The staff was super friendly, the room was amazing, and it was right in the heart of Santa Barbara but far enough away from the busyness of State Street. Couldn’t have asked for a better stay.

Quaint, friendly service, rooms well designed, nice amenities. Free cookies and lemonade! Walk to area shops and restaurants but not in busy area.

This place is not for me. When I walked in the lobby there was some weird, awful scent. The girl that welcomed me was not very welcoming and hastily showed me to my room. She didn't show me around or explain anything. It was odd.
Upon entering my room, I immediately didn't want to stay here and regretted choosing this place. It was dark and oddly decorated with hipster tchotchkes. The lighting was terrible. The fireplace and patio are nice. I didn't like anything else.
If I return to Santa Barbara I will not return to Palihouse.

We loved our stay and will most certainly return. Our room was spacious with a great mini fridge, Marshall speaker, snacks, and the most comfy bed. The vibe is French and chill!!

We stayed for one night….hotel staff greeting and friendliness and attentiveness were outstanding. All the staff, the rooms and food and drinks were excellent. Couldn’t have asked for a better experience!
