Driftwood Beach House

We really enjoyed our stay here. We booked the Mykonos room which suited us perfectly. It was very private, with our own hot tub and covered garden area, which was perfect for the March weather. We really enjoyed how it felt like our own little space which allowed us to truly relax. We loved the ease of ordering breakfast every night, the food was delicious with a very good selection. The bed was very comfortable and the room was really clean with thoughtful touches. Jasmin was a very attentive and thoughtful host, and she made us feel very welcome and comfortable. We hope to stay again soon!

Found this place last minute and what a find it was. Fantastic location, fantastic host, fantastic food, just fantastic really......couldn't really find a fault......unless you count my wife moaning at my snoring lol

We had a wonderful stay at Driftwood Beach House. The Moroccan style room is absolutely gorgeous and very comfortable. We really enjoyed lighting a fire, putting fairy lights on, and getting in the hot tub on a chilly February evening. The breakfast each morning was amazing and Jasmin prepared some delicious vegan options for me. She was very friendly and helpful, and even gave us some thoughtful Valentine's treats. The location by the beach, a nature reserve, and close to the town centre was great. Thank you, we hope to come back soon!

Jasmin and Kevin were excellent hosts. It was one of the hottest weekends and couldn’t be a better spot to bring summer to an end. Tastefully designed, minutes from beach, great breakfast and cosy and stylish home. Spacious garden, great privacy and quiet. No faults.

Such a special experience, nothing like it in South East England!! Came last year with a friend but returned this year for our 10 year wedding anniversary. Was recommended the new suite by the owner and WOW what a transformation!! The Maroc room last year was lovely with Moroccan touches but this Suite is more than double the size, with a luxury bathroom with the biggest rainfall shower you have ever seen! It also has bathtub to great for decompressing, dressing room, armchairs facing a fire place huuugggeee bed, and leads through to a relaxing sunroom. The outdoor terrace is massive with hot tub, outdoor sofas, dining table, hanging chair, Moroccan lanterns a plenty, and even an outdoor fire...although we didn't need this, as despite windy beach on the weekend we came, the terrace is an absolute sun trap, it felt like we were abroad :) Great to not have to fly to experience that feeling!! The owners have thought of everything and whether you are coming for a special occasion or just want a different luxury experience you wont find a better experience in Whitstable , it is a calming refuge after the bustling seafront in the town centre. Your breakfast is served in your private sunroom or on the terrace in the sun. We went out to the Sportsman for dinner one night then cancelled the next nights reservation and just stayed in and hired their bbq and drank champagne in the hot tub. Don't hesitate to book here, you wont regret having such a wonderful place in easy reach!!

This was honestly one of the most beautiful, tranquil places we’ve ever been. We came to Driftwood the night of our wedding and was welcomed with open arms and a lovely bottle of bubbles. The hot tub was divine, the breakfast was fresh and tasty each day. Inside, the decor is BEAUTIFUL. Jasmine and Kevin and lovely hosts and we’ll be back every year!

Such a peaceful place to stay. Jasmin makes you feel so welcome without being intrusive, it's more like staying with family.Freshly prepared breakfasts that you've chosen in advance are brought to you at an agreed time each morning. Property is within easy reach of Whitstable and The Sportsman in Seasalter.Lovely location sandwiched with the marshes to the rear and the sea to the front. Great for walking or running then soothe your aching legs in the property's hot tub (extra charge) under the fairy lights on your own private patio or indeed anytime.We'll definitely be back for sure !

Jasmin’s communication with us was great from the moment we booked, and we massively appreciated her patience as ill children meant we couldn’t decide whether to come until the final minute. We were so lucky to experience the new Maroc Spa suite, which is just stunning, and had the most relaxing and peaceful weekend celebrating our anniversary. Jasmin has thought of all the small things to make a stay here completely wonderful, including the most delicious breakfast. A weekend of comfort and relaxation, with an added bonus of the hot tub on a warm spring evening. We loved the walk along the beach into Whitstable. We’ll be back. Helen & Andy

Looking for a girlie weekend with hot tubs, fireplace and cool Moroccan Bohemian vibes...Driftwood has it! We went to Driftwood Beach House as a group of 4 ladies, we dont live that far away but wanted a relaxing break. We booked out both of their rooms, which was fab as it meant we had private use of both terraces and communal gardens. What more could we ask for...during the first day we went out to the beach and enjoyed the last of the year's sunshine in the town centre and harbour and in the evening we closed in the doors in the Mykonos room pergola and own own spa party, making full use of their hot tub, fireplace and we brought wine, a cheese board, and music, it was so nice to just be able to have adult conversation without our kids around...bliss! This B&B doesn't advertise and can only be booked direct, but so glad we found it as there is nothing else similar in Whitstable or surrounding really. I stayed in the luxurious Maroc Suite, which has a very comfortable bed, their blackout blinds mean it is pitch black at night which was perfect for getting a really deep sleep. The Suite has fireplace and big bath tub to help you to relax, the owner even gave me some Epsom salts for my bad knee to enjoy my soak. It also has a peaceful sunroom attached which was perfect to get up an do a bit of yoga stretching or read with a cuppa before my friends were out of their beds. The terrace to the back is so quiet and the only noise you can hear is birds. Breakfast was 10/10. On the second day, we tried their other hot tub (wood fired) and rented their bbq and just stayed around the property/went to the beach across the road as is much more peaceful that town centre beach. Thanks Jasmin and Kevin for your wonderful hospitality and for going above by picking two of us up from the station when our taxi let us down! We will be back next year!!
