See Pu Baosu and never forget the original intention. What is the meaning of growth? Are you facing the world head-on with edges and thorns? Compromise against all unfairness and unspoken rules? Or go all the way to find the first touch? These fragmentary definitions seem insufficient to explain growth. These revitalized rooms seem to be looking for answers. Who doesn’t walk all the way, discard all the way, and then pick up all the way? I am reminded of a poem by Kahlil Gibran, which is suitable to be used here: Don’t forget why we set out just because we have gone too far.
"I loved the localization of this hostel. It's inside of the Muslim quarter, so you get the full street food experience and there's a lot to see. I feel like the Muslim quarter was the most lively place in the city, and there's always a reason for it: people like me love it! The rooms were very clean and tidy, I liked that there where places for you to but your stuff in the bed space, it felt cozy. The air conditioner worked well, but turned off after some time, which was not super nice. The bathrooms were kind of dirty, with lots of hair in the ground. I get that people shower in the bathroom, but I noticed that even after cleaning staff had just cleaned, there was still hair, and the bathroom was super wet, making it difficult to use. The staff didn't speak english at all, but used translation devices when necessary, which is ok. Overall, it was a good stay and I would do it again, but there could be more attention regarding toilet cleaning."

It's within walking distance to the Bell and Drum Towers. The rooms are spotless, and the staff are very attentive. This is always my top choice whenever I visit Xi'an. It's close to both the metro and bus stations, offering excellent connectivity. The rooms are well-ventilated, and the hygiene standards are strict. The front desk staff, both male and female, are polite, enthusiastic, and always ready to answer any questions. It's definitely worth staying here, and the bathroom has a great wet/dry separation, keeping it fresh and odor-free. The hotel's location is easy to find with direct navigation, and the service is thoughtful and detailed. Everything about it is truly satisfying."

"Had a fantastic stay! The place was spotless, and the common areas were so cozy and inviting. The staff were incredibly warm and helpful, and check-in was super efficient. The location is really convenient for getting around, with plenty of food and drink options nearby. My room had great natural light, a really comfy bed, and the bathroom facilities were all in perfect working order. "The staff was very lovely and helpful, even without speaking English. The room was clean, the bed was comfortable, and we had access to an (old but functioning) washing machine, which was very helpful. The location is great, right inside the Muslim Quarter but in a quieter area. It’s still convenient, with about a 5-minute walk to reach a Didi or the metro. However, both rooms we saw faced a light well rather than having an actual view. The main difference was the floor level, the room on the 2nd floor was significantly darker than the one we moved to, despite looking similar in the photos online. We would have been quite disappointed if we hadn’t been able to change rooms. Thankfully, the staff accommodated our request, which made the stay much more comfortable. It might be worth clarifying this in the listing to better manage expectations."

"The hostel is located in an alley off Huimin Street, so it's easy to walk past. Keep an eye out for it on your left. The owner had a really pleasant voice on the phone 🤤. It's a self-service hostel, meaning you're responsible for your own trash, including hair on the floor. Overall, it was quite clean, though the sofa had a bit of an odor. The cats are super friendly and will rub against you!"

"The hostel was very clean. You need to use your key card to enter the lobby, and then another card to access the sleeping area, so it feels very secure. The showers and toilets were also clean and separate. Each shower stall had a mirror, which was a great touch, and the faucets in the brushing area worked well. Someone else mentioned something about the rooms in another review."

"My family and I really enjoyed this place, it had a big projector in the kids room which were great for watching movies. There were tissues and toilet paper and even towels. The service was wonderful and the cleaning lady would come around to collect our rubbish bins which was great. This stay was very close to restaurants and convince stores and even a pool place were my family and I had a lot of fun. Overall a 10/10 place we had a great time here😁"

I booked this place because I wanted to get an early start to Terracotta Warriors the next day, and it's incredibly close – literally a 2-minute walk to the ticket office! The guesthouse has a lovely atmosphere. The owner sacrificed some room space to create a small courtyard, which is a shame because it was raining when we stayed, otherwise, sitting out there would have been so pleasant. Breakfast was freshly cooked by the owner – stir-fried dishes, steamed buns, and millet porridge. The scrambled eggs with chives and shredded potatoes were especially delicious! The room was very clean. The only downside was a strange odor coming from the toilet in the evening, but since we were only staying one night, I didn't bother asking to switch rooms. Oddly enough, it was gone by the next morning, so I'm not sure what that was about. It happened to be the Dragon Boat Festival, and when we left the next day, the proprietress even gave two sachets to my child. If you're in a hurry to get to the Terracotta Warriors like I was, you should definitely consider staying here.

