"Location was great for getting to hiking trails on Songshan, transportation was convenient and easy for Xiaolin Temple as well. The staff were very friendly and helpful, the included breakfast was also quite good. The room itself was a little worn and clearly a bit old. Sheets had small holes but were clean. I think it was all fine considering the cheap price. My only real complaint is that there’s an odor that sometimes comes from the bathroom drain. Since there’s no door separating the bathroom and the bedroom (just a curtain) the odor also comes into the main room."

"I had the most wonderful time at this Hotel, with the staff all being so hospitable and friendly! The owner of the hotel look after all his Guests very well and doesn’t leave them in need of anything, from rides to extending booking rooms, even complimentary fruit and snacks! The food in the hotel is very delicious and traditional, all very clean and flavourful! I can’t reccomend this hotel enough it’s only 1km away from Shaolin temple and other beautiful attractions.
It was a pleasure to stay here!

"It was pretty good. The bed was fine, the cleanliness met standards, and there was plenty of hot water. The bathroom facilities were a bit old and odd, but considering the price, it was acceptable. The breakfast was filling, and the self-service egg-frying machine was quite interesting. The hotel had a washing machine and dryer, which saved me after being soaked for two consecutive days in heavy rain. However, there was only one of each, so you had to be quick to use them."

"The room is very clean, tidy, spacious and bright. The quilts, sheets and covers are all new, white and comfortable. The bathroom is also very clean. I have to give special praise to the two brothers who own the B&B. They are so nice. They always respond to our requests and solve our problems. We took a bus to Dengfeng Station, and Boss Wang personally drove to pick us up at the B&B. It was really rare. When we returned, Boss Wang was waiting for us at the gate and insisted on giving us a few bottles of water, saying that we were thirsty on the way. He also said that he would send a car to take us to the bus station. A few bottles of water are nothing, but his feelings cannot be expressed by a few bottles of water. It really feels like home. Just one word: Excellent! All five stars!"

"This is a very thoughtful hotel. You don't need a card to turn on the electricity in the room, and the water was already boiling when I came back from dinner. The air conditioning was set to 27 degrees Celsius to keep it warm when I went out, and I felt instantly cool as soon as I entered the room after hiking, drenched in sweat. I forgot to return my room card the day before, and the front desk mailed it back to me through the courier station after closing time. It's only a 7-minute drive to Zhongyue Temple, and very convenient to Songyue Temple Pagoda, Fawang Temple, and Shaolin Temple."

"We arrived at Songshan in the evening and wanted to rest in the hotel before climbing Songshan at night. The boss came out to pick me up late at night and even took me to the foot of the mountain! ! ! After the climb in the morning, they took me back to the hotel, which was really awesome! ! The lady boss came into the hotel and said ”treat this place like home” and I burst into tears
Another small tip is, remember to turn on the water heater before going ~ otherwise you may not be able to take a warm bath in time hahaha"

"The new room was clean, the first room had a problem with the lock and was promptly replaced with a larger room. In the city center, there are many convenient places to eat breakfast, lunch and dinner nearby. The room attendants were also very enthusiastic and provided good service. Good quality and cheap."

GGuest UserThe hotels and B&Bs are very good, with a variety of breakfasts, two bathrooms, one living room, one bedroom, two projectors, two Xiaodu, and a bathtub and smart toilet, for just over a hundred yuan! I wonder if I'll lose money 😅. I've stayed here many times and I'm very satisfied and a little embarrassed. Last time, my dog broke the art light wire that the store had matched. This time, it almost broke again, leaving a few tooth marks. I'm really sorry. In summary, the store's room number and service are great, thumbs up

HHailiuqingfengzuiYueyue B&B is not far from Lushan Academy. It is less than ten minutes walk from here to the visitor center. It is very convenient to climb Lushan. There are various snacks and supermarkets around, convenient for eating and shopping, the boss is warm, and the health and environment here are also good. The downside is: the toilet plastic ring should be replaced in time, the sewer has some smell, lived in it for three days, the total is satisfactory.

GGuest UserWe are a family on holiday in China & chose the 4 bed futon room which was excellent. The hotel staff were really friendly and helpful. They recommended food & arranged a taxi for us to the Shaolin Temple. I would definitely recommend this home stay.

MM31557****The room was clean and comfortable, the air was great, the mountain view was outside the window, and the air was fresh. The proprietress was super enthusiastic. After booking, she received a call to ask us what time we would arrive. After arriving, she greeted us with a smile. She also said that the road was very fast and it felt like going home. There is a laundry room, and I specially took a lot of hangers for us to use. Going to Shaolin Temple, the proprietress drove to pick up and drop off, very intimate, and the food tasted good. This homestay is the most homely belonging I have ever lived in, great. By the way, the boss has a very cute dog, called mane eggs haha 😃

Uun_guillouVery familial guesthouse as close as it can be from Shaolin Monastery. The owners cook good food and can drive you everywhere for a price. The wife is a guide, so she's very resourceful about what to see and do in the area. The husband's brother is a Shaolin monk so you can speak about kung-fu with him. We had a little misunderstanding at the beginning as I had booked a room with a mountain view and the one prepared had no window to the outside but I was able to change rooms. With their help I was able to hike everywher on the beautiful mountains around as I was less interested in kung-fu than the scenery.

GGuest UserWe had a great experience staying at Heyuan Hotel in Dengfeng. The receptionist was extremely helpful and helped us book taxis to the various tourist attractions and a bus to the high speed train station at the end of our stay. We also got these cards and a note to show the taxi driver so they would know how to find the hotel. Worked perfectly!

JJillxu6666The village is very quiet at night. It’s good to go to the Shaolin Temple early in the morning after a good night’s sleep. There aren’t many people there. The boss is very enthusiastic. The B&B is only more than 800 meters away from the entrance of the scenic spot, so I must pick him up. After we had fun the next day, we went to Zhengzhou, and the boss even rode a small electric donkey to deliver our luggage to us.

GGuest UserThe hotel is in a good location, not far from the entrance of Shaolin Temple. It's about the same standard as a homestay. The utensils are all disposable and very simple. I want to complain about the water heater, which is a very small electric water heater. It takes half of the hot water to wash your face with hot water, and you have to wait for it to keep boiling. The shower head sprays very small and fine water. I dare not wash my hair for fear that it will not wet my hair.
