Hotel bien situado junto a un pequeño puerto con varios restaurantes. A unos 10 minutos andando del centro del pueblo y con posibilidad de coger un autobús al centro o a la estación por poco más de un euro. Las habitaciones no son muy grandes. Se nota que el Hotel ha sido renovado recientemente. El desayuno bastante bien.

We stayed at this hotel late August 2024.. It was a wonderful experience. The location was great with a little fishing port just a few steps from the hotel. But what made our stay unbelievably amazing was the staff at the hotel, especially Tony. Tony was the guest services person at night. He also managed the bar area in the reception. Tony went above and beyond to make our vacation great. He offered great insight to our stay and Sorrento. The hotel is very lucky to have him as an employee.. We look forward to going back to the hotel to visit with him.

Four star disguised as a three star. Claudia and Gaia friendly from the moment we stepped in the front door. Easy short walk to beach and bus stop. €1.50 or €2.00 bus to Piazza Tasso and train station. €40 Taxi for 4 people from port to hotel. AC worked great, room clean, bright, comfortable, quiet. Our room had no view but we booked late. Good lunch right on beach at place with blue accents. Breakfast adequate and typical Italian but with American style coffee available. Great customer service. I left an ear bud, they found it and €10 later I will have it back.

Hotel Del Mare is the perfect place to stay for your Italy holiday. Our group of 7 spent 3 days in Sorrento for fun and sun. We enjoyed 5 star amenities and service from a friendly and helpful staff. The rooms are modern and comfortable. The included breakfast is outstanding. Conveniently located within walking distance of restaurants with great views, the hotel is a quiet gem that we will surely visit again!

The hospitality at this hotel is the worst that I have ever experienced as a traveller. We were asked to wait outside this hotel for a tour on a very hot May morning and did as requested. Other people were also waiting for tour guides to arrive. We sat very patiently in the shade of the sun on the hotel front terrace - simply sitting and waiting. After approximately 10 minutes a member of staff came out and rudely asked us to wait on the road in the hot sun in a very rude manner. This staff member needs to realise that people waiting are potentially future business for the hotel and the impression he gave of the hotel was poor - we will be returning to Grand marina in Sorrento - it is amazing - but would never contemplate a stay in this establishment where the staffs’ manner was wholly unacceptable. In the words of Pretty Woman “Big Mistake - Big Mistake” - we will seek future stay at a very different establishment with warm and polite staff - of which there are many in Sorrento. This hotel need to realise they are in the business of hospitality and as such work harder at it!

We ended our 2 week trip to Italy with a3 day stay at the Hotel de Mer. This was the perfect place for us! The hotel staff was excellent-efficient and super friendly. The hotel is clean and the breakfast buffet is a 10 out of 10. The hotel is a about a10-15 minute to central Sorrento which we liked. As am added benefit there are several good places to eat right by the hotel. If you are looking for a reasonably priced hotel with a great staff this is a very good choice!

Hotel Del Mare in Sorrento offers a delightful experience. The room was comfortably furnished. The staff were accommodating, always ready to assist with a smile. Located perfectly, it's just a short stroll to a charming fishing village brimming with family-run restaurants offering delicious local cuisine and a short walk to the shopping district that typifies the local character of Sorrento. Ideal for anyone wanting to immerse themselves in authentic Italian charm. Highly recommend for a memorable stay!

Excellent Location 2 mins walk from Marina Grande which is not to be missed for the most delicious seafood restaurants in the world. Hotel Del Mare is well appointed with friendly helpful staff at Front Desk and throughout. Our room was comfortable with the most stunning views of the harbour overlooking Mount Vesuvius . Highly recommend Hotel Del Mare Sorrento, great value for money an outstanding breakfast selection to set you up for your day of exploring the beauty of Sorrento and all it has to offer. We would advise any traveller to look for further and choose this lovely family run hotel.

Very friendly staff, paid parking available at 50m of the hotel, walking distance of marina grande, full English/ continental breakfast, nice rooftop bar, great experience. Easy access to boat tours to capri and amalfi. Sorrento at night is wonderful.
