Marins Beach Club - Adults Only Hotel

Booked this hotel over a year ago, I must say having read the glowing reviews at the time, I am disappointed! This is however my opinion. This hotel is just okay, I appreciate you wrote to me and informed me it had been changed to a vibe hotel, but know your audience, about 6 guests around the pool, nobody under 40 and a DJ playing house music, is not really appropriate, music yes but this was a waste of their time! Perhaps high season is different? View from my room was a patch of wasteland covered in rubbish, not to mention the construction traffic for 12 hours a day starting at about 07.30! No notification of what is happening in the hotel, which is not a lot, again appreciate low season, we where only told, cashless system and hardly restaurant opening times upon arrival, that is pretty much it! If you want to use the Bali beds next to the infinity pools it’s a €50 euro minimum spend! The two lifts in reception are actually lethal the door closes on you as there is no sensor, so if you don’t quite make it in the door it closes swiftly on you! This happened on more than one occasion and we had to remember to dash in the lift and quickly press the hold door button, to prevent injury! I now come on to the food, very limited poor selection at both breakfast and dinner, repetitive and a struggle to make a meal, Turkey steaks 3 nights in a row! For 4 star I really would expect better and I have experienced much better in Majorca on previous visits, Paid quite a lot for HB and we are having to go out and pay extra for meals, If you are attracting a UK guest please cater for them, just a hint this resort on the whole is predominantly German, not a problem, but us Brits are sometimes far too polite for our own good! If in any doubt do your research on Cala Millor and surrounding area. Would I stay here again, no and I love Majorca but there is so much more of it to see!

My husband and I returned to this wonderful hotel for our second visit and had another fantastic holiday. We are always made to feel special by all the staff. They are all so friendly and welcoming, especially Raul, Andrea and Bea who were extra special. The hotel is a beautiful boho boutique style with lovely decor and artwork and is spotlessly clean. We loved our newly refurbished room which was very stylish. The food was lovely but we did miss our freshly made morning omelettes the second time around but apart from that everything else was great. The pool area is stunning and luxurious with chill out music playing and sometimes a DJ. A couple of nights they also had singers which were very good too. We hope to be returning sometime in the future.

Just returned from my second stay at this lovely chilled out hotel but this time with my partner rather than my sister. Had requested the same room we had in August (suite with terrace and my request was granted - thank you! Still say a jacuzzi would have been nice on the terrace as an addition which would have made it perfect. Staff once again were lovely, friendly and helpful and the whole place is clean. Reception helped with booking taxis for my other half to the golf course. We are not sun worshippers so didn't sunbathe around the pool but sunbeds always available at any time of the day and no rush to get up at 7am to put towels down although this may be different in the height of the season as we went the first week it opened in fact the first day. There was no entertainment during our first week although the DJ with his decks (yes they still have one) had set up for the day if I remember correctly on the Friday before we left and that evening there was also a singer setting up for the evening but they played pre-recorded music before they started for the evening. There was some background music during the day and evening around the pools and inside which I found to be quite pleasant. During our stay there was a mixed bunch of ages but mostly mature couples rather than party goers and I was a bit worried that it was going to be more like an 18-30 holiday following the change of style of hotel to a 'vibe' one but it was a nice calm a**osphere. We travelled with Jet2. In my review last August, I mentioned it would be nice to have soup at dinner and I was pleased to see that there was now soup available (but still no ice cream). I think if you are vegetarian you would struggle to find anything for main course at dinner other than vegetables. For UK visitors who like to watch TV whilst away there is a good selection of English channels on the TV. Very much looking foward to going back in September for two weeks with my partner and also with my sister and niece next May! Keep up the good work!

