Trewoofe Barn is a beautifully converted Cornish barn nestled in the serene Lamorna Valley, just a mile from the sea and under three miles from the charming fishing village of Mousehole.This peaceful retreat is the ideal base for exploring stunning beaches, scenic cliff walks, local pubs, cafes, and gardens within a ten-mile radius.Perfect for surfers, birdwatchers, hikers, artists, or anyone seeking relaxation, Trewoofe Barn offers the perfect mix of comfort, charm, and Cornish beauty.The spaceTrewoofe Barn was built in 1730, and as a Grade II listed building has been sympathetically converted from a traditional Cornish barn, whilst still maintaining its original character.Entering the barn, there is a spacious open-plan room with a fully equipped kitchen and dining area at one end and a large, comfortable sitting room at the other. The centrepiece is a lovely Hunter wood burner that is set against the original granite wall and hearth.This room looks out onto the barn's South-facing slate terrace - a perfectly sheltered suntrap.Climbing the wooden stairs inside the cottage leads to a gallery bedroom with a double bed. This mezzanine room overlooks the wood burner and sitting room.The smaller second bedroom has a bunkbed, a wardrobe and a dressing table with a mirror.In between the two rooms is a recently fitted bathroom with a bath / shower, underfloor heating, heated towel rail, a lit mirror cabinet, a heated ladder towel rail and a lavatory.Our two semi-detached cottages are situated across from Trewoofe Barn at a lower level so do not impinge on its privacy .The three cottages share a large, well-maintained picnic area which leads onto two contiguous meadows and overlooks the valley. Quality Holiday Home in West CornwallPark 30 Bungalow is a lovely bungalow in a quiet park built in the grounds of Kenegie Tudor Manor. A fantastic location from which to explore all the beauty of the Cornish Riviera. Set 300ft above sea level the approach to the park commands excellent views of St Michael's Mount, the bay and the surrounding area. The property is only 5minutes from the historic market town of Penzance, with its shops, supermarkets and promenade. Penzance Harbour also is the place where you are able to board the ferry for a days visit to the beautiful Isles of Scilly. Turn left at the park entrance and 10minutes drive will bring you into St.Ives with its golden beaches, quaint streets, shops and famous Tate Gallery. Take the coastal road south from here, with its breath-taking views, and you will soon come to the well known landmark of 'Lands End' , well worth a visit. If you enjoyed the Poldark TV series, a minor detour at Botallack will bring you to the cliffs where much of the filming was done. The ancient Iron Age settlements of 'Chysauster' and 'Carn Euny' are 10minutes drive from your base. The property itself has recently been refurbished to afford excellent accommodation. The bungalow is fully double-glazed with open plan living area with TV/DVD, modern shower room, a twin and a double bedroom.(SORRY NO PETS) The surrounding gardens are communal but you do have your own private outdoor space and patio area. Pretty detached cottage dating from the 1800's. It has a pretty and enclosed south facing garden with a sunny aspect which is great for barbecues or just sunbathing in peaceful surroundings. There are stunning views overlooking Mount's Bay and on towards the Lizard. The interior is tastefully furnished with plenty of original artwork on the walls. There are two main reception rooms - one with a great wood-burner for winter evenings. The kitchen is fully fitted with ample crockery and cooking equipment. Upstairs there is a bathroom with toilet, sink, bath and shower facilities, one double bedroom, one twin bedroom and a small single room. All the bedrooms enjoy spectacular views. A well-behaved dog is welcome. A travel cot is available on request.
