"The large room is definitely worth the money. The bed is okay. You can sleep well. The space is big. The location is good. Many foodshops around.i recommend this inn."

"The hotel is in the center which makes it very easy to get around and very convenient for tours since they all pick you up at the entrance, there are many restaurants, shops, laundries, massages and much more nearby. The restaurant and bar are on the fourth floor, it has a very nice view of the port, due to the type of place there are obviously no elevators, if you go with people with some mobility impairment it can be a problem, or at least they will have to take their time to get there. They offer breakfast, the night before they ask you the time and your choice, they give you 8 options all have egg + two slices of bread 🍞 or rice with garlic + some meat, the portion in my opinion is small but it helps you at least hold out for a little while until you go somewhere else to have breakfast. I DO NOT RECOMMEND DRINKING WATER FROM THEIR DISPENSERS since it had mold on it for 2 days, I had reported it to the receptionist and she said that they would clean it but it was not like that, she offered me small bottles of water instead. There is a pool but I never saw anyone go in and the reason is simple, it is very dirty, personally I would not risk an infection due to the quality of the water. The receptionists are very kind in their words and are very helpful with requests, but one of them has subtitles because her face shows her displeasure. They all speak English which makes things easier. I got room 103 unfortunately absolutely everything that happens outside can be heard, and since it is very close to the reception, noise is a frequent occurrence. If they give you this room perhaps with the tiredness of the tours it will not matter as much because one ends up exhausted, what I do recognize is that their bed is very very comfortable. Despite the details I think it is a good accommodation option, they have areas of opportunity to improve, the town in general is developing so perhaps on another occasion I will give them another chance."

"You got what u pay for, not bad but the toilet was a bit nasty although the staff tries to clean as best as possible not all guests have the same concept of hygiene. Overall a decent stay especially for the price"

"I really recommend this hotel, we stayed 5days, near to the foodstalls and all, they also have anything you need, from hot and cold shower, ice-cold airconditioning, make-up room service and pickup and dropoff to and from busuanga airport with a fee. They also have in-house tours which are partnered with JY Travel and Tours, they will pick and drop you at the hotel for free if you avail to them. Overall, our stay is very peaceful and smooth. Will definitely book this hotel next time."

"The hotel is just a little difficult to find, when I saw the reception I was worried because the place is under renovation, but as soon as I saw the rooms I loved them. Extremely clean environment, well located, on the main street, amenities, and very friendly staff, but the friendliest employee was a little dog who always greeted us with joy every day, he made my trip and my stay much happier ❤️"

"My overall experience is good! I'm the type of person who prefers active travelling, so the hotel is needed literally just for sleep, shower and storing stuff. My requirements for the hotel were good proximity to the city center and nice room with hot shower. Well, the location is truly good, it's a bit on the hill so to get to the city center you just need to come down. In the same building there is a great cafe DAYO who offer 10% discount per day for the Oceana Bay hotel's guests. During our trip to Philippines, Coron was the last destination and the 4th hotel we stayed at, and that was the only one with some room facilities issues. When we checked-in it turned out there is no water in the shower, the staff truly tried to be helpful, the receptionist girl offered us to stay in another upgraded room before the problem will be solved. The thing is when one day later we had to return to the room the problem with the water wasn't solved, we had to contact staff all the time which for sure was absolutely inconvenient, especially when water could be cut off during taking shower. At that point nobody cared already, there were no offers to change the room or to offer us a discount. The siphon from the sink was leaking, so every time you wash your hands, the bathroom floor is immediately in water. The AC is truly loud, but this is absolutely normal for Philippines, as well as the absence of hair dryer. Nice thing that the hotel unlimitedly provides drinking water in the hall. The hotel also offers tours, bike rent, transfer to the airport, but I'd suggest to check it out in the city first, we've found more convenient and better price offers there."

"Excellent quiet hotel. The air conditioner worked silently, roosters and road noise did not disturb. It is located 15 minutes walk from the center, near McDonald's. There is a safe, toiletries, a soft bed. Excellent deep pool, at the reception they helped to organize a transfer from the airport and a transfer to the port early in the morning. They packed us breakfast for the road. Many thanks for our vacation."

"I went on a 13-day trip around Palawan and Coron was my first stop from Cebu. In Coron, I stayed in Dayon Hostel. I was alone for the duration of my three-night stay in the six-bed female dorm. You can choose to lock the door at night for security. I made sure that I turned off the AC every time I went out. The restrooms are clean especially the toilets although the shower rooms need to be upgraded as some showerheads do not function that well. It will also be nice if they do a thorough cleaning of the shower rooms and the sinks as they looked dirty and unkempt. There is a restaurant on the rooftop but the options are limited. If you exit through the back, it leads you the main road where you will find a wonderful cafe that serves good sausage meals. There are also several local options available if you want affordable options. The price I paid was worth the quality of the stay. The hostel is known by tour operators and guides and so it was not a challenge when it was time for pick-up and drop off. I loved the staff especially when I had to leave early in the morning to head to the port for my trip to El Nido. They arranged my transportation and made sure that I left the hostel on time. Will I go back? Maybe not and it's not because I don't like it. It's just that I felt that my next stay should be in a private room for another worthwhile experience in Coron. But for those solo travelers on a budget, Dayon Hostel is your best bet in Coron in as far as affordable sleeping option is concerned."

"Upon arrival, we found out that the Ricardo Hotel was fully booked, so we had to stay in a half-empty building next door. Overall, the room wasn't bad. It had a balcony and hot water. However, there was no shower kit provided. The room description mentioned a hairdryer, but there wasn't one at all. The sink drained very slowly! On our last day, there was no water in the toilet. Tom, a staff member, was very helpful and tried his best to assist us with everything we asked for. Big thanks to him 🙏. And that rooster crowing at midnight – that's a special kind of crazy! 😂 I think he's ready for the soup pot! 🙈 The hotel's location isn't ideal, but there's a 24-hour McDonald's nearby. Getting from the hotel to the town center and the pier (where boats depart for tours) costs 50-60 Philippine pesos for two people on a tricycle. The hotel staff booked a tricycle transfer for us to the pier in the morning, for our boat to El Nido. However, the driver quoted an excessively high price, comparable to what we paid for a minivan from the airport. Considering it's not a long ride at all, it was quite unpleasant. All in all, it's livable, especially considering the cost. We booked our stay not long before check-in, so we didn't have many other options."
