The architecture of the buildings and layout of the grounds are unique - as is the artwork. We’ve
stayed in many hotels but never one as interesting and beautiful as this one.
The only negative is the charge for drinking water.
It is completely inconsistent with everything else.

We stayed 1 night on our way to Alameda. We had a nice stay. We would definitely recommend the Mission De Oro!

Best Hotel in the area everything was very convenient the restaurant was amazing. Management and staff were very friendly and helpful. I would recommend any to this hotel.

I had a hard time leaving because I was made a little too comfortable at Hotel Mission de Oro. The room was excellent, the lounge was delightful, my drink was made perfectly and my dinner was delicious. Nancy was an excellent server. The grounds were gorgeous. The staff was friendly. I loved the retro music playing in the restaurants. I will definitely stay again.

An interesting property off I-5, convenient for travellers. Beautiful southern California buildings around a beautiful courtyard with great amenities. A very good restaurant and bar with extensive and delicious service. We were put in a room with no hot water but staff remedied that quickly. Would recommend if you are travelling I-5

Really was a beautiful hotel and I felt safe. The guest services were amazing also.
Only problem was the water from the sink smelled. I asked to move to a different room but was the same. The staff member really tried to help me but I think it was a bigger issue. I hope they took care of that! Otherwise I'd stay there again!

Beautiful preservation of a mission with lovely gardens, good restaurant, quiet, architecturally interesting room and buildings and fabulous art collection. Reasonable room rate, will stay again. Convenient location right off i5 in an area with few other choices for travelers.

The check in was quick and easy. The front of the house staff was pleasant, knowledgeable and courteous. The grounds were beautifully manicured with plenty of open space. The wine museum was a nice feature. The rooms were very clean and spacious and we loved the Spanish decore. We had dinner at the “The Kitchen” restaurant and I was pleasantly pleased with the offerings. I had the med rare ribeye with compound butter and it was a great steak. The restrooms were clean and well stocked. The open kitchen was a nice feature with the kitchen being well organized . I loved how clean everything was from the stainless steel back splashes in the kitchen, to the copper accents on the light covers and the base boards where the walls meet the floors. There is quite a lot of attention to detail that goes in the daily planning and operations. We will definitely be staying there again soon
