Palm Motel

An amazing gem of a find, owner was super accommodating and helpful guide for the area. The entire property was super cute and perfectly located. Best deal for the area, and free parking!

Well I liked the area is closed to Santa Monica and Venice beach and some others places that I wanted to go. 3 things that I did NOT like 1 . The blanket look ANS smelled like dirty like they didn’t wash them. 2. The hot water takes for ever to come out so if you want to shower turn in the hot water before you go in the shower and also they did not give us enough towels . 3. I was exhausted from 7hrs drive and I had to ring the window bell a lot of times and waiting there for 20min for someone to show up and the open sign was off I also call the number on the website and they just said to keep pressing the ring bell .

Decent rooms at a decent price but our neighbors chose to sit at the table right outside our room smoking **** all night. The exterior door had small gaps and zero insulation so we didn't sleep at all and smelled their pot all night.

Everything was really nice about this place: safe, clean, convenient location. The only thing I did not like was instability in the running water. It was icy cold one second and burning hot the next. Impossible to take a shower. I had to wait about 15 minutes until it was just right and do an express morning shower, doing it very mindfully so I would not burn my scalp. Otherwise it is a good place to stay.

It's a cute tiny little property with about 20 rooms. The pix don't do it justice. It's very safe and is on a quiet neighborhood street. You're a $7 to $10 uber ride to anything in SM, Venice, or the Marina. WYSIWYG though. It's just four walls and a bed with a tiny bathroom. But if that's all you need and you are traveling alone it's perfect.

I regularly stay at this motel, it is older style but that is part of the charm and reflected by the very low rates. The staff are excellent, safe, quiet and you can walk to the stores and food outlets and Santa Monica Beach and downtown. Bikers will like the undercover parking.

There was no ac or any way to turn heater off. Otherwise it was a nice room.

Charming, Kitch Motel. Very friendly, helpful guy who works there in the mornings, drives a beautiful canary yellow Corvette. I recommend this place.

This place has unforgettable character. It is like a street in a tropical town in a decade before any I have known. It is perhaps reminiscent of a dream in which one appears at a motel, that could be an interpretation of Alice in Wonderland. It's safe and clean with colorful bedding. There was plenty of storage space in the room I stayed in, quite a few channels on the TV and a nice sized mini-fridge. There's a very convenient Chevron convenience store directly next door. The surrounding area is safe and lovely. It's about 1 and a half miles from the Santa Monica Pier.
