Royal Garden Resort Sanya

The swimming pool is amazing, beautiful with a great view. The staff of the hotel didn’t speak English, so communication was a little bit hard. Staff there was not very kind as well, they did their job and that’s it, no caring about treating the client well. The breakfast was horrible. Coffee bad, milk bad, juice bad, even the milk to have with cereal eat hot, not many breads, no cold dishes. Breakfast there was not for foreigners, only Chinese. The hotel itself is beautiful, the room I stayed is gorgeous but has no life there. No international channel on TV as well. Stayed there 2 days and had to move to another. I don’t recommend.

Looks exactly like pics. It's located halfway up the hill. Just 10mins hike up to luhuitou park. But nothing to eat near this hotel, need to walk up or down..

The hotel room was spacious and neat. It had a bathtub, separate shower/toilet, a large closet with a safe, a mini fridge and some cups, which I really liked since I made my own breakfast. The sea view from the balcony combined with that of the hotel's infinity pool looked amazing! The hotel is only 15 minutes by walk away from the nearest beach and everything is relatively close. Since it was located on a hill with a long drive through... ordering things from meituan was really convenient. They even had a meituan locker where you can scan the code and collect your order! The front desk receptionist spoke proper English, was nice and attended to my needs. They also had a gym and restaurant. It's sad that they didn't have a laundry room since I stayed in Sanya for a week and wanted to do my laundry. Also the pool closes at 7h so at night you couldn't swim. But you could lay down and enjoy the fresh nightly breeze!

Beautiful view, clean room and awesome pool. The room was a little dated but had everything you needed. Breakfast is from 7-10 and had basically all been packed away bang on 10 when I arrived hoping to get atleast a little something. For some reason in the shower there was only complimentary shampoo, and no shower gel...

The pool is amazing but I have many points that our group found bellow average. 1. There were cigarette stains in a non smoking room. 2. The staff are rude! they constantly went to our Chinese friend to give him complaints about us for him to translate to us. But he's our friend, not our translator. (complaints about eating and drinking by the pool. I guess they are super concerned about foreigners drinking by the pool) 3. The breakfast Buffet costs 200¥, and it's definitely not worth that! 4. Their gym is dangerous! The equipment feels like it will fall apart and the treadmills don't even work! 5. They only have ice when their restaurant is open which is really not often. I asked for ice so many times but they just said no. 6. The pool closed hours earlier than advertised!

It was my second time staying in this hotel. Both experiences were very good. They upgraded my room this time, I really appreciate that. The room was spacious and comfortable with sea-view and a private garden. The breakfast is very good, I recommend to include it in your booking. Check in and check out process is fast and easy.

Great hotel. Great service. They were happy to comply with all my requests. Beautiful view. Great infinity pool. Walking distance to everything important. Breakfast could do with some western options, but it will fill you until your next meal.

When in Sanya I love staying at this hotel , nice location… although one night I had a big cockroach in my room