“Excellent location, well-equipped facilities, and thoughtful service!” I spent 4 days and 3 nights in Xi'an, and my stay was incredibly satisfying! The guesthouse's location is unbeatable – it's super close to the Bell and Drum Towers, Yongning Gate, Shuyuan Gate, and the Xi'an City Wall. There are bus stops and subway entrances within walking distance, and plenty of shared bikes downstairs, making it convenient to get anywhere. You can cycle a few minutes to the Dongcangmen morning market to experience an authentic Xi'an breakfast. Next door are Xi'an SKP and Wangfujing, perfect for shopping, and SKP's fourth floor even has a tech art installation worth checking out. In the evenings, there are street singers at Hopson One, creating a fantastic atmosphere. Plus, there are breakfast and late-night food stalls right downstairs, so you'll never go hungry. The room's air conditioning was powerful, and the heating was very good. The room was completely odorless and spotless. Both the owner and the cleaning lady were incredibly warm and easy to communicate with. The disposable amenities were very complete, and you could even get complimentary bottled water – excellent attention to detail. I highly recommend this guesthouse; I'll definitely choose it again on my next visit to Xi'an!

My first time trying this place, and I thought it was great! I booked the cheapest room, which I think was a 16-person dorm, but the front desk lady upgraded me to a 12-person one. I even extended my stay for another night. The environment inside is quite peaceful. Everyone in the common areas is pretty respectful, except for a few loud shouts during billiards sometimes! Oh, and there were a lot of foreigners, couples mostly, chatting among themselves – it had a nice vibe. Since it was my first time, I wasn't familiar with everything and didn't prepare toiletries. When I went to shower, I even saw two guys coming out of the same stall, which honestly stunned me a bit. However, the privacy in the restrooms and shower rooms is excellent; they're all enclosed. The hot water comes on quickly, the water pressure is strong, and everything is clean. Everyone seemed pretty well-behaved. I mostly kept to myself, though, and didn't really interact with anyone. At one point, a foreigner asked me in English if he could use a stool. I honestly didn't understand anything he said, but I got his meaning and just waved my hand. He must have thought I was refusing him because he started to leave. I was so flustered I couldn't speak, just waving my hands around like fans, trying to convey my meaning. He must have seen my panic and understood, so he moved the stool. Only then could I relax and continue drinking my hot water alone. (I saw the front desk staff, both a guy and a lady, speaking English with the foreigners, and I was so envious! Ugh, I can only read English; I can't understand or speak it. I really need to practice my listening and speaking skills. I'll try my luck again next time.) Overall, I think it's a pretty good place. Oh, and its location is fantastic, right by the Bell Tower. But make sure you exit the correct subway station, or else a directionally challenged person like me will spend almost an hour wandering around trying to find it!

Who said this guesthouse wasn't good? The moment you walk into the guesthouse on the first floor, there's a monitor display, and surveillance cameras are everywhere in the hallways. The room hygiene is excellent, and it's normal to find small bugs in the bathroom; we even have them at home sometimes, not to mention this is a rural area. Don't arrive too late, as the road is pitch black. There are also plenty of places to eat. I'm very satisfied with this guesthouse; it even provides disposable toilet seat covers, and the price is very affordable.

The wonderful service started even before we booked the hotel. We got their wechat contact from Trip.com and enquired 1,001 questions. Mostly unrelated to the hotel), but all our queries were patiently and clearly answered. We decided to book the hotel due to its wonderful location. A day before we are scheduled to arrive, we were given the exact location (best if use A-map) and clear instructions on how to get to the hotel & our room. As our flight landed after midnight at Xi'an Xianyang International Airport, the Silver Shop will be closed & we have to use the back door. As pampered city dwellers, the place will look a bit worn out & run-down. However, their impeccable service & warm hospitality covers whatever flaws there might be. For example, it is really cold in January. The air conditioner wasn't enough for us. They gave us an extra portable one. We went to Huashan for three days, leaving the room empty. The lady boss ensured us the room will be safe to leave our things & wished us a safe journey. She took note of when we were supposed to be back in Xi'an, even when she herself was in the flight back to her own hometown. During our almost two weeks stay there, one day my husband fell ill and we had to stay in. I had trouble trying to order food online. The lady boss got her manager to come to our room and order food for us. Even though the manager can't speak English, he managed to help us. The lady boss is very fluent in English. Be it in text messaging or conversing. We find that a relief because usually we get lost in translation due to us not being able to speak or read Mandarin. We can understand bits and pieces, but we are not able to fully understand it. We were in Xi'an in Jan 2025. We were back again in Jan 2026. We plan to be back again in Jan 2027. If there is a vacancy, we want to stay here again. It snowed this year & we had fun playing with snow on the terrace. The location is wonderful. In the heart of Muslim Quarters. 2 minutes walk to Great Mosque, 10 minutes walk to Drum Tower. Between me and my husband, the feeling is mutual. We recommend this place. No matter how run down. The location, the service, the washing machine on 6th floor with a wonderful sunset view, the terrace, the big drafty room. All these things makes us feel heavy leaving Xi'an.

