Insotel Tarida Beach Resort & Spa

This was our fifth visit to this hotel. We love it. It's great for children and adults with plenty of diverse activities for all ages. "The Retreat" a water park with slides, two large pools, two play areas for different ages, tennis courts and a football pitch. Plenty to keep the little, and not so little ones happy. There is also a buffet area with hot and cold food available daily. The SPA is also located here. Within the grounds of the main hotel there is a family pool and an adult pool for those adults wishing to relax away from the hustle and bustle. There is a kids club in the main hotel grounds and a mini disco in the evening for the children followed by really good entertainment for the adults too. The main buffet in the restaurant for breakfast, lunch and dinner is good with lots of choices. Tarida Beach itself, with direct access from the hotel, is a beautiful sandy beach with a gradual incline into the sea so it's really safe for smaller children. The staff in all areas of the hotel are amazing always willing to help and so friendly and are particularly great with children. Would highly recommend.

Brilliant. I can't fault this place. We had a wonderful stay, the pools are great with both adult pool & loads for kids. Everything is clean and tidy. The food is really good with great variety and the staff are very friendly. Being next to the beach is a bonus with amazing views from the dinner room watching amazing sunsets. I will go again!

Okay. Reviews can be very boring. I’m going to review from the beginning, as this is a TUI resort, and I’m reviewing for all you British people. Firstly. 6am flight was not bad at all. No one is going to be happy at that time, let’s face it. Flight was uneventful (it IS Ibiza lol). The crew were spot on. Drinks, food, duty free, all done efficiently. (Not going to lie. I had 2 Proseccos. What?! I’m on holiday) Transfer went well. All on time. Only neg was that it was a tiny bus, and I had to put my Tripp bag on my lap, as there was not enough space above. I’m an average sized person, and it was a tight fit. My hubby struggled as he is about a foot taller. Anyway, we arrived to the resort at 11ish, I think. Checked in. Told that room was being cleaned and should be ready soon. Waited an hour. Checked again. No, not ready. Hubby checked another hour later. No, not ready. ‘Can you check please?’ What do you know, it was ready. Brilliant! I’ve got a feeling that if you are reading this, you think I’m going to be really neggy? No. Not at all. We were assigned our room in one of the adult areas. Very close to the reception. Bliss. My case was VERY close to the 25kg’s (I never used half the stuff I took, but that’s another story) Our room was everything we needed. Big comfy bed. Lots of space. Nice balcony. Great bathroom and shower. And VERY clean. Free safe. Fridge. Iron and board. We’ve been to Ibiza a lot and that is not always the case. This hotel is huge! But everything runs like clockwork. One of the major plus points for me is the adult only areas. One being the adult only pool (my photo) and restaurant. If you want some peace and quiet, this is perfect. The pool area was my favourite part of our holiday to be honest. The sunbeds were very comfortable. The parasols were easy to put up (I’m a weeny) Everything so pristine, and the VIEW!! Cala Tarida is just absolutely beautiful. I really didn’t want to leave. So sad. Anyway. Besides all of the above, the hotels biggest asset is by far, THE STAFF! The restaurant, bar, housekeepers. All were amazing. Professional and helpful. ( I witnessed some rather entitled people, eye roll) By far, one of the best places we have visited in Ibiza. A quiet resort, and if you want to eat out, then there are a few other places around, and on the beach, which are pretty awesome. Sorry this has been so long. If you need details, then just ask. Ps. I never mentioned the food. Or the bars. The restaurant was the best inclusive one we’ve had on the island so far. Lemon ice cream every night. Sorry. It’s my fav. The inclusive drinks were better than other resorts. All in all. I would highly recommend visiting here. Can’t believe I’m back at work tomorrow. Crying right now.

