"We stayed for two nights and the view from the room is stunning. The tibetan-styled decoration is amazing and makes all the difference, but there were also a few downsides which I have to mention. - For someone that does not speak Chinese, it is very hard to find. So we will write here how we did: from Tagong we took a shared vehicle to Bamei. From there, we took another shared vechicle to Danba, and from Danba, there are rural shared vehicles that will take you to Jiaju. I attach the image of the road sign where you need to get off. There is an entry fee to Jiaju town. - Regarding this rural vehicle, comes the biggest disappointment of our stay, as we asked the owner of the hotel to call a vehicle for us (there is no other way to leave) and he replied “you can look for yourself and if you cannot find one, I will help you”… without a Chinese phone number and without speaking Chinese, it is impossible to call a local driver. So we mentioned this, and he called one driver. When we asked how much we should pay, he say 50 yuan for two people, same as he told us to pay on the way here, but his wife was there and got very angry at him because the real price was 15 yuan per person, and he was part of the rip off. The lady was very friendly and helpful, on the other side, so we want to thank her for her help as she tried to help us. Despite this, we still reccommend you to come as it is a beautiful place and there are walking paths that you can use to walk everywhere in town. The shared toilet was not a problem, hot water works well."

"It was a rather unexpected B&B. The owner directly upgraded the room to a starry sky terrace room. The boss is simple and honest. Since it is the off-season and there is only our family there, he said the place is empty anyway. The location is excellent, overlooking the entire ******* village, the yard is full of flowers, and parking is available. There are also a few cats, very cute"

"We arrived very late, and the boss called us through the platform to care if we had dinner. There were any difficulties on the road. I was really touched. The boss has been waiting for us. After arriving, he learned that we were going to eat. It was almost 12 o'clock. He also cooked for me. It was great. "The Jipo Shangmo Hotel in Danba is a tastefully decorated establishment that seamlessly blends ******* and modern design elements. It's immediately clear that the owner has poured their heart into running it. Speaking of facilities, the hotel features a charming courtyard. It's beautifully elegant, brimming with fresh flowers and succulents, creating an enchanting and tranquil environment perfect for a peaceful night's sleep. Adding to its unique charm, the courtyard houses an ancient watchtower alongside a Tibetan-style building, giving the hotel a profound sense of history and cultural heritage. The hotel offers two room styles: one is traditionally *******, rich in local aesthetics, and the other is modern, sleek, and contemporary. Our modern room was not only spacious and beautifully designed but also featured a balcony. What truly excited us was witnessing a wild pheasant and its chicks strolling on the balcony late one night – a truly unforgettable moment! I must also commend the hotel's kitchen; it's incredibly spacious and, more importantly, impeccably clean and tidy. I even felt compelled to take a photo! On the service front, the owner's family was incredibly warm and hospitable, providing impeccable service. We arrived at 9:40 PM last night, and the owner was already waiting for us at the entrance, helped us park, and even kindly upgraded both of our rooms. Despite our late arrival, the owner's wife prepared a delicious meal for us. Her cooking was absolutely superb and very reasonably priced – truly great value for money! Today at lunch, she even specially made us a complimentary bowl of spicy noodles. It was not only free but also incredibly delicious; we finished every last bite! In summary, our entire family was exceptionally pleased with our stay at the Jipo Shangmo Hotel. Should we have the opportunity to visit Danba County again, we would undoubtedly choose this hotel once more."

"Words are not enough to describe my experience here. Hosts are amazing. They welcomed me in their wonderful local house, and I felt like at home from the beginning. I shared the meals with them, and food was more than delicious and original! There's a garden and all the fruits and vegetables come from there. Eggs, milk, meats and butter are locally sourced. The room was spacious, very comfortable, well decorated with original ******* design. The toilet was clean and hot water was always available. There's a rooftop from where you can admire the stunning landscapes. I miss this place and my friends so much: I'll definitely go back because this place is unique and unforgettable. Thank you for your kindness and for looking after me!"

"Out stay was pleasant. The owners were helpful and considerate. They even walked us to the bus station and help us buying a ticket. In the morning before our bus left, we were woken up by knocking. And when we left, we were gifted an umbrella because it was raining."

"Who knows! I lived in the dream room in Danba The panoramic floor-to-ceiling windows are really amazing. When you open the curtains in the morning, you will see the green mountains and the distant mountain scenery. It looks like you have lived in a landscape painting! The room looks better than the photo, the log wind decoration is clean and comfortable, the bedding is soft, and even the bathrobes are very textured. Sitting on the sofa during the day and watching the mountain view in a daze, quiet at night, sleeping very soundly. The boss is also super caring, friends who come to Danba close their eyes and rush to this house!"

"The host and his family were incredibly kind. They helped us carry our car full of luggage upstairs. They're pet-friendly; we brought our cat with us for free, and the hostess looked at it lovingly. The hostess's dog wasn't shy at all, even lying on the floor with its belly exposed. The room was spotless; the mother wiped the floor with a tissue, leaving no dirt. What a kind family! I wish you all the best!"

"On the way to the western Sichuan loop, considering the altitude, I decided to stay one night in Danba. The house is a typical ******* residence. Since I came to western Sichuan, I still had to experience it. The aunt and her family were really friendly. Considering that it was inconvenient for me to travel alone, they warmly invited me to have dinner with them. The food was delicious. Since I had to travel early the next morning, they cooked for me while they had housework to do. I was given a big bowl of egg noodles without paying a penny, and they even gave me some fruit when I left. It was really a great gain from this trip. If I have the chance, I will come again next time!"
