Hotel Mi Bencoolen

One call about dripping lavatory and wifi connection, solution done in a jiffy! The repair person even got to our room ahead of us!

Pleasant stay! Got upgraded to a bigger room overlooking the pool. Next to train station too!

The check in and check out processes are very efficient, staff are also friendly. The room is rather small but comfortable with necessary needs. There is a small gym and small pool at level 2.

The location is superb. Near MRT and bus stops. Near campus so you get to experience student life. A lot of food court / restaurants nearby so finding a bite to eat wasnt hard. Few mins walk to National Museum. Quite walkable to Fort Cannoing, Chijmes, Funan. Room is comfortable although on the small side - but it is as what is advertised. Staff are warm and helpful. Near Bencoolen Mosque and few halal eateries nearby too!

2 minute walk from MRT station. 7eleven located across the street.

Every time we come back to SG we stay here. Love the location the staff the cleanliness.

This is my third time staying at this hotel. What I like most is its convenient location—getting to the airport or anywhere else is a breeze because the subway station is right at the doorstep. The room is very clean, and when I requested lower pillows, the staff delivered them promptly. The front desk team was also very friendly. There's a hawker center right across the street, making it super convenient to grab a bite. If there's one thing that could be improved, it would be the mattress. It felt a bit too soft, likely due to age, so a soft renovation or replacement might be a good idea.

Stayed at Hotel Mi Bencoolen for a week during my business trip to Singapore, and overall I had a very good experience. The location is excellent. It’s within walking distance of two MRT stations, with Bencoolen MRT (Downtown Line) literally just a few steps away, making it very convenient to get around Singapore. The room was clean and reasonably spacious, and housekeeping was done every day. There’s no traditional wardrobe, but the wall-mounted clothes rack is a smart way to keep the room feeling open. I also liked the water filter provided next to the sink, which made getting drinking water very convenient. The bed and pillows were comfortable, and the room had a TV with local cable channels and a few streaming apps. I only had my YouTube account, but that was more than enough for a short stay. The universal power outlets were also very convenient for international travelers. The hotel also has a small swimming pool and a compact gym, but both are good enough for a quick workout or some relaxation. The only minor issue I had was the small refrigerator, which didn’t get very cold. Probably not ideal if you like your drinks ice-cold. I also had a small Wi-Fi issue in my room. The hotel was very helpful and even offered to move me to another room. Interestingly, I found that setting a manual IP address on my device solved the problem, so it may have been related to the network/DHCP rather than the room itself. Overall, the stay was smooth, the staff were helpful, and the location is hard to beat. I’d definitely consider staying here again when visiting Singapore.

Good location and convenient as very near the two stations (Bras Basah and Bencoolen). Can use YouTube on the TV provided in hotel room, WiFi and drinking water provided too. Great experience during the trip.
