Invisa Hotel Club Cala Blanca

We booked this hotel as it had a high TripAdvisor rating and was fairly reasonable on price. We wanted near the beach, adequate sleeping arrangements for us and our teenage son plus a nice pool and peaceful surroundings. Our findings were a little mixed. On arrival it was chaos at check-in, no staff were organising where the arrivals stood and it was a bit of a free-for-all when it came to 'who's next?'. As we were travelling with our son, I'd paid for a room upgrade so that we could have two separate rooms - I'd also requested a room with a balcony and a sea view. The room was a disappointment - nothing like the photos shared on the Jet2 website through which we had booked. Our sons room had the 'balcony' - two doors opening up onto a railing and a slither of ocean to feast your eyes upon. Barely any furniture - a wide sofa and drinks station, nothing else. Our room was two single beds with a stairwell view. We resigned ourselves to it as we aimed not to be in the rooms much beyond sleeping. The food has been excellent - plenty for everyone and a range of alcoholic and non-alcoholic are available all day at the various pool bars and restaurant. The views are stunning and the weather has been exceptional. The swimming pools are pretty average and absolutely freezing! The main pool, near to reception, spent most of the week an unappetising green colour - to be avoided if you know anything about pool chemical balance (if you know what I mean). This was in stark contrast to the pool nearest to the restaurant which people seemed to enjoy the most. Probably the most disappointing aspect of our stay is that the October half term coincides with a Yoga Retreat - if I had known this, I wouldn't have booked. The level of entitlement cannot be underestimated. Hundreds of Yogis descend upon the pool area, beach and restaurant simultaneously, causing a bit of a traffic issue. Barged out of the way in the buffet areas, pushed away from the pool area so that they can put out their mats (completely obstructing access to the baby pool for anyone for little ones), I likened their 'invasion' to that of the irritating wasps that also inhabited the restaurant area near the bins. The infringement on these areas could've been easily controlled with strategically placed sunloungers or chairs to barrier off the areas they needed. On our final morning, upon finishing our breakfast, a few of the yogis spotted we had almost finished and stood, breathing down our necks, waiting for our table. We wanted to take our time but felt pressured to leave. This is not to mention that they carry their mats everywhere with them - including placing them on clean cutlery at their tables in the restaurant - then leaving and other unsuspecting guests then using their knife and fork after them not realising it has remnants of the patio, that everyone walks across, on them. In all fairness, we flagged this to the staff and they said they would cascade this to the group to ensure it doesn

Stayed at Cala Blanca in April 2024 and couldn't recommend it enough. Slightly out of season but still busy and vibrant enough. Hotel is immaculate! The staff do an amazing job keeping it clean and our room was done every single day, fresh towels provided etc. Very modern and stylish throughout. Access to a few different pools and bars which was great so didn't feel the need to use the sister hotel, although we had access if we wanted. Food was your typical all inclusive, very good with plenty of variety so don't believe all you read from the minority who prefer a McDonalds! Beach is literally a 2 minute walk and even has its own beach bar. Hotel grounds are remote with only a couple of shops and one or two restaurants on the road outside but you can get a bus or taxi into the nearest town if you want to venture out. Personally, we didn't feel the need because we had enough to see and do on site. One of the reasons we booked all inclusive. Special mention to Pierre who meets and greets most people at the majority of meal times, very welcoming, friendly and great entertainment. Kids club staff are fantastic too and can't do enough to keep the kids active and busy. A special mention to Fi-Fi. All in all an amazing holiday with more memories created, we will definitely be returning one day.

We were absolutely blown away with the beautiful views throughout the resort. We received an upgrade from the hotel to a room with a sea view and it was just beautiful. The area is quiet, we went for peace and quiet so loved it. There was a great choice of food at every meal time, sometimes hot food was warm but the quality was great and we really enjoyed it. The staff were all so friendly and a special shout out to Laura on reception, such a lovely lady and very helpful. Spotlessly clean and a good vibe from the entertainment team. Travelling as two adults we really enjoyed the adult only pool area. Would definitely return.

Check in quick and efficient Staff all friendly Food is ok Entertainment is ok Very clean Plenty sun loungers and extensive choice off pools The views are amazing It was my partner’s birthday I requested a free upgrade and didn’t get anything via the email I sent Yes it’s hilly and has a fair few steps we didn’t struggle with this but understand why some do Annoying with jet 2 I booked a four star and ended up at a three star sister hotel. This however isn’t the hotels fault. There’s literally nothing in the area but we went to chill so it didn’t bother us. We used the bus service to get out and about one day and had no issues.

