Gir Pride Resort

It was a good experience. The resort was good it was highly connected with the nature with had lot of fun over there. The staff was good. The food was good. There were three dogs over there. The rooms could have been a little bit better. We played cricket over there.

The rooms are ok ok but the rest of the property was pretty well maintained and thr faluta fauna was amazing the food was good the bathroom needs to be improved ,the ac should be repaired,been sheets should be a little clean , even the pool needs Tobe maintaoned

Very good location n excellent atmosphere...so ***y plants n trees are there....very creative owners....helpful staff....delicious and homely gujrati food....pet friendly.....swimming pool....and so ***y adventure and out door activities... slow music and most amazing small library is also there.. tent are very spacious with big bathroom..all over very pleasant stay

It's a marvelous nature experience and best in class Kathiyawadi food at great taste, enjoyed a lot, thank you so much team gir Pride Resort for the fast and quality services, enen through I have asked to change the room for some reason and they make it in a minute at same plan and quote, it's my 3rd visit and being a fan of the resort will surely visit again in monsoon season to explore the nature, thank you again

Overall 5 Star for everything, Good Food, Good Stay, Good Environment, Good Entertainment in evenings , Staff is very polite , owner is kind, Dogs are super friendly. Must visit for Couple or family or groups. We are very happy to stay here for 2 nights. Recommended

If you are planning to explore Somnath, Diu & Gir and looking for a comfortable family stay this is one of the best bet. This resort promotes Kathiawadi food, design and culture in all respects. If you love the forest theme then you can definitely plan to stay here. Resort is in the middle of forest and surrounded by lush greenery from all its sides. the property is very green from inside too. Swiss luxurious Tents with lovely private sitting area with a khat, jhula and few chairs is best. Apart from the tent stay they even have deluxe and family rooms. These are priced lesser than tents. Dlx rooms and family rooms are best budget options. The hygiene & hospitality is superb here. You can enjoy tribal dance and garba too on week ends and holidays. On request property arranges for pick up- drop jungle safari booking as well. Camp Leo has best engagement activities for all ages. Kids would really enjoy best here. ***y pets within the Campus. Parents would love the atmosphere. You can enjoy cycling, games and other fun activities or you can chill by the poolside. Do plan your stay here when u around Somnath and im sure you won't be disappointed

This is our second time staying at this property (you may refer to my previous review where we visited around April'23 with my family). This time, I just went with the missus to enjoy some well deserved down time near the end of the year. Room: -We booked the "tree house" this time around (we stayed in the AC tents last time), which exists at a certain elevation and gives you a clear view of the surrounding forests nearby. Witnessing sunrise from there was just beautiful! -24x7 running hot water -WiFi available -Rooms were neat and clean, and were serviced every alternate day Food: -Oh, where do we even begin ! If you're a foodie then you are in for a treat ! From having south indian/parathas and other healthy bites in the morning, various Indian dishes during lunch to a proper kathiawadi dinner every evening - we looked forward to each and every meal of ours ! And of course, how can you forget the proper kathiawadi tradition of having multiple pickles and a potful of chhas/buttermilk ! -The best part is, the food is always prepared hot/fresh and the owners ensured that you have had a proper meal : ) (yes, they are pretty hands on and take time to check in on everyone everyday) everytime ! There was always one or other thing for the kiddos (pasta, etc.) on the menu as well to keep them happy. Amenities/entertainment: -Since we were visiting during the last week of the year, there was some show or the other which was organized in the evening. Our favorite was the show done by the local "Siddis" who are native of the area. -The resort has lots of "play areas" where you/kids can spend time -Lots of selfie points and village style resting spots -Our favorite part however, was to just take a stroll around the resort and in the farms, and admire lots of animals that have been kept there in the open (rabbits, hamsters, horses, etc.) ; you get to feel nature upclose and it was in literal sense - a breath of fresh air -You may also opt for excursions around Gir/safari/Somnath etc. and the resort will arrange it for you as per your requirement (we did not opt for this) All in all, we expected our stay to be good but it turned out to be even better. To my fellow travelers, do visit this property if: - You plan to get away from all the hoopla and noise of the city -want to live amidst the nature -love to admire local flora/fauna -would love to explore the local kathiawadi cusine -you want to have a homely feel All we did was eat good food, walked in the farms and admired the beauty of this place this time - exactly the kind of vacation we were looking for. The owners live on site, so you may get in touch with them directly for any requirements. Needless to say, we will be back, thank you so much for making our stay enjoyable once again! overall ambience is very nice, hospitality and homely food is available here. Room Hygiene can be improved little more.. it was nice but could improve more. I would recommend to stay there and enjoy a pure country side life.
