Nice, clean and quiet accommodation! I had a really nice time staying here. The owners were so so so kind and helpful in checking me in. They don’t speak English but we translated everything easily and they were very patient and friendly! The room was nice, brand new and spotlessly clean. The bed is a little on the hard side but I had a magnificent sleep in the crisp sheets. The shower is nice and gets lovely and hot. It’s just one street off the main night food street (delicious – hit up the taco truck and the the mago ice cream lady) and about a 3 min walk to the main beach. It was right near the action but the hotel wasn’t loud or crowded. If you’ve never been to Houhai before, it’s a bit of a bottleneck getting in so if you are driving, you have to park away (I would suggest lot 3 or else you’ll be waiting in traffic for ages) and walk in (about 7 mins). The hotel offered to meet me and help me with my bags to the hotel which was nice. I’d stay here again when I come to Houhai next time. Very pleasant experience.

Calm hotel with very good location. Staff is always smiling and helpful. Beds were a bit too hard for us but for the cheap price it’s really worthy.

The place was clean and in a good location. Far enough away from the party places to be quiet and pleasant, but a 5-10 minute walk to the beach. The staff were wonderful and kind. The only problem I had was the bed was uncomfortably hard. Was a bit difficult to sleep sometimes.

Small, basic room. Bed was quite hard, but comfortable enough for a night's sleep. I liked the location, being a bit further away from the beach and all of the loud, late-night club music.

Great location! It’s a couple of minutes walk to the beach! But far enough away from the loud music and bars. Hotel is very clean, but basic. The best part is the staff. They went above and beyond for any request we had. They even let us do laundry upstairs! Gave us free drinks! Highly recommend the hotel. Oh, and fantastic air conditioning, which is great for sleeping after a hot day at the beach.
