Very comfortable, well-maintained unit provided excellent base for a week of hiking in Pisgah National Forest.

Nice location, needs a few upgrades such as washer/ dryer replacement; more attractive artwork; better equipped kitchen .

This was a very nice and clean place. I liked that we had the balcony and our own exit as well. Fireplace was in good working order and easy to use and the kids loved the amenities like mini golf and basketball.

The resort is located in a perfect location, close to activities such as skiing, tubing, and hiking. The amenities within the resort can keep you occupied. We enjoyed playing miniature golf, fishing, crafting, outdoor fire pit, and an incredible game room. The staff were always extremely friendly and accommodating. Their recommendations were also spot on.

Some units are aged, but, it's still a great place and we had a wonderful time. the staff goes above and beyond! Very helpful. putt putt, pretty place, hot chocolate was great, free movie rentals and games

Major construction was going on & heavy equipment was running EVERY SINGLE morning with loud beepers going off constantly that would wake you up.  The RCI description states there is an indoor pool, but there is not. We asked at check-in, a lady told us they used to have an outdoor pool, but it literally caved in - hence some of the construction. The furniture is TOTALLY worn. The main sofa (which is a sleeper sofa) was so worn. It killed our backs to sit a very short time at night before bed. The cushions are just flat and smashed. The glasses in the kitchen cabinet had lipstick lip marks on the rim. The dishwasher is SO LOUD to run. We got put on the 3rd floor, so we had to go up and down 3 flights of steps several times a day with our 75-year old mother. The units from outside look very dated and worn. Positive: there is a stackable washer and dryer.

This resort is at the bottom of Sugar Mt. The Food Lion is close for groceries, as well a few other shops including a coffee shop. The resort offers many activities, the accommodations were clean and comfortable and the staff was friendly, helpful and pleasant.

I did enjoy my stay for the 7 days that I was there. Stores, Coffee shops and restaurants were all close by making it nice to go out. The scenery was really nice and so was the staff making the stay more enjoyable.

Bedbugs. Twice. Stayed at this location in February of 2023. Two days in we discovered bedbugs. Management moved us to another condo for the night and we left early the next morning. Tossed all of our luggage and spent a lot of money making sure clothing and vehicles were bug free, and that we weren’t carrying them into our home. Our stay had been booked through a third party, so the resort could not refund our money and instead offered us a complementary week at the resort, staying in another condo at another building. After discussion we decided to try it thinking that surely the issue would have been taken care of, and that a timeshare is going to struggle to make money if they have a legitimate bedbug issue. We checked in for our comp stay. Took nothing in to be safe. Began checking beds carefully fully expecting things to be fine, but still feeling paranoid due to our last stay. Found dead bedbugs as well as a large live one in the mattress. Keep in mind this is the same resort but a different building and condo. We immediately checked out and began looking for other accommodations. I believe they have a pervasive bedbug issue. If you have reservations, cancel them. If you’ve stayed here, be cautious of anything you’ve taken back home. Horrid experience x2 in a beautiful area of NC.
