GreenTree Inn Sedona

First, the positive: 1. The staff was courteous, professional, and helpful. 2. The outdoor area was well above par. The pool was clean with in-pool loungers (4). Safety equipment and signage posted. Multiple cabanas (6?) were available. Large fire pit with plentiful seating. The pool is 5 feet deep at the center. This is not a pool made for swimming laps, but for lounging. 3. Rooms have an outdoor balcony with a table and 2 chairs. 4. Windows have both a blackout screen and a privacy screen. The window is able to be opened for fresh air and is screened. 5. HVAC was in good order and worked perfectly. 6. In room refrigerator was clean and worked well. Microwave, TV, and phone in room. 7. Breakfast area was spacious and breakfast offered multiple options though I did not avail myself of this amenity. Now, the negative: 1. The room itself was much smaller (king bed ) than expected. Room was cramped and looked nothing like the pictures on the website. 2. The bathrooms were recently remodeled, but the aesthetics are problematic. Why would anyone put wood laminate flooring in a bathroom with a walk in shower that has approximately a 2" inch lip and shower curtain in lieu of doors? You take a shower and the floor gets wet...no bueno. 3. There is a $10 per night service fee charged on registration. The fee is for wifi and other services. I don't recall seeing this posted when I reserved the room, but perhaps I overlooked it. I didn't object paying it, but the fee should be transparent. 4. Housekeeping is performed every 3 days and if you need more towels, etc., simply contact the front desk and they will have what you need brought up. Other: I booked the room for 2 nights but opted not to stay the 2nd night.

Upon arrival, the front desk clerk was so kind, and even provided a handwritten list of recommended restaurants to visit (when asked). The room was great. Very large actually, with plenty of room to walk around the large king sized bed. The bathroom was small (shower and toilet in the w/c), but clean and functioned well. There was a balcony (surprise!) with a view of one of the rock mountains, so morning coffee or evening wine had a perfect place to be enjoyed. Overall, the hotel was quiet, never heard anyone in other rooms, although some of the guests at the pool did get a little loud one night. Not the hotel's fault though. Speaking of the pool, the pool was great... There were cabanas for rent, that's just not my thing, but those were nice as well. A hot breakfast was available. We partook one morning, and had our fill of (already made) omelets, bagels, juice and coffee. Overall, this place was great and I would stay here again.

Needed a hotel in Sedona for an overnight family trip that was away from the hustle and bustle of the main tourist area, wasn't too expensive, and had an EV charger and the GreenTree Inn proved to be the perfect fit. The front desk was very helpful at check-in and advised us the best way to get to our suite which was on a slightly detached portion of the grounds and if you took the wrong route in the parking lot could take you through a very nasty ditch (note that late night arrivals will probably find an automated kiosk in the lobby instead of a real person). They also pointed us to the EV chargers and walked us through how to turn them on since they're free for hotel guests but require a key. The room itself was very roomy and more than comfortable enough for our short stay. The breakfast area we went to the next day was on the small side but had hot eggs and sausages in addition to cereal and bread unlike other hotels in overpriced tourist towns we've been to that skimp on their breakfast offerings. On a side note, the pool and jacuzzi looked very inviting but since it was December when we went we didn't get a chance to try them out. Maybe on a return visit to Sedona. After check out we found our ride fully charged which set us up for a great sightseeing trip in and around Sedona before heading home.

It' a perfect location for everything I do when I visit Sedona. The staff is great and the property is very nice!!

Checking in to a person on a screen is terrible, why can't the front desk person check you in. The room was clean, the pillows were terrible, heater made a loud fan noise..

The front desk staff at the facility was very friendly! The room was cleaned, but they forgot to look in the fridge! Also, the owners really need to fix the outdoor steps for the section leading to the suites! I am attorney who has one settlements first steps in far better condition than these! Someone is going to get hurt!

Very accommodating. Very organized. Very informative Excellent customer service. Great breakfast 😋 Great pool and area. Minor dirt in corners but clean otherwise.

Nice room and bed was comfy but I was very disappointed in the lack of selection at breakfast. No meat on the menu and the area was a little bit small so kinda cramped to sit and eat I was expecting a great breakfast like the one in Prescott Valley had

The office staff is wonderful. They are extremely accommodating and helpful The room is clean and comfortable. We loved the convenience and location. It was easy to get everywhere we wanted to go.
