Lovely staff they are really helpful 😊 Decent place to stay if you're going to Scarborough. Was a bit cold in the room and there wasn't alot of plugs, we had a sea view and rooms spacious. Breakfast was a great location is great too for sea front ir bars . Thanks

Very good clean and great service and location brilliant service brilliant breakfast can’t recommend it more bedroom really nice and staff and owner very accommodating we have gone to Scarborough many years and have not noticed this place before wish we had!

We stayed at the serenity guest house for two nights,what can I say,probably one of the nicest places we have visited & we come to Scarborough lots,everything was lovely,the owner was very attentive & even asked us if we wanted buckets & spades for the beach,the room was lovely,homely & very clean,everything is there what you need,the guest house is decorated beautifully & everything is how you would want,the location is amazing right on the heart of south bay,would we stay again,most definitely,we will definitely make a return trip,thanks for everything x we stayed 23-25th august ⚓️

Another great stay at The Serenity Guest House ! We were met with a warm welcome from Steve who showed us to our room . The room was immaculate and spacious and had everything we needed , the bed was so comfortable!! Breakfast was amazing the lady who served us ( sorry I didn't get her name ) was attentive . I will definitely be back again and we would recommend a stay here to anyone . Thanks again Susan , Wayne & Daisy

Rooms very basic but done the job. Having a pushchair we had to carry it up 2 separate sets of stairs even though we still got a lift to the third floor. Our room overlooked the front of the hotel and the seagulls and other birds were so noisy it kept us from going to sleep and they woke us back up again around 5am. I would not recommend this hotel to anyone.

What a lovely building with character. Clean,inviting from the outside. Spotless inside. Stephen loves a chat and makes the whole experience special. A lovely few days and a perfect spot to explore. Myself and family would love to endorse.

Warm ,friendly and welcoming.Great breakfast very clean and tidy we’ll definitely be stopping there again.Town center only a short walk away,excellent value.

Good location next to the Grand, not far from the railway station. We stayed in Room 2 which had a view between two buildings of the sea. Comfortable bed although would have preferred a king size. Had everything we needed.

It cost £60 for two of us, so it wasn't going to be the Ritz was it, and unlike some other reviewers, I'm not going to whine about the mis-matched decor!! Here's why I'll be booking again over other B&Bs I've stayed at in the area - • Clean, very comfy bed. • Very clean private bathroom with shower. • Complimentary toiletries. • Towels provided. • Tea/Coffee facilities with plenty of supply. • Wardrobe with hangers. • Hairdryer!! We forgot to bring one! • Two comfy chairs. Good to relax on while your other half gets ready ;) There's also the smallest lift ever, it's insane, like a shoe box.. we went in it purely out of intrigue. I'm sure it'd come in handy for someone less able though!
