"The hostel's location is pretty close to all shops anywhere within the Old Quarter. The only downside is it is situated inside a narrow alley which is a little bit difficult to find. The capsule cabin's size is pretty descent (a couple can even fit inside). This is a nice hostel. Just an honest observation during my stay, there was a smell within the room but I don't know what is that."

"I stayed at this hotel for a couple of nights due to a flight cancellation. I really enjoyed the hotel – its location, condition, and service were all great. The hotel is situated right on the edge of the Old Quarter, making it easy to walk to the main attractions. There are plenty of bars and restaurants nearby. The hotel has been recently renovated and features a modern elevator. There are no more than 10 rooms per floor, which keeps things quiet. My room was clean and had good quality, modern bathroom fixtures. I had no issues with the air conditioning or hot water. It’s genuinely a non-smoking room; there was no hint of tobacco smell. They provide water and toiletries. The minibar is chargeable. Upon checkout, they asked for a moment to check the room. Breakfast is served on the top floor, where there’s a terrace, though I didn't see anyone eating there. The breakfast is delicious and buffet-style. In addition to the buffet, they prepare pho soups and make omelets to order. The selection is typical: noodles, rice, vegetables, fried fish/chicken, fruit, pastries, yogurt, tea, coffee, and juice. The service was also excellent. During check-in, everything was explained clearly, and they helped with my luggage. Everything was done with a smile and great courtesy. I’m trying to think of any downsides, but I honestly found almost none for myself: a small lobby, literally only fitting 4-5 people, and I didn't notice a dedicated luggage room – I assume they store it right in that small lobby, but that’s just a guess. Overall, a very decent 4-star option."

"One of the worst customer services we have had in more than 6 months in Asia. Upon arrival, the receptionist assigned us two upper beds, despite us arriving at 6:00 AM and having booked weeks in advance. Politely, using both English and a translator, we asked to change to bottom beds, as we noticed upon entering the room that out of the 6 beds, only the two of us had checked in, and we asked if we could be near each other since we are a couple. Her response? ”Impossible! We are fully booked! The system does not allow changes.” Repeatedly. We innocently thought it was a system problem. Since we had a second consecutive reservation, we managed to get her to agree to change us for the second booking. When the day arrived, she moved us to another room, much worse, with bottom beds but separated. We complained to stay in the same room, negotiating for just one bottom bed since it seemed ”impossible” to have both, even though it was 9:00 AM and almost all the beds had been vacated by guests! At first, once again ”impossible,” but after insisting, she agreed to only one bottom bed. When asking to change the top bed because it was right next to the door—which rattled and practically didn't let me sleep for two nights—again: NO, IMPOSSIBLE. After having to ask her several times, she reluctantly agreed and did both changes in ONE minute. Was it THAT difficult? And also, clearly it was NOT a system issue in the end, which was very dissapointing. The beds are comfortable, but if you have a bed in room 3A next to the door, the door mechanism does not cushion the impact and the door makes the entire wall next to your head in the cubicle rattle VERY loudly. They should have a way to muffle the door noise. A LOT of street noise comes in through the balcony door. If you are a light sleeper, better look for another option. The cleaning staff makes a great effort to keep everything clean, as it is a hostel where they don't give you ”slippers”; therefore, all the dirt from the street comes in with your shoes, and when stepping on the wet bathroom floor from the shower, it gets spread everywhere. They give you clean towels every day, which is an interesting plus. In the end, it was a mixed experience, with a very dissapointing aftertaste because of the receptionist treatment. If you are looking for cheap facilities for a short stay, it is good. If you have problem with noise, be careful of room 3A. Location and neighborhood is nice."

"The location is unbeatable. However, be prepared for stairs and night noise! Being right in the heart of the Old Quarter, its convenience for sightseeing is a perfect 100 points. However, there are a few things to be aware of beforehand. First, there's no elevator in the building, so you'll have to climb narrow stairs to reach the upper-floor rooms on your own (the staff did help with luggage during check-in). Also, since the surrounding area is Hanoi's busiest entertainment district, you can expect music and car horns to be quite loud late into the night. It's not suitable for light sleepers or those who prefer a quiet night, but if you come prepared with earplugs and accept the noise, I think the rooms are clean and the hotel offers excellent value for money. Oh, and the floor felt a bit sticky, so having indoor slippers or sandals would definitely make your stay more comfortable."

"I was looking for a place under 5000 yen near the Old Quarter and chose this hotel because of its good Google reviews. In short, it's a well-balanced hotel with excellent value for money. Here are the pros: ① Very clean ② Hot water comes out quickly ③ Staff are always smiling and kind ④ Delicious breakfast (For this price, there was a good variety of fruits, and the corn wasn't just boiled but stir-fried with butter and herbs, showing a little extra effort in the dishes). Here are some minor drawbacks: ① The sink area is too small, and there's no shelf in the shower to place shampoo or other small items (this was quite inconvenient, as I couldn't place most of my toiletries, so I had to use an S-hook I brought). ② The fabric softener scent on the towels was too strong. ③ The hotel itself is small, so you can hear other guests' voices (this might be a common thing in Hanoi). It's a bit far from the Old Quarter, but there are convenience stores and good restaurants nearby, so it's not too inconvenient. I would stay here again!"

"The hostel itself was in a great location and was clean, however the fact that the hours at the front desk were odd was a deal breaker for me. I arrived fairly late and had to wait to check in until someone arrived to help after I called. Then, when I checked out, there was no one at the desk in the morning and I almost missed my flight because there wasn’t anybody to check me out. The times don’t line up with what it says here on Trip. In addition, online it says that refunds for the deposit are possible through card, but it was not possible when I checked out and I was given cash which I don’t need now that I am leaving Vietnam. I would stay here again but only if there is better clarity on these issues in the future."

"The service is great and the room is clean, the staff is respectful, location its nice for people that want to be in a calm place. But one girl that working with reception’s staff she has a bad attitudes towards clients, i can rate this hotel 10/10 but that girl made it lower by her attitude. In general the hotel is great( except that girl)🙂."

"Очень удобное расположение. Лёгкий заезд и выезд. Можно оставить вещи на хранение до отъезда. Номер удобный, все есть. Удобно, что есть стиральная машинка. Горячая вода была в любое время. Очень лёгкая и удобная связь с хозяином. Я осталась очень довольна проживанием."

"It was good overall. The room was very big. You could have multiple suitcases open without problem. The room felt clean. The bed felt good as well. They had towel, shampoo and body soap. The staff was friendly as well. The WiFi worked fine. They have a service to drive you to the city for 250’000 vnd. You pay by cash or card. If you pay with card you’ll have to pay 3,5% extra (258’700 vnd in total). I would say the only down side was that the bathroom was a wet bathroom. If you shower everything gets wet. The drainer is behind the toilet, which is a bit weird I think. When I showered the floor got wet, but the next day everything was dry. Didn’t expect that. They also didn’t have conditioner or hand soap. Because behind the hotel is a lot of nature it is natural that there’s some insects in the room. I only saw one medium big insect (not cockroach thanks god!). The rest was small smal ants. Not very much. Just a small amount. Most of them in the bathroom. I don’t like insects but I was fine with it. They were in the corner and didn’t bother me. But if you have ZERO tolerance of any kind of insects I would say not to stay here. If you are ok with small amount of ants in the room not bothering you, it should be no problem. I would rather stay like that than inhaling pesticide."
