"A cozy little haven deep in the grasslands, where the warmth of human connection is even more unforgettable than the scenery.
Finding such a comfortable and welcoming place to stay in the Ruoergai Grassland is truly a stroke of luck. The owners' family's hospitality is like the highland sunshine—warm and genuine. From helping with luggage after we got off the bus to their thoughtful greetings at every meal, it felt like visiting relatives.
Special praise goes to Taiyi, who is practically our ”wild grassland guide and personal photographer” 😆. He took us deep into the pastures teeming with cattle and sheep, helped us find marmots, chased the sunset, and patiently took countless memorable photos for us along the way.
The room was cleaner and more spacious than I expected, with great hot water. The view from the window was of the boundless grasslands and a breathtaking sunset. Sitting at the door in the evening watching the sunset paint the entire sky a sea of orange, the vastness and tranquility are something only Ruoergai can offer.
If you come to Ruoergai, don't hesitate, stay here—you'll leave with your phone full of beautiful photos and a heart full of warmth. 🌾📷"

"When I booked, only one economy double room was available. I booked one with high hopes and was very satisfied. It was very clean. There was parking downstairs, with staff directing traffic and helping with luggage, even getting it to the elevator. The receptionist was incredibly kind. The hotel lobby is on the second floor. The things you need are also delivered at night. The room is very clean. The Langmu Temple with a distant view can be seen outside the window. The scenery is very good. KS60Directly at the G213 there is a truck parking lot and a public toilet separated from the hotel area with a fence. Entering that first there is a parking lot and behind this a huge hall serving as a restaurant, and a convenience store. Both were already closed. West of the hall are the accommodations. These are geodesic domes with windows on the zenith and the sides, each containing a standard or queen bed hotel room: bed(s), a wardrobe stand, a folding chair, a small desk,, a combined air condition and heating column, and plenty of space for the luggage. Behind the beds there is the sanitary line consisting of separated bath sink, toilet, and shower. Only disposable cotton towels are offered beside all the toiletries to expect.
I was the last guest before the end of season closing and came late. I didn't know what a ”service area” is and missed the hotel at first.
The personnel are very attentive and helpful. I was warmly welcomed and immediately offered a small dinner since the next open restaurant or convenience store is some kilometers away.

lhokaThe hotel isn't large, but it has a courtyard and free parking. Generally, small hotels far from the city tend to have issues with hygiene, especially the bedding, which isn't very good or clean. However, the owners of this hotel have done a good job and seem to run it with care. The sheets and duvet covers are better than those in typical business hotels. The owners, a husband and wife, are also very helpful and willing to assist. I recommend staying at this hotel in Ruoergai County.

Finding this little guesthouse in a rural town in Gannan was like striking gold!
The house is Tibetan-style, with a warm and welcoming atmosphere. The rooms aren't big, but they're spotless. The sheets and blankets were washed and dried that day by the landlady, fluffy and smelling wonderful. I slept soundly under the thick quilt at night.
Despite being a small rural guesthouse, it has everything you need: hot water heats up quickly, and the bathroom is impeccably clean. Staying here feels like staying with a local family; there's no forced ”tourist” feel, just genuine warmth. This authentic, lived-in experience is what makes Gannan so captivating—a five-star experience!

I recently stayed at this hotel and had an exceptional experience. Despite arriving late at 2 am, the hotel staff was waiting for us and made the check-in process incredibly fast and smooth. The rooms were very comfortable and impeccably clean, which made for a very restful stay.
The location is perfect for taking a leisurely walk around the area, and the front desk staff were extremely nice and accommodating. Their friendliness and professionalism really stood out and added to the overall positive experience.
I highly recommend this hotel to anyone looking for a great place to stay. I will definitely be returning on my next visit!

We would definitely recommend this hotel. We had a wonderful view of the mountains. The room was clean and had everything we needed. The bed is very comfortable and the seating area in the room makes it really cosy.
We came by bike and were allowed to store our bikes safely in the lobby. Thanks for that!
