Apple Tree Inn

After getting the key out of the lock box, it was very hard for me to open the door to the room. And, I can’t completely lock the door. Fortunately, there is the lock at the top of the door. The bolt lock should be looked at and fixed. The body wash in the shower is hard to get out. Didn’t use the shampoo or conditioner. Otherwise, everything else is excellent.

Its very nice motel, clean, soft blankets and lots pillows!! Cable and wifi. Some of the combo lock entree tricky, and we had the only room that locks behind you, becareful.. luckily maid came on at 9am and let us back in..Close to Julian, without being right in town. We will stay again.. And The Best Restaurant right next door!! JEREMY'S. I WILL BE BACK SOON!!

Very nice stay - bed very comfortable and everything is spotless. Highly recommend. Dinner next door at Jeremy’s was delicious.

Our stay at the Apple Tree Inn was delightful! Clean room, comfortable beds, hot showers and close to wineries and Julian!

Upon arrival around 7ish I hoped to check in with a person & not a digital text to let me know the code to a lock box next to my room. The instructions in the text didn’t explain my room was between the building & up the stairs at the back of the property, Rm 18. Overall the suite was nice & I enjoyed the fireplace.

The room was clean but the tub/shower enclosure really needs to be replaced. It is in very poor shape with black around the edges of the tub, cracks and the tub itself is just in awful shape.

We were very pleasantly surprised for an older looking budget priced motel. Checkin was Is he through texting and a lock box. Our room was clean, and appeared to have been partially updated. The 2 queeb beds were surprisingly comfortable and everything worked well, except for Wi-Fi didn't connect but they offered Netflix on a flat screen that connected to our 5g hotspot and was great :-) Turned out to be directly next door to the restaurant I had chosen Jeremy's on the Hill (wonderful place don't know whether I can put the name here but it's directly next door!). Pros: great location, price for us was very reasonable for a Friday night, beds unexpectedly comfortable, friendly responsive staff, goid heating/cooling, ease of check in and check out, good amenities including unexpected coffee maker with pods. Other: Wifi not working (Although 5G fine). Tub worn inappearance and could use new enamel or replacement.

It was an okay experience. We had an issue with the Futon in our room not working properly and the carpet in the room seemed a bit dirty. The price to quality of the room wasn’t what we were expecting. Not a bad stay overall but we probably won’t stay here again.

Great hotel location, very clean and comfy. Note though that they must allow dogs as we heard several barking from other rooms and it was a bit of an annoyance. Would still return and enjoyed our stay!
