We booked this hotel as we thought it would be an easy walk from the train station with our luggage, and then to the cruise ship the next day. It turned out better than we expected. There was a pedestrian walkway from the train station and then sidewalks along the roadway. The hotel was quite modern, clean and comfortable. As a bonus, there was good shopping nearby and an easy walk to the historic city center. We booked the meal package so dinner and breakfast were taken care of, which made things easy after a day and a half of travel.

I have stayed regularly(once a week) for business since August 2023 I stayed in the hotel last week and I wanted to do a shout out to Elle. She was amazing at dealing with some extremely difficult customers. She was constantly checking in on them as well as the rest of the restaurant that was extremely busy, it was very demanding for her and the team. She never stopped smiling and nothing was ever too much trouble for her. It is lovely to see that amazing customer service does exist even with the most difficult customers. What an asset to your team!

West quay hotel was very friendly and welcoming we arrived a little early and we're allowed to check in. The room was very spacious and comfortable. It was also conveniently placed to be able to explore Southampton or get on a hydrofoil to the isle of wight for a day sightseeing. I would definitely recommend this Premier inn

Loved our premier inn stays..we stopped in Southampton and Sandown on the Isle of Wight..lovely staff at both locations..will definitely be stopping again at both premier inn locations.

Excellent stay from the moment I arrived to the moment I left, Staff were pleasant, helpful and the room was the standard I have come to expect from the Premier chain

Hotel was sufficient for our needs. Lots to do in the immediate area but no noise nuisance at all. DO NOT ORDER BREAKFAST! You will be disappointed

We had a meal in the restaurant at this premier inn and were extremely impressed with the staff serving us, particularly a young bubbly lady called Elle, nothing was too much trouble, not only for us but everyone she served. Definitely a credit to the company!

Great location. Very nice room. Very convenient location for travelling. Staff advised me to book online to save money even though I arrived prepared to pay more for a last-minute booking. They went above and beyond. Great price in the end.

Premier plus rooms are fabulous. The meal deal and service in the restaurant was unbelievable value and quality. Staff including Emily our waitress were extremely friendly and efficient. Can't rate higher than 10 out of 10! Lovely atmosphere too
