The apar**ent was adorable. It was like a step back in time, yet the kitchen included everything you may need for a comfortable stay. And Claudia provided so many goodies in the fridge as well as locally produced packaged and fresh baked goods, jams, etc. We couldn’t have asked for more.

I had a house for myself. Tiny, but a house. With a terrace. Right inside the "borgo", the historic center. Living Room/Kitchen downstairs, Bedroom/Bathroom upstairs. In Winter it can apparently get really cold here, and given the fact that this village is built right into a steep rock, you'd wanna keep those houses small in order to survive. There's been a lot of love spent on details, and you'll notice that immediately. I wish I had stayed longer than 1 night, 3 or 4 would have certainly felt awesome. There's a fridge, a kitchen, WiFi... I don't even want to say anything nice because I don't want to spoil it (incredibly, it seems like this place hasn't been "discovered" yet and the odd elderly Italian couple are the only other tourists besides you). I'd highly recommend it to lone travellers or couples in love.

Claudia and her father have done a terrific job building this accommodation. They are so friendly and passionate about the history of such a amazing place. It is a 10 star experience not to be missed. Great Dinings as well! One of our best experiences ever!!

This place was exactly what I wanted after traveling for a few weeks in some busier areas. I wanted open space, no crowds (I was here mid week), and a small apar**ent where I could spend time reading, doing some work, and preparing my own meals. The fresh mountain air is what I needed. The staff was amazing, and I was so happy to find basics like fruit, yogurt, pastries, coffee, milk, cheese, meat stocked already. There is also a small store where I purchased fresh eggs. On top of all of this, they did my laundry for me. Amazing service. everything I needed and nothing I didn't. (which, was kind of the opposite experience at some of the 5 star places I had stayed just prior).

We stayed 3 nights at Residenza la torre and enjoyed so much our stay in Santo Stefano. The room was large and situated in the centre of this historic village in the mountains. Breakfasts were plentiful available in the room with an espresso maker. Our hosts organized a canoe trip for us on the Tirino river which was superb. Would highly recommend staying there.

I went to San steffano in hope of writing some academic work which demanded quiet and a good WIFI. I got more than I asked for. The manager was so veeeery helpful and I needed that helpfulness in the wake of the COVID 19 restrictions. Thank you so much. Highly recommended in every sense.

Camere ricavate da una specie di torre nel bellissimo borgo di Santo Stefano di Sessanio, spaziose e ben arredate. Letti comodi e colazione con molta scelta. Alla reception personale gentile e professionale. Prezzi ottimi. Una piccola pecca e’ la grandezza della doccia.

L'appartamento è in posizione centrale, facilmente raggiungibile. Locali caratteristici e puliti. Una menzione speciale sulla fornitura di prodotti da forno del posto per la prima colazione, dolci e salati. Un grazie alla cortesia dell'accoglienza a Claudia e Ciro.
