Tibet Guest House

The family of the Tibet guesthouse are kind, generous and helpful. The place is clean and has a wonderful mountain view, I enjoyed the food, my favourites were the mushroom omelette and the Tibetan bread.

The hotel is very cozy, beautiful & classic. The hotel owner, Zhouma very friendly. The location of this hotel is near to TINA’s. They provide free pick up from TINA to Tibet GH.

The guesthouse is located on the side of the main access road, easy to find. Need a place for meditating, finding an inspiration and experiencing the Tibet's touch? Lovely place with good view. Family managing this stay is very helpful and kind. Was given rides for the hike down to TLG and Tina’s GH for bus ride back. Food was great.

This is one of the best hotel in entire China. The environment is absolutely everything a 5 star hotel can give you. After hiking the Ancient Tea Horse Road, I decided to rest here. The uncle and aunty are so so helpful. I can’t thank them enough for all the assistance they offered me. They picked me up from Tina’s and also helped to send me to other sightseeing places because i had very little time. They cooked me a superb dinner and breakfast. Fresh, homely cooking that tasted amazing. No one in the mountain will charge you so little like they do. And the portion is like for 3 person. I even worry whether they make profit or not. The view from my room is 360 breathtaking nature mountain view. Never had i ever drank coffee with such majestic view from the bed. The hot shower is one of the best i had in entire China. The towels, amenities, shower cream, slippers are all first class quality. The bed OMG. I slept like a baby. Their service and hospitality is one of a kind. The next day they cooked a spread of breakfast fit for a king. Such generous warm family they are. I’m definitely coming back with my friends. I want to try all their cookings.

A hidden gem in Tiger leaping gorge. I think the best place to stay in all the area if you like a quiet and warm place. The guesthouse runs by a lovely family. The food here is delicious and not expensive. You can have a relaxing place on the terrace. All around there are some paths to walk. Definitely the best. You will feel like at home

This was the best choice we made during our trip. The location was great with breathtaking views. The owners were very friendly and you could feel the family atmosphere inside (and the lady even spoke a bit of quite good English), they also recommended us some best spots to see. The local food was great and selection was really good (and you could even see people preparing it in the kitchen). The restaurant was bustling with life but relaxed at the same time. The room was really clean and we even managed to have the one with its own little balcony. 10/10, couldn't recommend a better place in Hutiaoxia.

The best part about the hotel are the meals. You could stay there for a week, eating different meals three times per day, and there would still be dishes you did not try. The omelet is on par with 5 stars hotel. The bed is super comfy. There's a aircon unit as well. It's quite weak, but still makes a difference when it is below 0. Water pressure is great, and the water is hot. Though, you need to wait for a couple of minutes before it heats up. Owners may be over attentive and talkative. Not everyone might like it though, when some moments of privacy is a priority. So keep it in mind. But overall, I could not wish a better stay for myself. Went to middle Gorge track twice. Be aware, the way up (heavens stairs) has a massive vertical ladder. If you afraid of heights, better take the other way up: either the way you came, or keep going straight via other route. I didn't take it, so not sure how much longer it will take you.

Absolutely wonderful stay at the Tibet guest house. Set against the backdrop of the beautiful mountain range, the guesthouse boasts a prime location near all the key hiking points at the Tiger Leaping Gorge. Moreover, it is clean, well-maintained, and exudes a lovely homely feel. The hosts were extremely warm and made us feel like family. We were fortunate to celebrate Chinese New Year with them, which provided a heartwarming experience of being warmly welcomed by their extended family and friends as foreigners. This glimpse into their family life made the experience far more valuable than simply seeking a bed for the night. Furthermore, the family is well-connected and readily assists guests in planning hikes, organizing transportation (they arranged transport back to Lijiang for us), and providing delicious home-cooked meals. Overall, our stay could not have been better.
