Hotel Marhaba Club

This is the easyJet of hotels. It sucks you in with a seemingly good deal, then takes off every conceivable extra to make up for it. Loads of little annoyances: - zero information in the room or check in about breakfast/dinner times, wifi etc - although the deal says "half board" this does not cover any drink at all, not even water. The waiters came up to me and took water away on several occasions. No water in room, no kettle. They even "accidentally" took a bottle of water I'd bought elsewhere. Pushing for you to buy the all-you-can-drink deal instead. - perhaps related: there were loud and violent fights in the corridors all 3 nights I was there. One night glass in the corridor from a domestic altercation, one night screaming children, one night a guy attacked a girl. I know because the corridors are so echoey that you could hear a mouse fart outside your room. - Nothing in the room. No do not disturb sign, no bag for the laundry, no fridge, no kettle, no hairdryer, AC didn't work. Cleaners came in on day 2, took my pillowcases and bath mat, opened the door to my balcony, and left. Meanwhile there were ***** on the floor. -Staff were unmotivated and patronising. I told reception that the phone in my room was broken and she just looked at me like "and?". I lost an item and staff couldn't even be bothered to look for it in their office. Every time I asked a simple question I got treated like I was clueless and naive, when I'm an experienced solo traveller of over a decade. Pros: the rooms are giant, the pool is nice and the buffet is pretty good. But all the little irritations caused a death of a thousand paper cuts and I was relieved to leave.

Fantastisch hotel, lieve zorgzame personeelsleden. Iedereen staat altijd voor je klaar. Nette schone kamers, veel variatie met het eten en bij de receptie word alles voor je verzorgd qua auto huren of dagjes uit. Iedereen is zo bijzonder vriendelijk altijd en het weer is ( bijna altijd) top!!!!

Having booked a week’s holiday as a party of 11 we didn’t have the best start. No one informed us that the main hotel pool was closed due to maintenance. However we understand this is who we booked through who should have passed this info on and offered an alternative should we have wished to do so. We have no issue with the hotel itself. After two days the pool was up and running and we had the option to use the pool in the next hotel when the work was being completed. We cannot thank the staff enough for all their attention to detail, politeness and friendly attitude towards us all. A special thanks goes to Aymen who we highly recommend to look after you throughout your stay- nothing was a problem and always happy to help. Thank you thank you thank you to Aymen, Hamza & all of the entertainment staff especially Christof and Sammie.

Staff that go above and beyond for you. Hotel was adequate and will only get better as work goes on. All day entertainment at the newly refurbished pool, well looked after regarding drinks and service. This really was the best most chilled place to be! Massive Thanks to Aymen at the hotel who was amazing with us our whole trip! Nothing was too much for Aymen and if we ever needed anything he was there for us. All staff were amazing especially Aymen and another special shout out to Hamza, who kept us entertained throughout the evening. Tunisia is a beautiful country and full of wonderful people. Will most definitely be going back, just to see these two guys if anything!

The hotel was clean tidy ,the cleaning staff very polite .food was very good .staff were very very polite ,helpful and friendly .it was my first time in tunisia and first time solo but I was very at ease and staff were there to help me if I needed it .I am going to book again for return visit 12/10 roma sealy

I could not wait to go back! After my January trip with easyjet holidays. This time round i found booking directly on the hotel website is a much better deal! My friend & I got a room each! I went back in April after being so impressed with the friendly & welcoming atmosphere, the excellent service, excellent food & drinks and lovely rooms. All positive reviews about this hotel are accurate. The location of the hotel is ideal, you can walk to the centre of Sousse via the beach. A taxi to kantawie port is 12 to 15 TD. Worth walking around the port. Every single person in this hotel is friendly, helpful & cheerful made our holiday feel special. Entertainment (animation) team work very hard to put on excellent shows everynight especially Foufa. I was impressed how they manage to engage the children with their action songs. Tunisian night is a great show. I particularly would like to thank the ladies on reception for being extremly helpful after TTS the company comissioned by Holiday Taxis for our transfer to Enfidha airport, did not turn up and did not answer my messages and phone calls! Without the hotel receptionists (who helped us despite being busy with new arrivals) we would have missed our flight. I had wonderful holiday made use of the gym facilities and walked on the beach everyday. Thank you again and see you soon!

Had a great stay at Marhaba club. Rooms are spacious and clean. Hotel was very smart. The food was very good, plenty of choice for everyone, waiting staff are really hard working and make an extra special effort to make you welcome and comfortable. Animation team are fun and friendly. Bar staff are all very kind and went out of their way to help. Thankyou all. The beach was lovely, and the staff helped make us comfortable. I would like to say a big thanks to Fatma, who oversees the guests, she was very caring and extra helpful when I had a medical issue, and regularly checked in with me. The only let down was that I paid for a sea view, but didn’t really get one, and I couldn’t sit on my balcony as the pool below was being renovated and it wasn’t great to look at and could be noisy at times. But guests had use of the pool next door if they wanted it. But all in all, it was a lovely holiday and I would happily return.