Beach club marins ,I had seen several reviews for this some were bad . I can honestly say that my friend and I were made to feel welcome by the amazing staff,and I have to mention them by name Andrea/Raul/Bea what lovely staff and a credit to the hotel, we were greeted like old friends and this wasn't just for show it was genuine that they wanted the guests to have a good Time including the reception staff who were very helpful. Facilities at the hotel couldn't fault them pools always clean . The indoor pool ,was heated and it's like getting into a warm bath the hot tub was equally as nice Very close to a lot of local bars and restaurants. The food at the restaurant was lovely ,I am a fussy eater due to a medical condition and could always find something to eat on the menu,the only night I struggled was fish night. The chef and his team always out did them selves especially the desserts, some of them they were like art in itself, my only gripe was that some of the food could have been a bit hotter. Our room at the hotel was with a balcony and what I call a small kitchenette ie fridge and kettle, sink and small freezer compar**ent within fridge. This hotel is worth a visit ( we also went at start of season) and i believe it does get quite a party a**osphere .

Didn’t know what to expect but we will certainly return. Superb little place. Staff are attentive always smiling. From reception, to restaurant and pool staff especially Andrea are amazing. We are a couple in our 50’s & loved the djs and Saturdays pool party. Such a mix of ages. Sunbeds super comfortable. No one rushes to reserve in mornings- winner!! Not pretentious place at all. Stayed bed & breakfast, fresh omelettes amazing every morning. The chef is a lovely fella. Lots more of choice. Stayed around pool for lunch food everyday which was also amazing. Room a bit basic but the hotel and ambiance certainly makes up for it. The interior of the hotel is stunning and modern. Book it honestly its a jewel. We can’t wait to return!! Well done all Marin staff be proud you make the place extra special 🫶

Marins beach club hits differently, From the beauty of this place to the quality of services. Absolutely sensational buffet as for breakfast to dinner , without forgetting the famous watermelon mojito a must go ! The room was spotless as the hotel, paying an extra for the vip pool is definitely an experience to not miss. Big shout out to the team and management who made our trip special. Such a dreamy place,couldn’t recommend more. Thank you so much !

Amazing staff who make this place special. The pool area is stunning. Room was a decent size, good value. Good gym and indoor pool area. Breakfast was decent. Evening food could be improved, but it didn't detract from a lovely stay. The hotel looked comfortably the nicest in the town from what I saw. I hope this hotel chain expands elsewhere as I'd like to book with them again.

From the moment the transfer drops you off at the road side you just know this place is something special. The 3 majestic palms hide the only entrance in and out of the hotel, which means the receptionist gets to know you very quickly and always responds with a greeting or smile. Once through the door the quality hits you, the decor although modern is not overly oblique that it is over powering and the use of soft textiles mixed with old bikes is quite amusing. The rooms in the older block are suites and as such have a small kitchen and lounge area and separate bedroom and bathroom, these are becoming dated but are immaculate in every detail, and we understand that these are going to undergo a refurbishment over this winter. The hotel has about 100 rooms and is adult only so when using the restaurant it is never overly busy and the food is prepared and cooked on a continuous basis so nothing is every left to “keep warm” as so many larger hotels do. The 2 outdoor pools are excellent and you have the use of an indoor pool if you want. Have a small number of guests means that the staff all get to know you and make conversation with you, going that extra mile to make you welcome. All in all a lovely hotel in a great spot just off the front of Cala Millor and walking distance to Cala Bona an Sa Coma

The hotel is lovely and clean with attention to detail in the lovely decor, nice seating areas, pool and garden areas. The rooms are spacious I stayed In 1504, overlooking the pools with a sea view. Large kitchen/lounge with most of the facilities catered for. The bedroom and lounge area did only have one plug socket in each room which was a bit of a problem when trying to charge both phones and use hair straighteners etc. The food was lovely, tasty and well presented. The staff were excellent, special shout out to Raul, Samuel, Andrea and Gosia who always took the time to greet us and smile. Unfortunately our holiday was quickly tainted from complaints from other guests (Dutch and German retuning guests). My sister and I choose to have a Netflix and chill on our 2nd day due to thunderstorms, and made ourselves comfortable in the lounge area where we were accused of being drunk from apparently laughing! Following on we were then accused of being disrespectful because we splash water when swimming in the VIP pool because the water spilt over the edge and wet guests sunbathing underneath. We were summons to the directors office and threatened with eviction! We highlighted the fact that in the summer months it's like a non stop 18-30's drunken 24 hour party, yet we were expected to not laught or splash about without fear of offending the other guests. The response was that it was a different clientèle during the winter months, indicating we needed to be quiet.
