Aeolos Art and Eco Suites - Μόνο για ενήλικες(Aeolos Art & Eco Suites Adults Only)

Finding the property was a little difficult, especially because we arrived when it was late. I also couldn't find a phone number to call them, which was a little frustrating. But when we finally found the place, Alex was really sweet and helpful, and walked to my car to help with the luggage, which was a good ten minute walk uphill. He also showed us where the store/restaurant was. My room itself was nice and exactly as pictured. I did get a little lost trying to find the room at first, but once I got the hang of it, it was easy. I also liked that we had our own pool, even though we didn't end up using it. Location was very convenient. We did rent a car, and Alex showed where we could park when he went to get our stuff with me. I don't regret renting a car but unless you want to explore other parts of the island, it probably isn't necessary, but there are lots of free parking on the island.

Great location with beautiful view. Its a bit tricky to find the hotel using google maps as the GPS points to a different hotel. But we later used the instructions provided by the hotel and were able to find it. I suggest the hotel use more sign boards and nearby stores to guide to the location. Clean room with great sunset view from the balcony.

This property bills itself as a 4-star hotel but is really more like 2.5 star. It only has 9 rooms and no restaurant or reception area. Pros - staff are friendly and extremely dedicated - view is incredible - location is ideal - lots of great restaurants nearby Cons - pool area is small with limited seating - our room had no shower - prices are high for what you get (but so is everything in Santorini)

I usually don’t write any reviews but I felt the need to for this hotel. My stay here was absolutely amazing… Alex, the manager was so accommodating, hard working, welcoming, and kind. He helped us get transportation to everywhere and anywhere we needed, carried all of our luggage’s for us, checked in on us constantly to make sure we were enjoying our stay, and gave us the best experience possible. The hotel itself is beautiful and clean with breathtaking views right outside the room. Highly recommend giving this a try when in Santorini. Also perfect walking distance to Thira and delicious restaurants. Thank you Alex for making this the best vacation yet !!!

Had an amazing 2 night stay in the Ikaros executive suitte!!! We were greeted with a large bottle of water and glasses in a private area to wait for a few minutes while the room was getting finished, we were early. The room was large, beautiful and clean. The view was stunning!! Staff were friendly and available throughout the day!!!

Just finished a great week staying at Aeolos suites. Check in process was very smooth and staff were always around when we needed them (Alexi was great!) and happy to help and recommend places to go. Our room stepped straight out onto the pool which was amazing. Pool didn’t ever feel crowded as a lot of people do day trips most days. Room was well maintained only slight downside was the jacuzzi jets turning the water slightly brown and being a funny smell. Location of Aeolos is incredible - amazing sunset view. Better than most restaurants and close to Imerovigli and Firostefani where the restaurants are far better than Fira and Oia in our opinion. Thank you to the hosts :) we will be recommending you.

If the review was to be based on the view from the property then it would have a much higher rating. However, the staff were unwelcoming, the rooms were to a poor standard with a sewage smell and our hot tub was broken when arriving. Unlike our prior hotel in Santorini, the check in process was not welcoming, we weren’t given any tips about the island or offered any services. In comparison, our prior place offered us drinks, a map of the island, a bit about where we were staying, options to reserve restaurants with a few recommendations, nearest amenities and excursion options. We watched as several guests had a bottle of water thrown at them and wizzed to their room. We were told that our hot tub was having problems when checking in and that it would be fixed within an hour. We waited until 5pm to be told that it wouldn’t be ready until the next day. The staff said to use the pool instead, it’s not a problem. However, after paying more for the hot tub and only having a shorter stay, being told to use the shared pool with just two sun beds without any apologies or corrections was frustrating. We were told it would be fixed by 9am the next day, but it took until 4pm to be able to use it. More frustratingly we were repeatedly told it would be fixed in an hour or two which kept us waiting around, again with no apologies. Having staff coming in and out of the balcony to fix the hot tub rendered it useless as well. This would have been understandable had we been given an honest answer so we could have made alternative plans. We felt sorry for the room beside us as they also had to have staff trample through their room to get to ours. When it was ready it felt unsanitary. As other reviews picked up upon, the property and rooms generally had a sewage smell around it and the rooms were dated/damp feeling. Views were amazing but there are many more properties in Santorini where you will get more for your money. We said to ourselves several times that we were glad we didn’t have our honeymoon stay in the suites.
