Camping Bon Repós

This is the first time ever that I have written a review after eight years of motor homing. After having booked the plot three months before travelling and informing them that my motor home was at least 8.75 metres. We arrived late afternoon and given our allocated pitch. The pitch was far to small in length to accommodate us. The reception said the problem was they were ‘full’. After about 30 minutes of frank conversation they found a plot within approx five metres of the main rail line to Barcelona, I was too tired to argue as I needed sleep. After numerous protestations I was moved to plot that accommodated the motorhome. I was told that I ‘may’ have to move again as others had booked the plot. With nine days of our holiday left, I was informed I would have to move to another plot with all that entails. I said I was not at all pleased and after calmly explaining to the reception of my obvious annoyance they were resolute ‘I was moving’ Manager heard the commotion albeit one of his staff, as I had remained calm throughout. I was told others had booked that specific pitch and it was not fair on them. “What about me” I asked, is it fair on me ? I have now moved four times to my absolute disgust. We were with friends and had ferries booked so I suppose I could have left but that would have just about finished the experience off completely. The more vociferous member of staff said you leave and I’ll refund your money, which wasn’t a solution at the time for us. In fact I’ll go as far to say she was downright rude. All this could have been avoided if at the time of booking they had read the information I had given them regarding the dimensions of my vehicle. In my opinion it is either greed or incompetence that effectively ruined our holiday. The site is in a nice place with sufficient bars and restaurants, however the whole experience was ruined by the campsite’s inadequate organisational skills. We will never return to the site neither will our friends or anyone else that wants to discuss our experiences if they’ve got any sense.

Loved this site, right on the beach with amazing sunsets etc. Walk into Santa Susanna and train into Barcelona. Pitches are a little tight but manageable. Kids loved the pool and the entertainment was good.

As a family of 6, including three 6 year olds and a 2 year old. This was our first trip abroad together. I picked Bon Repos because of my familiarity with Costa Brava and its proximity for both beach and travel. Bon Repos itself is well located for train stations and attractions. But if you don’t want to leave, you really don’t have to. The Bungalow we had was spacious and suited us well for the week. It had a well equipped kitchen/living space, family bathroom, downstairs bedroom with fitted wardrobe, single and bunk beds. (3 kids in there) upstairs there was another larger bedroom with twin beds and fitted wardrobes. We rented a travel cot for free so baby slept up there. There is also a double pull out in the living space. Outside a nice patio area with table and chairs. Aircon worked beautifully in all rooms. As I said you don’t have to leave! The pools were amazing for our kids, and very warm. We spent a lot of time around there. Cerveza and Cafe con Leche = €4.10. Yes please!! Animation team are relentless and great for the kids. On a night the entertainment was decent enough. But the restaurant is amazing and the beer is cheap. My bill kept coming at the end of the night and I was always very happy with the prices. Had a brill time here and would definitely recommend.

A mid range family and sport friendly location … Super nice and efficient reception staff … Basic but clean toilets / washrooms / dishwashing areas … plenty of hot water, Good stocked shop … Restaurant is somewhat “fast foody” but prices are good and staff are super friendly and efficient. Pitches vary in size, But there is an option of beach front, which are fab. When we were there there were a lot of Moto-Cross participants, But was no trouble with noise of racing through the site. We will us this place again as a stopping off point

Been coming here for years with motorhome Showers are lovely .Lidl and carrefour are within walking distance. Train to Barcelona is also close Restaurant is good On site shop for bread and loads of other items Receptionists have always been friendly Most of the staff have been here for years So you feel like you know them Bon repos must treat their staff well .otherwise they wouldn't stay

Estuvimos en parcela con caravana y la estancia fue muy mala y decepcionante Llegamos y el vecino estaba ocupando 1 metro de la parcela y el resto era un parquing para otros dos que encima te miraban perdonándote la vida. Música alta sin respetar a todas horas, celebraciones de vecinos ocupando las carreteras impidiendote el paso con el coche, gritos hasta altas horas de la noche, personas cruzando por tu parcela mientras comes, ... Lavabos muy sucios, lo limpian únicamente una vez al día y con tanta gente os podéis imaginar como estaban después del medio día, fuerte olor a meado y sin mantenimiento. En el lavabo de mujeres se encontraron un tampax en la pica y otros dos en el suelo. Fregaderos llenos de restos y para colmo gente lavando la jaula de los pájaros dejando todo lleno de alpiste y plumas. Había una convención de salsa y tuvo que ir el de seguridad a decir que desalojaran el escenario para que los críos pudiera hacer la minidisco, aún así empezaron 20 minutos más tarde quedándose casi sin tiempo. Y que decir del restaurante, fuimos a tomar unos cafés y helados y nada más llegar un camarero le chilla al que nos recibía " sin reserva nada, nada!! " de malas formas. Si no le gusta su trabajo que cambie, eran sólo unos cafés que encima nos servimos nosotros mismos en la mesa. Pueden poner escusas o decir que todo es mentira, pero es una pena que con una ubicación tan buena el camping esté tan mal y el ambiente sea tan malo. Deberían ser más estrictos e implementar normas para mejorar la convivéncia y mejorar el mantenimiento de las instalaciones No volveremos, una pena.

Hemos estado en una parcela, empezando por qué los espacios no se respetab y queda una parcela bastante justa para una autocaravana y poder estar con las sillas y demás fuera, pero bueno, eso pasa. Tema duchas y baños, antiguos pero almenos están limpios. El principal problema es el ruido.El nombre de bon repós….. por que reposar es de lo que menos se puede hacer, no he estado en un camping tan ruidoso nunca, grupos de chavales en los bungalows liándola durante todo el dia, la gente con la musica alta un montón de horas…. No se respeta lo del silencio a partir de las 00:00 ni mucho menos. El tren que pasa justo al lado, no se puede hacer nada y bueno, pasa despacio por que la estación está al lado y por la noche no pasa. Se tendría que controlar más el tema de los gritos y música de la gente a partir de las 00:00 de la noche.

Verguenza.......ni un contenedor de reciclage, todas las botella de vidreo, latas, envases de plastico, papel aluminio....solo contenedores de basura. Un sitio para conectar con la naturaleza y no puedes reciclar nada. Creo culpble tambien el ajuntamiento de Santa Susana, lo tendrian k controlar

Nous étions un groupe de 15 personnes. malgre une reservation 5 mois à l avance de 3 bugalows , à l arrivée nous avons découvert que ces 3 bungalows étaient dispersés sur l'ensemble du camping. Ces 3 logements etaient sales. Pour celui que j ai occupé, 1 trou dans le plancher de l'espace cuisine, la douche inutilisable car les portes battantes sortaient des gonds qui empêchaient l accès et de +, pas d eau dans la douche. Très déçu de cette expérience de 4 jours
