"The location is super convenient, very close to the city center and just a short walk to Rennweg station, which offers direct trains to the airport. The room itself was clean, but there was a puddle of dirty water on the balcony outside the window, and pigeons seemed to be living there. Also, there's no air conditioning, so summer could be unbearable – I doubt a fan would be enough. That said, the value for money isn't bad, and it's perfectly fine for a one-night stay. The staff seemed understaffed and busy."

"The hotel is in a really good area regarding transport, bus stop outside which takes 10-15 minutes into Vienna city centre, breakfast you have a decent variety and a good selection of drinks. On to the room, could be better, decor is run down and looks very tired, thankfully it’s just a place to sleep, saying that the bed is rock hard and quite uncomfortable. Mattress is very thin and when asked for another duvet it never arrived. The bed we did have creeked every time we moved so I’ll advise to lay very still. Shower pressure was very up and down, so was the temperature. Price for the hotel and breakfast overall was good but would definitely stay elsewhere when next in Vienna just for a better nights sleep."

"Hotel isn’t too far from the airport. The hotel receptionist was still available to check me in just before 12 midnight. The front desk staff were nice and helpful all through my stay. The hotel was warm and cosy but there were times it was a bit too warm and there wasn’t an AC to turn on. The bathroom was nice and clean, water pressure was great. The bed was comfortable and clean. I had a lovely view of another building across my room. The only thing was the rug having either stain patches or white patches (stains irritate me). The wardrobe hangers need to be improved. I get that it’s an old hotel but it’s still in good condition. They offered storage after check out which was a good add on. You can walk to some attractions from the hotel and public transportation isn’t far from it either. Overall I had a lovely stay."

"The room is quite spacious, and the location is excellent. It's only about a 2-minute walk from the train station. On the first floor, there's free water and coffee available. The bathroom amenities are a 3-in-1 body, shampoo, and hand wash. The hairdryer is wall-mounted, and there are outlets next to the bed. The bed itself is quite comfortable. If you need to catch a train or go to the airport, this location is perfect. The water pressure in the bathroom is a bit low, but the showerhead's massage mode is very comfortable. There's no fridge or kettle in the room, but you can get hot water from the first floor. Overall, it's great value for money."

"Everything was just okay, I guess. The facilities and breakfast were on par with a typical Hanting hotel on the mainland. However, the service was really terrible. They moved my belongings around carelessly and got my brand new power bank all dirty. To top it off, they even lost a part for my road bike. The front desk service was alright, but the restaurant staff had a truly awful attitude. What's with all the attitude?"

"I was traveling alone. If you are planning to travel in the future, if you are going with a group of people, and if you are not used to traveling abroad or it is your first time, I recommend staying at a higher grade hotel. First of all, when I checked in on the first day of my trip, the female staff member at the front desk (Indian/Middle Eastern) was too cool and almost unfriendly. I was very intimidated here, and in my own country, I would have been given a 1-star level of unfriendliness. Next, when I entered the room, I found what looked like bloodstains on the pillowcase. I tried to find an extension to contact the front desk, but there was nothing. The front desk number was written on the paper attached to the card key, so I tried calling, but I couldn't get through at all. I had no choice but to go to the front desk with a big pillow under my arm, while being looked at by everyone around me, and another male staff member (a tall Harry Sugiyama lookalike) was very friendly and polite. The issue of the internal phone not working was not resolved until the end. (They explained that there might be a problem with the phone line here.) I stayed with breakfast included, but the breakfast was quite ordinary and the staff here were friendly and very good. The only amenities provided were the provided body soap and a hair dryer that blew a strong breeze. Towels were provided. The other man who helped me when I checked out was also friendly. This is a very personal opinion, but it's better to discuss various things with a male staff member. They obviously resolve issues quicker. Overall, this is a reasonable and sufficient hotel for those who are used to traveling. Those who are not used to traveling may have some regrets."
