Hunters Moon Hotel

We spent a wonderful few days staying at the Hunters Moon Hotel. Lovely room,fluffy pillows,comfy bed and a good nights sleep.Good sized bathroom with plenty of hot water for both the bath and shower. Great variety offered at each meal, all cooked food served hot with tea and toast for breakfast. The staff were all cheerful, helpful and nothing was too much trouble. We have found our "go to" place at last and will definitely be back again soon.

Spent a lovely few days here with my wife and two dogs. The room was clean and comfortable with a view out to the gardens and the River Sid beyond. The staff were all very cheerful and polite. Breakfast was amazing - a wide selection of cereals, fruit, yoghurt etc and the cooked breakfast was delicious. We didn't have dinner there, only because our own timings were pretty erratic, but the menu looked lovely (and the smells from the restaurant were enticing). Plenty of parking, with the majority of spaces having an EV charging point, which was very useful. Sidmouth is a lovely, vibrant little town. Would definitely return.

This is a very pleasant hotel, well run and friendly. It faces beautiful gardens and we chose a room with balcony as it overlooks the garden and you can sit out. Breakfast was excellent, we did not dine there but found Neil's restaurant just down the road was a fantastic place for dinner. We would stay there again.

Our third stay at the Hunters moon. We spent a lovely week there with our friends from Scotland. An ideal place to meet with friends. Lovely location, comfortable rooms, friendly/helpful staff and excellent food. We certainly intend to return again Brian & Rose Connolly

Wonderful stay recently, the hotel is beautiful set in lovely grounds. The staff are friendly & very helpful, the breakfasts are the best we have ever had in a hotel- so much variety & choice. Would definitely stay here again, many thanks to Martyn & staff.

A friend and I booked the Hunters Moon Hotel for a 3 night stay. We came to visit friends who live in Sidmouth. We could not have asked for a better hotel to stay in. The food and service were exemplary. The grounds are stunning! Everyone was so welcoming after a long drive from Norfolk then Hertfordshire we felt right at home. Our 2 friends who live on Sid Road came to join us for dinner on the Wednesday evening and the food and wine were fabulous! This set the scene for our lovely stay in Sidmouth. We hope to have a return visit in the not too distant future. Carol Henderson

We have had another lovely holiday at Hunters Moon. Friendly staff, great food and accommodation in perfect surroundings - what more do you need ? We will be back again, just like all the other guests we met ! It was the fourth time we have stayed at Hunters Moon and we are hope to enjoy many more future stays.

First time at this peaceful but well situated hotel. Very close to the sea front and the town high street. Very friendly welcome, immaculately clean room. The grounds were superb. Great food, freshly prepared both breakfast and dinner. Will definitely return.

This was our first return visit since "lock down". My wife & I had previously visited for 25 years. Friendly owners & staff. Very comfortable & exceptionally clean & well run family hotel with lovely well maintained gardens. Plenty of parking. Excellent standard & selection of food at all times. Looking forward to visiting again.
