Naama Bay Hotel & Resort

We were given a room upgrade when we booked in so great start. The room was on the 5th floor with a pool and sea view and had 2 small double beds, a sofa bed and plenty of wardrobe space. There was a reasonable size balcony with table and 2 chairs. The air con worked well as did the wifi. The beds were really comfortable and there was plenty of hot water. Obviously it is an older hotel so the room decor is a little dated but well cleaned. Our cleaner was excellent and friendly. There are 3 pools to choose from, one large with slides. The beach is a short walk away and has plenty of sun beds, seating, a bar and snacks. If you have walking difficulties the hotel will drive you down in a golf cart. It’s probably best to go early to secure a sun bed. All the staff are very friendly and helpful and there is entertainment every night at the roof bar. Ali runs a small beauty salon in the hotel and I had a manicure and nails painted for a good price. The food is average but as we spoke to different people from 13 different countries it’s obvious that the hotel can’t please everyone all the time. If you fancy a change there are lots of reasonably priced restaurants in Naama bay. Being centrally placed in Naama Bay you are close to the shops and the beach and promenade. People will try to get you into their shops but it’s generally good humoured. If you want souvenirs there is an arcade next to Macdonalds with fixed prices and no hassle. La is Arabic for no, and a downward cut with the hand emphasises it. There are plenty of trips from Sharm that are worth doing and can be booked in town. If you want a quieter beach walk a little further along the promenade to the Kanabesh beach where you can pay for sun beds and towels (reasonable). The food at their beach bar is excellent - great pizzas. All things considered we had an excellent and relaxing holiday and would happily stay at the hotel again. The staff and brilliant and can’t do enough for you. We both had birthdays during the week and were given cakes. We also had a complimentary meal at the Boharat Restaurant- superb. The customer relations lady checked with people every day to see that they were happy or had problems.

This is one of the best trips we had. We really enjoyed our stay so much. I would recommend the club room category. It has a beautiful view. The staff is amazing starting from the managers to the housekeepers. Mr. Amr, the current manager is amazing and knows how to deal with his guests. The food and beverages manager as well, he is also Amr :) Sanad, our housekeeper has been pampering us all the trip and keen on our satisfaction. We loved the slide in the water park and we really enjoyed it. The animation team is lovely as well and very friendly. Thank you Naama bay hotel and resort for a great experience.

The Hotel is located in the center of the city which is very comfortable for walking a lot. The food in Naa Bay hotel is perfect. For every person. The animation teams keeps people busy and fun all day long. They are very kind sociable and attentive. Thank You Naama Bay. We are here for the second time and we will come back for the third.

The hotel was good,definately not 5 star..Needs a refurb & the food definately needs looking at..The staff are amazing nothing is any trouble to them at all..The guy that serves the drinks around the relaxing pool bar only takes interest in you iff your tipping him every day,the people tipping him got the drinks in big glasses & taken to them through out the day,without tipping you had to sit at the pool bar & wait to be acknowledged..Omar & sofey were fantastic,they work so hard to make everyones holiday special will really miss their smiley faces every time we saw them..The rooms were cleaned every day & everything was done to a high standard..The entertainment was so repetative,every night belly dancing or flame throwing & at ten oclock everything stopped & was so boring..Would definately go back to Naama bay but would not go to this hotel again..

I am very disappointed. This was the worst hotel experience. The room was old and dirty. The beach was far away, in the second line. The food was very limited, with seafood only available one day, and it consisted of small mussels and crabs. The staff was rude and impolite.

A friend and I recently vacationed in this hotel! I really liked it! rich food, clean, good location. very good animators and evening show. Among the animators, I remember the guy from Colombia, David) who is very good.For friends, for family nice hotel.

The hotel is good, Namabey is located in the city center, the food is very tasty, there is a lot of pool. The hotel has two restaurants, next to the hotel there is a store, music, etc., we also liked the show program❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥❤️‍🔥 Animación very good

We had a great stay at Naama Bay. The rooms were cleaned very well every day. A mistake was made with the beds which was rectified immediately. The food was varied with lots of choice and the staff were all very helpful, friendly and welcoming. There was a mini disco every evening for the children followed by different entertainment every night of the week including different dancers, singers and a fire show. We'd love to visit again!
