One of the few hotels in sanya which has a place you can swim in the sea. The beach is very nice and sea is relatively calm being in a cove. Sunbeds are available, just need to contact staff to unlock them. Rooms are nice and big. Breakfast has plenty of choice. The grounds feel a little neglected and could do with some maintenance. There aren't alot of staff around hotel. So customer service doesn't feel like that of a 5 star hotel. There aren't many restaurants around the hotel and getting a didi car can be a little difficult in public holidays.

This hotel was recommended to me but I wasn’t sure what to expect. However, I was so happy to stay, our room was amazing, so clean and large. The Ayi that serviced our room was amazing. The location is also perfect for going to the beach, walking and exploring. Having lived in Thailand we absolutely loved the authentic Thai restaurant and the staff paid attention to detail and tried their best to answer all my questions even though my Mandarin is terrible. The only downside was the pool area, which needed some work to the decking as it was not in a good way (and some was being done to it). Nevertheless, my family and I definitely plan to stay there again.

This was our second time at Luhuitou and it didn’t disappoint! Although the first few days the hotel breakfast was in the banquet hall due to refurbishment it didn’t dampen the experience. The room is lovely and the view is amazing. The quality of the food is always great and we really like the Thai restaurant on site. The pool is great too but the decking needs a little refreshment. One of the best features is the beach area which the hotel staff provide sunbeds for. The staff are all so lovely and welcoming!! Everyone has a smile on their face and I’m not surprised because the hotel is stunning!
We will continue to come here in the future!

Great location for a weekend escapade, quiet and privacy. Facilities are in working order but needs some life and maintenance. Many areas are without lights during daytime, makes the place gloomy and shaggy. Beach is great.

This is the second time I've stayed at this resort, and I love it. The private pool villas are beautiful. The service is great. The breakfast is decent and the Thai restaurant is awesome! The location is close to Dadonghai Beach. I highly recommend this hotel.

We visited the resort back in 2014 when it was known as Anantara Sanya Resort & Spa. However, the resort has since changed management and name. We noticed that some of the staff require additional professional training and could improve their customer service skills, such as greeting guests with a smile.

Amazing hotel with breathtaking sea view infinity pool. Good breakfast with both Chinese and Western options and extremely kind staff.

It’s a lovely place. All the other comments I agree with. They should repair walkway around pool ( very minor issue but not a good first impression as I first accessed the hotel from the beach). It’s a beautiful hotel. Room comfy/ luxurious as well as outdoor sofa on balcony VERY comfy for relaxing.
A complaint: cutting the lawn almost all day on the Sunday from breakfast time all the way into the afternoon. Can you maybe reserve this not for the weekend/ Sunday? Ironically weekend guests spend more to get to Sanya and stay here than a weekday guest. There was also a wedding on the Saturday afternoon and evening ( so noisy on both days). But despite this, incredibly charming place. If the rate was more affordable I would have stayed Friday and Saturday night but only stayed one night due to price for a solo traveller ( hotel is empty)… Thank you for my stay.