My stay is on the 15th floor with a mini window and a very comfortable bed. They have separate wash from for bath and toilet , while the wash place is outside the toilet. Check out time given was up to 2pm. Convenient and near to metro station within 5 minute walk. Just the floor is an old style make it feel dirty but is clean .

We were five grown men and had a very comfortable stay. This is a B&B in the residential complex. It's beautifully decorated, quiet, and well-equipped. The floor heating was very warm, even with the windows open, it wasn't cold, and the air conditioning worked flawlessly. The complex is well-managed, and it's right next to Wanda and two snack streets! There's a wide variety of food options, but eating in the room was so comfortable that we deliberately packed up for two nights and played mahjong and poker afterwards...we didn't want to go out. Transportation is very convenient, and the subway station is just a short walk away. Two of the bedrooms are small suites, one with a private bathroom, and the other two share a bathroom. Three bathrooms are definitely enough. In short, living in this large flat is really comfortable!

Only smaller room has access to lift 🛗 bigger room is on different building and NO lift 🛗 At 12pm exactly I walk inside the hallway, to their receptionist for check in (normal check in was at 2pm actually, I missed that time frame). I have expected that my room will have no lift, but thank goodness when the receptionist opening the door behind the counter I saw a lift and I asked about it. He told me that not all room have access to it, and mine specifically is on different building with stairs, and I’m on the fifth floor with balcony 🫣 He kindly asked us whether we want to change our room and he also invite us to show each room available for the lift and for the other building, oh my gosh, I cannot tell you how struggling it was to climb to the fifth floor, we only managed to the 4th one to see the room, and gave up. We chose room 5003 as it has a large windows with unobstructed view, albeit a bit smaller than what we ordered, but the lift access make it worth it. And also if you’re on a heavier side like I am and not used to walk a lot, just bare in mind, didi are not allowed on this street, they’re motorcycles you can pay to sent you inside, but the price varies. We also only used the bicycle until their park station and has to walk inside the street another 500m +- I tried to used taobao but my item kept on failing to deliver 😭 but thank god I can return and refund all of them. All in all this has taught me a lesson to choose hotel that didi can drive literally up until the front entrance of the hotel. I’m not build to walk a lot 😭 and literally carrying 5kg of rice in my bagpack too along with how many litres of drinks. But the hotel is nice, they treat us well, and very whenever I WeChat they will make sure to reply promptly. The cleanliness can be improved, and the amenities are a little bit outdated. There’s foreign hairs from mopping I think, so we just wipe the floors with clean towel again.

I can't believe how comfortable this accommodation is! First off, it's right next to the street in front of the train station, as shown in picture 1. The entire building is the hotel. Each room is a separate unit, and the hallways are spacious and bright. My room shares a large bathroom with another room, which is very convenient. The room itself is huge and has everything you need. The Wi-Fi connected instantly and never dropped. As for the price, it's incredibly cheap, as long as it's not a holiday or a weekend. There are plenty of food options and fruit stores nearby, and there's a bus stop right outside, making it easy to get anywhere. I absolutely love this comfortable, quiet, and spacious place!

Unsatisfied. These are rooms in an apartment, not a hotel. To check-in, you need to reach to the room 10823 on the 8th floor, in which staff live. Each unit is divided into 3 small rooms with 1 old-and-dirty shared bathroom. The room I got was not clean with dust on the floor and stains on the wall. It showed in the app the rooms are non-smoking, but I can smell cigarette smoke all over the place and all night long and cannot even sleep. One good thing is the location which is proximity to metro, train, coach stations and some restaurants.
