Pancratium Villas & Suites

My fiancée and I had the most incredible stay at Pancratium Villas and Suites, we really wished we stayed longer! We were looking to stay somewhere quiet, away from the hustle and bustle of Oia and Fira. The room was amazing and we thoroughly enjoyed our own private jacuzzi that looked out into the Caldera - it was so peaceful. Breakfast each morning was fresh and delicious. We want to say a big, big thank you to Martha, her husband and staff who looked after us. They were all so accomodating and ensured we had a wonderful time in Santorini! We are so grateful for Martha who helped us organise all of our amazing activities. We would love to return to Pancratium one day!

My partner and I stayed here recently for 10 days and absolutely loved it. Very friendly staff and the room was fabulous. Fantastic views from the whole property and situated close to local restaurants/shops/beaches. We will definitely be back!

Pancratium is the perfect place on Santorini if you want to escape the crowds. Situated in a quiet spot in Akrotiri, it has amazing, uninterrupted views across the caldera. My suite was very spacious and had a separate jacuzzi room with a stunning view. Martha and Lefteris are exceptional hosts, even providing a local mobile phone to use if I needed picked up. I recommend it highly. Thank you, Martha and Lefteris, for all you did to make my stay so special.

I gave 4 stars not 5 on *********** and the owner Martha wrote to ask why I’d given a low score. I said this in reply to which she said ‘that is your opinion …’ so I don’t think she appreciated my efforts to help her make some small improvements. There is a sense of being stuck in their ways. But I shall copy and paste my response to her and hope it helps: Dear Martha. I didn’t leave a low score. I said ‘very good’ but I’m going to try and explain my opinion as to why I didn’t say ‘excellent” and hope it helps. You are both such lovely people, warm and friendly. What could have been a better start for us was not getting lost. Our Sat nav directions could not find you. Perhaps you could provide guests with good directions or suggest they call you if they get lost. (Maybe it was just us but my husband doesn’t normally struggle with directions). Also, what other places in Greece we’ve stayed in provide are really nice pillows, big televisions, quiet air con, and Zealots toiletries (shampoo, conditioner and body lotion). Lastly, it would be good to provide more information about Akrotiri ancient town site. It’s amazing. Also the various beaches. We were interested in Remezzo but you hadn’t heard of it. We went to The Edfge twice (excellent), Theros Wave Bar and The Seaside. All really good. Maybe you can expand the information you give guests. I have taken time on my holiday to write back to you because I know you are disappointed with my review but I can assure you we had a lovely time and felt very well looked after by your. Nous avons passé un séjour merveilleux dans cet endroit idyllique avec de merveilleux petits déjeuners frais, que l’on peut manger ou l’on veut. Les conseils de Martha très précieux. Et tous les services annexes qu’elle nous rend comme louer un bateau, une voiture… Nous avons été charmés de ce passage qui nous a baigné dans un endroit calme et reposant avec les restaurants à côté . Lorsque nous reviendrons en Grèce nous ferons une nouvelle halte chez Martha.

Juste incroyable. Nous avons adoré le lieu, la vue, le jacuzzi. L'accueil est très agréable, rien à redire. Je recommande vivement cet endroit pour les voyageurs voulant visiter Santorin et se détendre. Le petit déjeuner est top, bon souvenir, encore merci pour votre accueil.

Personnel : Martha et son mari nous ont parfaitement accueilli au sein de leur établissement. Ils ont toujours été aux petits soins pour nous, avec le sourire, arrangeants (par exemple, Martha s'occupe de la réservation des navettes). Je n'ai jamais vu des gens aussi serviables et généreux avec leurs hôtes. Chambre : chambre spacieuse, avec tout le confort (télé, frigo, clim, wifi) ; la salle de bain est grande ; la chambre est propre, et Martha passe tous les jours pour faire le ménage. La vue est splendide sur la caldeira (on peut voir Oia et Fira depuis la terrasse). Le jacuzzi est grand, l'eau est chaude et parfait pour se détendre. Le Pancratium est situé dans une zone très calme, proche d'Akrotiri centre (5mn à pied) avec toutes les commodités disponibles (petit market, station de bus, poste, restaurants...) Le petit déjeuner est apporté tous les matins à la chambre, avec le sourire, fait maison (jus d'orange pressé minute) et nous pouvons le déguster sur la terrasse, sous le parasol. Aucun point négatif !
