Indeed, this is a Leading Hotel of the World! The hotel is phenomenal! The staff is professional, welcoming, very helpful and knowledgeable. The view of the volcano and caldera is breathtaking!! There are no words to articulate the splendor. Just be prepared for the numerous steps.

We originally wanted to book at the Mystique but since they were sold out, our travel agent suggested the Kirini. It was over 800 EURO per night, so we figured we would be okay as far as nice, clean accommodations were concerned. When we walked into the reception to check in, the office was filled with cigarette smoke. I had a bad feeling, but hey, we were in Santorini.. maybe thats normal! Then, after signing our papers the lady took us to our room. The view was unbelievable, but then again, the view is unbelievable anywhere you stand in Oia. The room was hot, the curtains were torn, flies were swarming in the bathroom, there were stains on the pillows and the couch, and the mattress was nothing more than 2 inches thick. Oh, and our front door didn't close completely. I understand why this would be slightly okay If we were paying maybe 200 euro a night - approx $350. At least when you open the door you can see the ocean. But over 800 EURO is absolute ****. We felt so taken advantage of. It only got better.... right when the reception lady left us in the room we called the Mystique hotel (which was a few doors down) and they luckily had one available room. 50 Euro cheaper.... AND it was AMAZING!!!! 5 star all the way. After checking out the Mystique, we ran back to the Kirini to talk to them about leaving the hotel. We had only been in our room for 10 minutes so we figured it wouldn't be a problem to leave. They shook their heads and said they would charge the entire stay on our credit card. We of course, being from America, thought we could fight it when we got home. We left the Kirini and walked our bags over to the Mystique. The Kirini charged OVER $4,500 to our Visa. OVER $4,500 for 10 minutes in a hotel room. We however, had an amazing experience at the Mystique, and would recommend that hotel to anyone looking for an unforgettable Santorini experience!!

My wife and I came here for our honeymoon and were rewarded by making the best choice of hotel we'd ever stayed in. This is a first-class experience in every way. The staff, the location, the rooms, the food - all of it. There's nothing for me to say except that we loved our time here and wish we had spent an extra 1-2 days here. The rooms are an experience in themselves, and the views from each of the patios are stunning. Living in a cave for almost a week was amazing. The breakfast, which is included, was wholesome and decedent, and they were generous with the menu. It was also very quiet since this particular hotel was off the beaten path a bit, so get ready to get your steps in (the staff helps with your bags, don't worry). Everything is walkable (you can walk to the center of Oia's "downtown" in about 12 minutes). The poolside chairs and cabanas are perfectly located, with stunning views. My wife also had rave reviews for the spa. The hotel also set up travel to and from the port and the airport. We also had dinner at the restaurant, and the tasting menu was amazing. The chef and staff accommodated our specific dietary restrictions, as well. Bottom line: If you're deciding between Katikies Kirini and another hotel, choose Katikies Kirini. This might likely be the best hotel you ever stay in.

The views of the caldera are out of this world. Our rooms are super comfy, with a private terrace that made it feel extra special. The staff is super friendly and they will take care of everything you need. If you're looking for a dreamy spot to relax, this place is perfect!

The view the hotel the service everything is excellent! It worth every moment to be there and have a full experience I have visited a lot of hotels in the world and is one of the best I have ever been and I would definitely want to come back again in the future

Fantastic rooms excellent service very nice and friendly people I enjoy the food and I had a pleasure to try bio regenerative treatments at ZOE CLINIC doing hyperbaric chamber Ozon therapy and a very useful diagnostic treatment I felt very relaxed and rejuvenated Strongly recommend

Places don't get much more magical than Santorini and this hotel perfectly captures the environment in a way I've never experienced before. The cave rooms rest on the cliffs over the water creating some interesting routes to the room. There are lots of stairs but the reward is a truly authentic, one-of-a-kind experience. The hotel is perfectly located far enough from the hustle and bustle of Santorini but still within strolling distance. Rooms were beautiful. While the plunge pool was a bit small (and ours was oddly tucked underneath stairs), you can understand why given the constraints of the cliff. Staff could not have been more kind and helpful. They went above and beyond with recommendations and reservations. There isn't nightlife at the hotel (which we learned the hard way after rolling in after many drinks on a cattamaran!). The indoor/outdoor restaurant that serves excellent food with views like nothing you've seen before.

How spectacular can a hotel be? Well, just look at the hotel’s Instagram feed and you’ll see it. And in this case, what you see is what you get. Outstanding hospitality, breathtaking scenery and beautiful premises. I guess that sums up Katikies Kirini. Ideal spot for a romantic getaway. Hope to be back soon.
