"We initially booked a guesthouse for our first night at Fuxian Lake, but upon arrival, we found the environment less than ideal and the room quite disappointing. We promptly cancelled the next two nights and booked the Xiyuan Hotel instead. Located in Guanglong Town, while the lake view wasn't as good as some hotels and guesthouses near Moon Bay (it's farther from the lake), the surrounding area was incredibly convenient. There were many restaurants nearby serving the famous stone pot fish, and Xingguang Hotel was within walking distance. Parking was free. Most importantly, the room was clean and tidy, and the bathroom even played music automatically during the shower – so fun! Staying at Xiyuan was definitely the right decision!"

"Room: Very spacious with floor-to-ceiling windows offering views of Fuxian Lake, sunlight, greenery, and blooming flowers! The room includes a comfortable sofa and a writing desk. The solid wood furniture adds a warm touch! Facilities: The owner seems to have furnished everything to a star-rated standard. Although there's a slight vintage feel, everything is well-maintained. All furniture is made of solid wood, and the lighting is excellent! The bedding is also good, making for a very comfortable sleep! There's a private parking lot, and the breakfast area is fantastic! The food is quite nice! There's also an outdoor play area for children! Hygene: Clean, the entire hotel feels very fresh! Toiletries are complete, the disposable slippers are thick, and there are also sanitized plastic slippers. The tea set is very clean. Environment: Needless to say, open the curtains and you see Fuxian Lake. The garden scenery is also very pleasant, with lush greenery everywhere! It's truly refreshing to behold! Service: When we arrived, there weren't many guests, and the front desk lady was very welcoming! When we returned in the evening, they had arranged drinks, snacks, and fruits! In short, this will be our top choice whenever we visit Fuxian Lake again. The beautiful environment truly left a lasting impression!"

"This trip was truly therapeutic thanks to this guesthouse! ✨ The weather was unbelievably beautiful when I arrived; the air was fresh and clean, and the sky was a clear blue. I was immediately struck by the lovely little garden upon entering. Various succulents and daisies were in full bloom, and the delicate fragrance of jasmine had lingered for days. Just standing at the entrance made me feel completely relaxed. There was also a very sweet cat named Apple in the yard, who lazily sunbathed on a chair every day. Her soft, cuddly appearance made me want to pet her, adding a touch of tranquility to the entire courtyard. Stepping into the lobby, the American country-style decor was exquisite and cozy. Brightly colored flowers on the table were paired with vintage blue glazed vases and white ceramic vases, exuding natural charm and vitality, a truly pastoral atmosphere. Every detail showed the owner's thoughtfulness. The rooms were clean and tidy, making me feel very comfortable. The staff were incredibly welcoming, helping me with my luggage, showing me to my room, and even giving me a small gift. The owner was incredibly kind and recommended so many fun places to visit, providing excellent travel tips that made our trip both convenient and fulfilling. At night, the little garden became even more enchanting under the lights, creating a wonderful atmosphere. It was exceptionally quiet at night, completely free of noise, and I slept soundly until morning. The next day, a delicious breakfast was served, giving me a great start to the day. It was truly a fantastic experience, and I've already added this guesthouse to my ”must-visit” list. I'll definitely choose this place again next time!"

"Every detail of the homestay reflects the taste of the store and the online aesthetic, which is amazing! The service was super intimate, and the little girl took the initiative to help us carry the box. Breakfast is awesome! The rice noodles are delicious 😋, and the homemade snacks are really fragrant. The location is in the middle, in Guanglong Town, it is convenient to go to Ruichong Park, Star Fish Cave, Fossil Museum, Sun Bay, and Sakura Valley. I guess the boss is doing art. On May 16, there is Guiyi music playing 🎶 Unfortunately, we are going back to Kunming. Have the opportunity to come to Fuxian Lake and live in his house!"

"The entry is so calming. A nice open space with plants all around. The Chinese couple owning the Hotel were very sweet even though we couldn’t converse with them (they didn’t speak English and we can’t speak Chinese). They let us store our two bicycles in the house. The room is large and the bathroom is massive. There’s a bit of road noise with the windows open (on the second level). There’s no lift. They owner walked us to a neighbouring restaurant which was very nice. In the morning they both saw us off on our ride. "

The boss's attitude is very good, the chat has depth and culture. The coffee made is good-looking and delicious. We are 3 families traveling together. We ordered a fresh cocktail in the evening. It was very good and the price was full. Finally, the water in Fuxian Lake is really clear. We walked from the hotel to the lake for ten minutes. Along the road are lotus ponds and wetland ecological parks. The lake is simply awkward. The children don’t want to go. They take the boss’s camping chair and sit by the lake to blow the hair and feel the pure natural scenery. Although the homestay is located in a village and not near the lake, its texture and comfort cannot help but let people stay."

We also rent a car downstairs. It is also convenient for visiting the surrounding scenic spots. ."

"The lake view is absolutely stunning! The pictures below were all taken from the balcony. I could easily spend the whole day on the lounge chair there. The room was also very spacious and comfortable. The breakfast provided was homemade, clean and hygienic, and the rice noodles were delicious."