My family's stay at the Tui Blue Cala Tarida was anticipated to be the epitome of all-inclusive luxury, yet it turned out to be remarkably different from our expectations. While Cala Tarida is positioned beautifully on the beachfront, offering stunning views and features impeccably clean rooms, the myriad of unexpected charges dampened our overall experience. The staff at Cala Tarida were consistently friendly and helpful, truly a highlight of our stay. The culinary offerings were plentiful with food available most of the day and fresh fruit always accessible during meals and snacks, which was a nice touch. However, the supposed all-inclusive package fell short of being inclusive. For example, we were charged €33 for stocking our room's mini-fridge with just 10 drinks. Additionally, using the indoor swimming pool in the spa cost €50 per adult, which was a significant unexpected expense. The hotel offers three special guest restaurants, yet disappointingly, only one was included without extra charges, and even then, it was limited to a single visit throughout our stay. Extra fees were also required for the use of both poolside cabanas and beach sunbeds, adding to our overall expenses. With the hotel catering to many families, it was surprising to find children's activities quite limited. The mini disco was not held every night, and when it did occur, it merely featured three reps dancing to children's songs for about 30 minutes—a stark contrast to the more engaging T-Bots entertainment found at other Tui resorts. The welcome session on our first full day, rather than being informative, turned out to be an extensive sales pitch for various chargeable excursions. For future travelers to Cala Tarida, I advise visiting the nearby Spar for more budget-friendly shopping compared to the conveniently located La Serina souvenir shop outside the hotel. If you have children and plan to visit the splash park, be sure to get there at opening time to secure a sunbed. Additionally, to make the most of the indoor heated pool, book your visit on the first day to enjoy a 20% discount, and consider purchasing three sessions for extra savings. In conclusion, although the setting and the staff at Cala Tarida were fantastic, the continuous additional costs for expected amenities considerably diminished the value of what was supposed to be an all-inclusive stay. Despite the hotel's appealing facade and wonderful staff, the extra outlays left us feeling that we did not receive the full 4/5* experience typically associated with Tui's offerings.

Loverly Hotel, all staff from reception and bar staff and cleaners to pool staff all very welcoming and polite. The venue is large and rooms are spread out, anyone who has mobility issues ought to pre arrange suitable accommodation with the hitel in advance. Location wise it is right next to beach, amazing sunsets from the restaurant or beach. Overall a great stay and would go back

⚠️Wheelchair users beware!! Lots of slopes. You or your carer need to be strong and fit. ✅ Good stuff. Fab food and cocktails. Staff lovely, friendly and helpful. Beautiful gardens. Lovely beach with clear water & fish! Seems perfect for young kids. Fun shallow pool available and there are splash pads at Retreat 10 min walk away. Sunset bar gorgeous vibe and view. ❌ Not so good. Hills and slopes all over. Challenging for manual wheelchairs / mobility aids. Pool water is cold.🥶 Bath a bit of a challenge to get in and out of.

Ibiza is always wonderful, especially in this hotel! The view of the sea from the room will delight you when you wake up in the morning Everiting was perfekt, the Best staf Throughout the hotel beatiful place thanks for nice days. We return every year.

Really good hotel especially for families with young children. Many things to keep you all occupied, pool, the beach just a short walk away and the resort which is a short walk away also. We stayed in block O which is the furthest away from the beach but closest to the resort. We were in room 1513 which was great as it was far away enough from the entertainment and restaurant that it was a very quiet area for my toddler to have his naps and sleep at night. Apart from the people above us who were quite loud and we could hear every footstep, we can’t complain about the rooms. The maids are all lovely and would clean our room around our toddlers naps. The food was great. And I like you have the options of having food at the resort, restaurant or around the pool as the pool bar does sandwiches, wraps and fruit. The TUI rep here is fantastic and a joy to speak to. All in all it was a great holiday & we would come again. The only one slight issue I have is that late check out is €105 which we had to get as we had an evening flight and our toddler really needed the nap. That’s not an issue but I think reception needs to communicate with the maids regarding this as once my child was finally napping which was well needed for the journey home the maid knocked on our door asking why we hadn’t left yet and woke our toddler up… a bit of a waste of the €105 but other than that - can’t fault it.

This is a pleasant hotel, not without its problems. I enjoyed my week long stay, but feel like some small management improvements (both management at the resort and from TUI) would be beneficial. Check in was a car crash and was incredibly slow. Is it not possible to incorporate tourist tax into the booking so that the check in desks don’t get absolutely slammed when a coach pulls up? Some inves**ent from TUI into some nice coffee machines would be good. The current machines and also the coffee served by the waiting staff is really quite bad. The food served can go from great, to really cold and a bit unpleasant. There also seems to be less waiting staff on an evening. I did see the boss effectively clearing large queues from outside, but I feel like there needs to be someone else managing things better on the food side of things. The sooner the evening entertainment is moved to the outside stage, the better! Apart from these issues, everything else was nice, even the icy cold pools I’ve seen mentioned on numerous occasions. I’m really soft (really really soft) and they didn’t stop me getting in.