We arrived on late Sunday night. Check in was busy but quite fast. They kept the restaurant open however we never went. The room was fab for what we need with 1 very large bed and a full out single for our child. There was a huge balcony aswell. The pool areas were clean and quiet. Always got a sunbed. The food was OK for all inclusive. The drink was not to bad either. The area was very quiet as there was nothing around there apart from a small shop. The hotel had its own beach which was fab. Taxis into other areas were not to expensive. I don't think we would return amd that's nothing to do with the hotel but with the area.

Just returned after a weeks family holiday we all had a great time lovley big complex and clean hotel, we booked a Premier room with sea view and it matched what wee booked room was fine nice big double bed also large sofa camp bed for our daughter large bathroom, balcony was also large great view and also had a couple of sun loungers and clothes horse. Pool areas were clean no issues with getting a sun bed nice and quiet ( imagine it will be different in the high season) bar staff were good polite and chatted away with you only downside pools were freezing even the in door pool was baltic although they had a sign saying 30* felt like - 30😂. Food and drink was OK had worse but try time it when there are no ques as it can be very busy also some people like to have heaped plates especially sea food looked like they had never eaten before with the size of the portions they take but heyho everyone for themself's. Nice beach area in front of restaurant. Entertainment team work there socks off to provide good entertainment best one was the we will rock you show was bloody brilliant👏. Justine from the entertainment team always stopped and had a good chat with us during the day and always had time for our daughter who loved her chats. Only downside we had was there is nothing to do outside hotel apart from a spar supermarket 1 gift clothes shop and 1 restaurant, we got a taxi to es canal €15 each way only to find out not many places open there either as most places won't open until 3rd May. Bus service is non existence that's if they turn up still never seen a bus yet sobfyou need to go by taxi. All in all would we go back here probably Yes as no complaints about hotel but would say NO regarding location and nothing to do or go to if you want a change of scenery. All in all great hotel and staff shame about location would have given 5* but location lost 1*.

Me and my partner stayed for 4 nights and we didn't want to leave. The hotel provided so much we were stuck for choice on what to do. There's also plenty of choice for things to do outside the hotel. There were 2 bars with quick service, 3 pools, a lovely restaurant right next to the beach. The hotel was beautiful, we ended up spending most of our time at the hotel as there was so much to do. We really enjoyed their tennis court, which made out last day as we played tennis as the sun came up. We brought cards amd chess and enjoyed playing at their bar, it had an amazing atmosphere. If you wanted to after breakfast you could take your morning coffee... or pina colada down to the beach front. The sun beds were lovely also. Although, the place is busy with families me and my partner found it exceptional for couples as we were able to enjoy their adults only area. Additionally, pier the host was lovely and made our stay. He added a lovely personal touch to our stay. He was so friendly and funny. We noticed he recognised lots of the guests, remembering which language they spoke. Although it was just me and my partner, the place is good for children. They had 'pirate island' and a few parks. There was also lots of entertainment, especially in the evening. During the day we saw children playing ping pong, playing musical chairs with the entertainment staff during the day. There was always a dicso or something in the evening. The choice in food was great. Theres options to be more adventurous however theres pasta, pizza, chicken nuggets, fries etc just incase you didnt like what was on. Me and my partner fully enjoyed the food every night.

We as others have stated were conned by jet2 into booking a 4* hotel but were housed in the 3* Cala blanca sister hotel to the Cala verde. The Cala blanca hotel was okay but we feel that jet2 are falsely advertising this as a 4* hotel and you are being housed in the 3* sister hotel. Please check with jet2 or the hotel that you get what you pay for.

So first off when booking through jet2 be aware both hotels are not 4 star - only 1 is! We were put in Cala Blanca which is a 3 star The superior premium rooms are basic and parts still ran down so don’t get your hopes up They have large balconies though Pros- beach and views are lovley Outside of hotel Is nice Staff are lovley Cons- Pools aren’t great and pretty dirty Restaurant is dated and stupidly long cues and basic food Our bathroom had a horrible sewage smell especially at night time A lot of noise from the rooms not very well sound proofed but it is a family hotel so that’s to be expected Trying to get an Uber is tricky as your miles from the main part of Ibiza, the local spar is pretty run down and only very small variety So personally for me we wouldn’t come back again.
