Finca Ses Fontanelles

To be avoided. Don’t waste your hard earned money at this establishment. Terrible attitude from the owner. Who’s seems to dislike all his guests. Very strange. I think this guy has clearly chosen a wrong Career path. Walk a bit further and find a happy welcome.

We arrived 15 min before 'official' time of 3 pm. We were not granted access to the property, even outdoors. I was injured and needed water instead I was insulted 'stupid goat'. We were asked to leave, leaving us the option to hike another hour. He mentioned that he would not charge us but he did to be avoided !!!

Owner aggressed us verbally upon arrival because we were supposedly 15 minutes too early - we walked away with a keen sense of danger - something wrong with the mental state of the people at this location and other reviews confirm this

If you hike on GR 221 either from Sant Elm or Andraxt, you can't miss this wonderfull place. Patrick with Maria has turned this old Mallorcan finca into hospitable and refreshing place. You can spend the night in well equipped dormitory on bunkbed or in more luxurious rooms. Home made dinner and breakfast can be ordered in advance. The atmosphere of the place and hospitality of the owners was an exceptional experience, and was uncomparable to anything on GR 221.

« Warm » welcome indeed. « Czech people, do not go on vacation if you do not have the money » the owner told us. Even selling water to you bothers him. You can only hope, he will not be present… If you see Ses Fontanelles, turn around.

Five guys on the GR221 found this to be a small paradise. Patrick the owner was very welcoming with a drink and a tour of the finca. The facilities were clean and tidy in the shared dormitory. We also booked our evening meal which was all harvested from the finca and very tasty! The only thing that could be improved from our groups opinion was an opportunity to buy some time on the satellite WiFi as there is is no reception. Otherwise we really enjoyed our stay. Thanks again.

Absoluter Horror… Die Unterkunft an sich war wirklich toll. Da kann ich nichts gegen sagen. Betten sauber, Duschen und generell das gesamte Bad war sauber. Aber der Betreiber der Unterkunft war sehr unfreundlich zu mir. Erst wurde eine sehr unverständliche Mail verfasst, bei der nicht genau klar wurde, dass man auf die E-Mail noch antworten muss. (In der Mail stand, dass meine Übernachtung bestätigt wurde und ich FALLS ich Abend essen möchte, das reservieren bzw. bestätigen muss) Ich habe es gemacht, aber am Tag der Ankunft wurde mir gesagt, dass der Betreiber die Unterkunft gestern storniert hätte! Eine Mail dazu habe ich nicht bekommen. Bin also um 16:00 Uhr völlig platt angekommen und wurde erstmal mega angeschnauzt. Unter anderem wurde mir gesagt, dass ich doch unfähig und unhöflich seid. Ich habe also kein Abendessen und Frühstück bekommen. So etwas unfassbar unfreundliches habe ich wirklich noch nie erlebt. Lieber würde ich meine Etappen irgendwie anders legen, damit ich da nicht nochmal schlafen muss.
