"The owners are super kind, the shower is amazing and the room is nice! If you want a nice place to visit the jinshanling wall, this is the place to be. A 5 minute walk at max to the gate/cable car but in 30 minutes you can reach the top of the wall by foot. In short: -Very kind staff/owners - delicious food - beautiful location!"

"Hands down, the best guesthouse at Jinshanling Great Wall. The location is superb, just a five-minute walk to the ticket office. The rooms are new and well-equipped. Facing south and north, with two windows, the natural light is excellent. The bathroom is especially good, spacious and even has a window. On the second floor, there's a large public balcony with tables and chairs, perfect for drying clothes or enjoying a cup of tea. The restaurant serves delicious food at very reasonable prices. You absolutely must try the amazing dipping sauce made by the owner!"

"We started our Great Wall walk at the north gate in gubeikou. This guest house was very convenient for that. Gubeikou is a lovely village with a shop and a few restaurants. The owners met us from the taxi and took us to our room. Room very clean and warm. We were hungry and they made us homemade dumplings, very tasty. Nice shower. Kept our bags while we walked the wall to jingshaling and returned the next day to get train back to Beijing"

"The room is in line with the price, some simple but very clean. The boss and the waiter are very warm and the service is in place. The dishes are also delicious and the children like it very much. The only thing that makes people uncomfortable is that they didn't say that they would charge when they helped send the ticket gate. I heard the proprietress say that after breakfast, I helped send the ticket gate of the Great Wall. After climbing the Great Wall, I asked me to call again. They came to pick it up. "The room was very clean, and the hot water and air conditioning worked well. It's located a few hundred meters from the middle gate of Jinshanling, just a few minutes' walk from the scenic area. You can buy a second-entry ticket at the entrance. Arrive in the evening to watch the sunset and watch the sunrise in the morning. "We hiked the Great Wall of China from Gubeikou to Jinshanling and chose this hotel to rest after the day. The accommodation is ideally located, right next to the entrance gate to the Wall. The host was very welcoming, and the room was spacious, clean, and very comfortable. All the beautiful photos you see of his establishment were taken by the host himself! Since we were there during the off-season and most shops were closed, the host offered to cook dinner and breakfast for us. He is a delicious cook. He also offers taxi services and was able to take us to Gubeikou train station the next morning for our return trip to Beijing. We are extremely grateful for this wonderful stay in Jinshanling and would gladly return!"

"We stayed one night at Jinshanling Hanting B&B, and the location couldn’t be better—just a short walk from the Great Wall. It’s the perfect spot to catch both sunrise and sunset; the wall opened at 5 a.m. when we visited in early November. Breakfast was included, and the staff was very friendly and helpful. We’d definitely recommend staying overnight for the better light and calmer atmosphere instead of doing a day trip. There’s also a great café nearby. To find the place: walk to the entrance gate, turn right, and it’s on the right side after about 30–50 meters."

The proprietress Xiaoli is quick at work and the food is delicious. The whole family is very enthusiastic. This is the first time to stay at his house. The room is clean and comfortable. Not on the roadside, very quiet at night. It’s a great choice to watch the sunrise and sunset at Jinshanling Great Wall. The boss Er Ming is a photography enthusiast and a big anchor, and he can accompany him to climb the Great Wall."
