Hotel Das Seekarhaus

Once again, I have come back to Austria to the PHENOMENAL Das Seekarhaus hotel. I have been coming to this hotel every winter for 4 years and this year has definitely been my favourite. If you are as lucky as I am to stay at Chris**as, you might meet Father Chris**as himself! The food they serve for meals is absolutely wonderful from pancakes and waffles at breakfast to Bolognese and chicken nuggets at lunch and all for dinner! Thank you very much, especially to hard working Christian who made these days very special for me! I was always looking forward to meeting him at meal times. I appreciate your kindness which means a lot! There are wonderful facilities like a swimming pool with a spa for adults as well as separate swimming pool with steam and sauna for the kids! The hotel is next to ski lifts, so you don’t have to walk at all. You can ski in and out! Das Seekarhaus holds a partnership with the CSA ski ( and snowboard!) school. Miha, the head instructor, manages the lesson bookings very professionally and is very organised. I was skiing with Dani AGAIN! It was so much fun again! There is also the friendly kids club and the BMX trail. The Seekarhaus team have built an amazing Ninja action park with trampolines and soft play area. The hotel rooms are big and spacious with lots of different things to enjoy. I'll be back next year. I cannot wait! Love, Maya Hopp, aged 9 and a third when written!

Fantastic location and everything is so convenient and easy with the ski rental shop on site and lessons starting from the hotel. You literally take a lift up from the ski room to the pistes and you're next to two major lifts. With it being half way up the mountain you the slopes immediately around it are almost deserted from 3pm so you get the slopes to yourself which was amazing. The hotel is lovely, the staff all very helpful and friendly. The food and service is excellent.

Amazing hotel, Lovely staff, very friendly a**osphere. We would definitely go back. Having the ski school outside and the lifts next to the hotel make this truly ski in ski out. The children learnt to ski in a few days. The boot room is also 5*! The 6 course meal is wonderful, and the breakfast buffet is excellent :) fantastic holiday

After staying more than 3 times year after year Hotel Das Seekerhaus is an outstanding place to stay for ski vacation: the best in service, food and location literally on the slopes. The Beatles bar and friendly staff are excellent. We couldn't as for more!

My wife and I have been coming to the hotel for 12 years. The hotel is in an excellent location in the middle of the ski resort with direct access to the slopes. Directly from the ski room with a lift. The staff is very friendly and helpful. Dinner is a special experience with fine dining. Last year, the hotel was upgraded and enlarged the SPA area with an outdoor infinity pool. I would especially like to point out the waitresses Ana and Suzana, who brightened up the dinner. Both are very helpful and professional. I would also like to praise the waiter Roni, who knows how to serve and address the guests well. Thank you to all employees for a great vacation. Great 5-star hotel directly on the slopes. Lots of luxury and still very family oriented and cozy. Great restaurants, bars and wonderful spa and beauty area with trea**ents. The sun faced terrace with serving and magnificent view is a story by itself.

Tempted not to share how wonderful Seekarhaus is! The hotel is mountain luxe meets super chill. Luxury without being flashy. Excellence all round. Carefully designed and immaculate rooms. Mountain views everywhere. Wonderful spa. Every member of staff helpful. Makes skiing so easy - well designed boot room in the hotel, moments from the lifts. A winter haven. With thanks to the Krings family and their team. Special mention to Miha and the ski instructors - exceptional 1:1 tuition for each member of the family, all became friends.

Awesome Hotel and Staff right on the slopes, exceptional food and service and whole hotel modern and 5 star in every way. One of our party sadly had a ski accident and the staff went above and beyond to assist us with procedures/organising things. Cannot speak highly enough.

Very good facilities and stuff; friendly, high quality. The hotel has obviously grown to a large operation since my last visit with all its pros and cons. Definitely think the EUR 8 charge for a bottle of still water is far too high. It’s justified by the fact that it is spring water, but tap water in mountains is just as good. Also, an adults-only spa area should be enforced (we also had an 11 year old which we didn’t take up for obvious reasons). All in all we had an amazing time and rate the hotel highly.
