Canyon Vista Lodge

Rustic on the outside, beautifully appointed, large room with craftsman style furniture. Canyon Vista is located about 2+ miles from the entrance to Zion Canyon NP and close to stop #9 of the Springdale Shuttle. Reasonably priced. Zion is always crowded, so start early...even so, it is a spectacular park and worth the crowd hassle.

We stayed in the King suite last March and it was great to have so much room. My son was fine in the little separate room, so we all had some privacy. We could spread out with the space, and it felt like coming "home" after our long days of hiking in Zion. Parking was right outside the door and the breakfast vouchers for the places in town were fantastic (and a great money saver). The bus stop to the park was an easy walk from the lodge. It's a little further out so a it less busy, but very easy to shuttle into the hustle and bustle of downtown. Would stay here again! Thanks!

The comfort level was good. We were in the upper cabin nearest the road and road noise was minimal. We spent time on the front porch relaxing and watching the traffic go by. We used our car and not the shuttle. Parking was next to the lodge. The bed was comfortable and we slept well. We didn’t use the hot tub because I didn’t see and chemicals for shocking it before use….not that I searched the property for it. In other reviews there are comments on the “free” breakfast vouchers. Sorry, not free. If you stayed here you payed for them. If breakfast wasn’t served in some form it wouldn’t be called a BnB. We have seen and enjoyed Zion so we are unlikely to come back. However if we did we would stay here again based on convenience and cost.

We loved this place! So quite and spacious, our room faced the front which we think was going to be loud because of the road but no…it was perfect. The bed super cozy and comfortable. The kitchen had everything. we needed for making our sandwiches and breakfast there and we specially loved the sitting area close to the river, just there behind the property.

I have more positives than negatives to say about Canyon Vista. Very reasonable price for the area and the time of year, very large room with nice amenities, and super easy check in and check out for us. The hosts - we never got a chance to meet the owner/manager/etc - were wonderful and very organized. The breakfast coupon was a nice surprise and we were able to use it. The room was comfortable as was the bed. Short of closet space - staying a long time could present a small challenge for some if staying long, but the bed, chairs, table and couch were very nice and in great condition. Our room - King Bed, Suite - faced the highway so it was a little noisy as the early morning traffic is noticeable but we are also early risers so not a big deal for us. The rooms facing the river and canyon might be quiter for those who want to linger in bed longer. All in all, we enjoyed our stay and would go back anytime.

So many good things to say about Canyon Vista Lodge. 1st the location: it is away from the hustle and bustle of downtown Springdale and Zion NP but it's only a short walk to the last stop on the town shuttle so you can leave your car parked and get wherever you need to be in no time at all. The last shuttle of the evening is at 8:30pm, though, so you do have to plan accordingly. 2nd the host/manager: she is a gem! She gave us great recommendations for restaurants and hikes and when I got blisters on my heels from hiking too much she provided me with bandaids instantly. 3rd the b&b itself: it was wonderful. The room was comfortable and large enough and the grounds were so welcoming. We utilized the porches to relax after hiking all day and also chilled on the adirondack chairs near the fire pit alongside the Virgin River. There was a hot tub there as well but it was so hot we didn't use it. And we were given breakfast vouchers for every morning we were there and enjoyed delicious breakfasts at Cafe Oscar. What more can you ask for! I would definitely recommend staying here and wouldn't stay anywhere else were I to return to Zion.

My husband and I stayed at Canyon Vista Lodge on a recent visit to Zion National Park. We stayed in the Sinewava Falls king suite and it was beautiful and very spacious! The scenery around the lodge was breathtaking! The lodge manager, Jonell, was very nice and helpful. She suggested several places to eat and all were wonderful. The lodge was close to one of the town shuttle stops so you could catch the shuttle to town or to Zion. We would definitely stay here again.

Beautiful property close to all of the action and Zion Natl Park! Was the perfect place to stay during our visit. Highly recommend.

This property is a hidden gem in Springdale at Zion National Park! The view in the back yard is beautiful along the Virgin River. Our bed was so comfortable with soft luxurious sheets and pillows. The kitchenette was great to have our coffee and muffins in the morning. There's an outdoor hot tub but we didn’t use it. Also a fire pit with chairs by the river. A deer was munching on apples 30 feet away! We loved our stay here and the host is wonderful and is on site.
