Hotel Medium Renaixenca

Very decent hotel for its prices, compared with other in the area.

I was very impressed by my stay. Lovely large room with french doors opening out onto a small private section of the patio area. TV (no English channels), tea/coffee making facilities, large bed, everything clean. Cold to walk on tiles though, no carpet or rugs. Very well located on a quiet side street in central . I would HIGHLY recommend adding breakfast to your reservation which is taken at their 3 star sister property - a 2 minute walk away. Mine cost an extra 5 Euros and was really worth it. Impressive variety, friendly staff and a view of the pool and gardens.

The city sitge was super cute and a beach city we enjoyed a little more than the hustle and bustle of downtown Barcelona

Shabby side of shabby chic. A grand old building in the centre of town. Reception at its sister hotel around the corner was fine. We had a nice terrace from our ground floor room and there's a roof terrace on the 3rd level which was very underused.

We normally stay at the Medium Sitges Park, which was fully booked and is just around the corner so the location was perfect for us - in the town centre but not in the crazy night life of Sitges (but close enough to walk it in 5 minutes!). We had room 3 on the ground floor of the grand old building with original doors onto the rear terrace, with a small cordoned off private area for the room and a few tables and chairs in an open area accessed from the public area that used to be the reception (never saw anyone there apart from the maintenance man). Incidentally, reception / check in is around the corner at another Medium chain hotel. Brits - don't get hung up on the name "Medium" - its the name of the chain and not a description of the hotel, especially the Medium Sitges Park, which is lovely! The bathroom was small with a half sized bath (with a shower over). There are 3 more rooms on the ground floor (two at the front with no balcony), 6 on the first floor (two or three with access to a large rear balcony) and 5 on the second floor, with no outside space. Saying that, there is a very underused solarium on the roof with beds and a nice raised seating area. Could do with a jet wash and a lick of paint but nice enough. We were the only ones who used it so I suspect many of the other guests were at the beach. The room had good air con, a fridge (only really suitable for drinks) and a smallish flat screen TV in the corner. No UK Channels (or even BBC World / CNN / SKY) but there was France 24 in English.

We stayed at the Renaixenca for the last 3 nights of our stay in Sitges. Check in takes place at the next door Medium Romantic / Sitges 1883, and guests receive a card that opens the main door and then keys to the room. Our room was room 003 on the ground floor. What a magnificent building, i be this used to be the mansion of some super rich guy. The stairway , the chandeliers the ceilings all painted , real impressive. The room was big and the bathroom huge in size (with a big bathtub) , furnished with amazing antique furniture which added a lot to the whole character of the place. Our room opened into the inner courtyard which was amazing as we had a place to sit outside. This hotel doesnt have a reception/ neither a restaurant, but breakfast is served at the next door restaurant of Hotel Medium romantic/ Sitges 1883 which is exactly opposite the street. even if i wanted to complain i simply cant as non of the issue we faced are worth mentioning. For example in the entrance area there was a bad smell on the first day , i mentioned it to the reception and that was it, never again. The water flow from the shower wasnt the strongest but again we managed just perfectly. The location is PerfecT, beach, shops, restaurants, bars all within few minutues walk.

I have just returned from a three night stay at this lovely hotel. It’s part of the Medium Romantica hotel, you check in and have your Breakfast at the Romantica and this hotel is literally round the corner. Excellent large twin room with balcony, cleaned everyday, a few steps up to the rooms , bit of a hike if your on the second or third floor. 10 mins walk to the beach, right in the centre of all the bars, restaurants and shops but still very quiet so you can get a good sleep. Very friendly staff and the breakfast is plentiful and tasty. Can highly recommend

Lovely old world charm hotel. Large rooms with floor to ceiling French Windows opening onto large balcony overlooking the street. Clean room and daily change of towels etc. Over bath shower. No lift or reception staff but that was fine for us. Great breakfasts at sister hotels just a few metres away. At 8 euros a real bargain. I loved the place.
