"Overall, we had a fantastic stay at Canary Guesthouse. A short walk over the bridge to the Walking market, which was great, but removed enough to be nice and quiet in the evening. Very friendly and accommodating staff, helped us check-out early too. Nice comfy bed, good bathroom, and free tea & coffee. There were a few tiny ants in our room on the first evening but we managed to get rid of them. Overall would definitely recommend!"

"Very friendly staff, very clean room with a bit of a motel feel. But not for those seeking peace and quiet, especially if you, like me, are staying in the first bungalow facing the street. Besides the heavy traffic, there's live music in the restaurant across the road until about 11:30 pm. And at 7:00 am, the tourists boarding the buses in the parking lot disrupt the peace and quiet. So, it's really only recommended if you can get a room away from the road."

"Budget-Friendly Stay in the Heart of Pai (Walkable to Everything!) Happy in Pai Hotel is a fantastic choice if you're looking for an extremely budget-friendly base right in the center of town. The location is the hotel's biggest asset, making it incredibly convenient for tourists. Location: 5/5 You cannot beat this spot! It's perfectly situated in the city center, making it an easy and pleasant walk to the main Walking Street for evening markets and shopping. There are many popular cafes and excellent restaurants right outside the door, so you'll never be stuck for a meal or coffee. Value: 5/5 The price is very cheap, offering excellent value for money, especially considering the prime location. Rooms & Comfort: 3/5 The rooms are clean and well-maintained. However, I have to be honest—the decor and furnishings make the room look not very comfortable or inviting. It’s functional and clean, but definitely basic. Noise Level: 2/5 A major downside is the poor sound isolation. You can clearly hear noise from the hallway, outside, and sometimes from neighboring rooms. If you are a light sleeper, be prepared for potential disturbances, especially on busy nights or weekends. Overall Impression: If your priority is a cheap, clean, and centrally located place to sleep while you spend most of your time exploring Pai, this hotel is a perfect match. If you are looking for a cozy, quiet, or luxurious room experience, you might want to consider other options. Recommended for: Solo travelers, backpackers, and budget-conscious couples."

"Adorable, small hotel. Cute balcony. Attentive staff. Comfortable beds. Mini fridge and kettle in room. Nice covered space to park scooters. Not a huge selection for vegan breakfast, but the fruit is good and it is so close to a few vegan restaurants. Great food all around. Good view of the mountains from the second floor."

"The boss was friendly and cheap Especially good thing is that the bed is large and the cushion is very good, so I slept every day while staying I recommend it"

"I really enjoyed staying at this hostel. The owner treated me like a son, and I truly felt at home here. Thank you, ma’am, for your kindness and hospitality. I would definitely recommend this hostel to anyone looking for a budget-friendly place to stay in Pai. Even though breakfast is not included, I was often offered bananas, lychees, and other food during my stay, which was such a thoughtful gesture. Guests can also make coffee anytime, and drinking water is available free of charge. Another great thing is that you can rent a scooter here at very reasonable prices while staying at the hostel. Nearby, there are many Thai roadside food stalls and restaurants, including halal food options. There’s also a mosque, Masjid Al-Israa, just a 2–4 minute walk away. Overall, staying here became one of my best memories from Northern Thailand while visiting Pai. Highly recommended!"

"I think it's not very good."

"The family told me to come to review. There is a text indicating Like the atmosphere, looks warm, like at home, thick doors, privacy. Near the source of food at Pai Walking Market Lovely service people The bathroom is good and wide."

"Great view, close to the tourist street, and a great hotel My first impression was that it was old, but after staying for one night, I really liked it. The reason is because of the sunrise and the view of the mosque outside the window, and on some days, the clouds were hanging dreamily on the mountain. Therefore, when making a reservation, I recommend choosing the 2nd floor where you can see the view. They clean diligently every day, and they provide water and coffee. There is a large public space on the 3rd floor that you can use. It is close to the tourist street, and there is a fruit shop and a very delicious pad thai and hoi tod (oyster pancake) shop nearby, so that was also very good. There is also a princess-style cafe on the 1st floor of the hotel."
