"This is already my 2nd time staying at Brightswood Hotel, and I keep coming back because I always have a comfortable and pleasant stay. The place is clean, convenient, and the staff are friendly and accommodating. Overall, it’s a great place to stay and definitely worth coming back to. Just one small suggestion: it would be nice to have a soap holder inside the shower area. It’s a simple addition, but it would make the bathroom much more convenient for guests. Aside from that, I’m very satisfied with my stay. Thank you, Brightswood Hotel! Looking forward to staying here again. 😊"

"Ok lang sya, nice ang location near hotels and kainan. Gusto mo gumimik malapit lang na mga bar. yung bedsheet lang talaga huhu, sana wag ng gamitin kung may sira na medj pangit kasi huhu and unhygienic din 🥲🥹 so far maganda naman ang hotel. Thank you Majestic!! 🥰"

"Pros: The room is spacious. Toiletries are provided and they attended to my needs. Location is good. Near to rob manila, lrt Pedro Gil. Cons: The water leak/drops of AC was very disturbing at night so I didn't have a proper sleep and so I had to transfer to another room but then in the new room, the AC itself was very noisy and again I wasn't able to sleep properly. Also the bed sheets smelled like they weren't sun dried (kulob)."

"Interesting concept, but unfortunately I would not stay here again. The room itself was quite interesting because it had two levels. I had never stayed in a room like this before, so it was a unique experience. The upper level is basically where the bed is, although I can’t say that climbing upstairs to go to bed was particularly convenient. There was also a lot of unused space in the room that could have been used much more effectively. Unfortunately, there are quite a few things that made our stay less comfortable. First of all, there is very little housekeeping. During our entire stay, nobody came to clean the room. The room also had almost no amenities - no toothbrushes, toothpaste, or even shampoo. We had to use our own shampoo, fortunately we had brought some. The Wi-Fi was another issue. It worked reasonably well on the lower floor, but once you went upstairs to the bed, the connection became very weak. This is especially inconvenient because the room is advertised as having Wi-Fi. The windows are also unusual. They are made of multiple plastic panels rather than proper sealed glass windows, and they cannot really be closed completely. Because of this, insects and other small creatures can easily get into the room, especially in the evening. Unfortunately, we actually found cockroaches in the room, including some very small ones. Another thing that left us very uncomfortable was the luggage storage situation. We arrived about 40 minutes before check-in and were told that we could not check in early, so we left our bags in the hotel’s luggage storage room while we went for a walk. We were given a simple ticket with a number. The storage room did not appear to have any cameras, and there were several staff members sitting there. When we came back to collect our belongings, we noticed that the staff were laughing and looking at us, which felt strange at the time. Only later, when we were checking our money before leaving, did we realize that 1,000 Philippine pesos were missing from our belongings. The amount itself is not huge, but it was extremely unpleasant. I am very careful with my money and am certain that I did not simply lose it. Unfortunately, we have no way to prove what happened or identify who took it. However, given that the money was missing while our belongings were stored there, the situation left us with a very uncomfortable impression and serious concerns about the security of the luggage storage. Overall, I have mixed feelings about this place. The two-level room is an interesting idea, and there is a lot of space, but much of it is simply unused. The lack of housekeeping and basic amenities, weak Wi-Fi upstairs, insects, unusual windows, and especially the incident with our money were all significant negatives. I personally would not stay here again. There are definitely better options in Manila, even if this place looks interesting at first."

"On the first day, there was no hot water in the room. They initially said they would move us to another room but didn't. Instead, they thoughtfully provided a bucket and a kettle, allowing us to 'enjoy' the DIY process. The toilet drainage was poor, with dirty water constantly pooling. The towels were torn and unraveling. Later, perhaps because they couldn't switch our room, they kindly gave us two better towels. The duvet was incredibly thin, just a single sheet. There were small bugs flying around from the bathroom drain, filling the entire room. They provide one bottle of water per person daily. Aside from these issues, the hotel's location is excellent. It's surrounded by shopping malls and wholesale markets, a real transportation hub, making it convenient for the subway and everything else. I'd give the hotel's location five stars."

"Okay naman yung location malapit sa shops at public transport. This is also cheap for around 500 pesos lang. Convenient sya kung gagala ka. Overall sakto lang sya, not bad pero nothing extraordinary din. Good choice kung kelangan mo lang ng place to sleep."

"I like this hotel because of its strategic location, affordable price, and the excellent service provided by the staff. They are polite, friendly, and extremely helpful. There is a restaurant right in front of the hotel entrance, and a Mr. DIY store just next door on the left. There are also many food stalls and fruit vendors nearby, offering a wide variety of choices. The hotel is also very close to the Golden Mosque, which is especially convenient for me as I make it a priority to perform my prayers at the mosque."
