Nice place in Seaham. Clean, fresh, nice decor. Parking just outside. Central. Good price. Although no breakfast included , short stroll for coffee. To eat in the evening bit of a struggle as most of the restaurants recommended were shut. So check. Recommended….👍

Another comfortable overnight stay. Stayed at No16 many times. Always very clean and comfortable. High standard accommodation and I can strongly recommend it. Plenty of free parking outside of the property. A few minutes walk to the beach, shops, cafes, bars etc.

Loved this boutique hotel. Had everything we needed and although the establishment isn’t maned 24 hours, there was still someone at the end of the if you needed help, We had two rooms and the perfect, well designed and super comfortable beds. We will definitely be back.

I had the family garden apartment. Very nice bathroom. Compact lounge/kitchen and conservatory dining room. Upstairs is a double bedroom, a bunk bedroom and toilet with basin. Very well decorated and furnished, warm, cosy and quiet. Small private garden with table and chairs. Two minutes walk from the seafront and numerous bars and restaurants.

Larger room than expected. Good toiletries,towels and superb rainfall shower. Good hospitalitry tray and free Netflix etc. Very comfortable bed. Simple and efficient entry system with codes sent before arrival and very clean throughout. Only stayed one night but could happily have stayed a week. Good location and easy on street parking.

If you’re in Seaham for the sea glass, you’ve come to the right B&B. It’s easy to find, just off the seafront, with free parking on the quiet road. Head back down to the seafront, turn left for the most famous sea glass beach, and right for the second one by the marina. Our ground floor apartment was lovely, and on two floors, which made it feel spacious. The two bedrooms were interconnected (to go downstairs, one had to walk through the main bedroom). But the inner bedroom had its own en-suite, so no need to disturb the occupants of the outer one during the night. The main bathroom is downstairs. We had a great patio and garden (fake grass, yuk), which we enjoyed in the good weather. My only complaints would be that the lounge was a little small and dark (because a conservatory/dining area had been added on), and the tea mugs weren’t all clean. I imagine the previous occupants hadn’t cleaned them very well. Oh, there’s a hob, but no oven - worth remembering. There’s an Asda within easy walking distance, and a somewhat down-at-heel shopping centre. Anyway, thoroughly recommended. We were sad to leave.

What a brilliant place. Modern, clean and fantastically located. All codes sent before hand to get into the building and key box. Sofa bed already made up. Plenty of storage. Extremely comfortable bed and a good powerful fan (we had the street level room so windows were closed). One thing (and this no way reflects the amazing property or the score I’d give), but the tv kept losing signal and it could have done with being on a swivel as you couldn’t see if from the bed (my daughter was asleep so couldn’t use the sofa). The shower! Wow. I’ve been to a lot of places around the world but it was one of the most powerful showers ever. Loved it! Will definitely stay again when up in Seaham!

Booked No16 for a night away with my husband. Message sent before arrival with a code to gain access at the main front door and another code to access the key safe outside our room. We stayed in room 6 - deluxe king room. A large room with a huge bed. Clean with a lovely modern decor. Large tv on the wall, kettle with tea coffee milk sugar and biscuits plus 2 cans of water. Nice bathroom with soap, shower gel, shampoo and body lotion. Fluffy white towels too. Room was lovely and warm on arrival with a thermostat to control the temp as needed. We enjoyed a lovely meal at the Indian restaurant a few mins walk away. We had breakfast at the recommended Clean Bean cafe again 2 mins walk away. Parking was nice and easy on the roadside right outside the accommodation. A great little place to stay and enjoy Seaham. Quite a few nearby coffee shops, bars, restaurants and ice cream places to try and a few shops and an Asda within walking distance. Dalton park outlet shopping is 10 min drive away. Couldn’t fault anything and would recommend No16 to anyone looking for somewhere to stay in the Seaham area.

First stay at No.16 with my children, 5 and 7. We had the best time in the lovely garden apartment. Check in and out were stress-free with clear instructions received the day before. Comfy Beds, bathroom toiletries, fluffy towels, a dining table in the conservatory and a well-equipped kitchen. The apartment had everything we needed. Fantastic location, free parking outside, only 2 mins walk from the seafront and a row of wonderful places to eat. We LOVED Clean Bean and ate breakfast there both mornings. The 10% discount was a welcome bonus! Already lining up our next visit :) Well worth the 3.5hr journey and we loved seaglass hunting.
