"The room was great, with a separate wet/dry toilet, which was very convenient. They provided disposable bath towels and individual small packages of toiletries, including舒克 (Shuke) toothpaste. You can tell the owner put a lot of thought into it. The inn has two floors with an elevator that also goes to the underground parking garage. The breakfast was delicious, served individually, and very clean. There's a purified water dispenser right outside the room, and a coffee shop. The evening lighting was beautiful. It's right by the ancient city gate, making it easy to get around. Highly recommended! All my photos are of the inn itself."

"This guesthouse is super convenient; taxis can drop you right at the entrance, which shows the owner really thought about the perfect location. The guesthouse has three floors, and each level's common area is thoughtfully decorated with lots of succulents, making it very pleasant to look at. The room facilities are standard, but the air conditioning blows directly onto the bed, making it quite chilly at night. A pottery throwing experience was included with the stay. Although there wasn't much guidance, it was fun to just go with the flow and added a nice touch to the trip."

Jianshui Railway Station is located approximately 8km away from this hotel. This hotel is located near many of Jianshui's attractions including ZHUJIA HUAYUAN, Zhang Ming Museum and Jianshui Confucian Temple. At the end of a busy day, travelers can unwind and relax in the hotel or go out and enjoy the city. This Jianshui hotel offers parking on site. According to our guests, this hotel provides a very high level of service. This hotel is a popular accommodation for guests traveling with families.
"You must give a good review. First of all, everyone has given priority to the location. It is near the Poyang Gate and very close to the ancient city. It takes only a few minutes to walk. You can park at the door. It is more convenient to travel by car. The second is the environment: the appearance of the whole homestay is white ins style, and the first picture on Trip.com is not very good. The interior of the homestay, especially the public pool lounge area, I think it is very design and very beautiful. There are not many rooms in the homestay, but the result is that each room type is super large. The homestay is on the side of the road, but the rooms are inside, so sleeping at night is really quiet. Facilities: I just commented that this room type has a bubble pool. The room photos are not specially displayed. Although the room type label has a private soup bubble pool, I didn’t notice it at the beginning. "What truly impressed me about this B&B were the thoughtful little details that took all the worry out of my stay. The room came pre-stocked with a power bank, umbrella, and mosquito repellent, and even the inside of the fridge was spotless. The bedding was incredibly soft and gentle on the skin, ensuring a wonderful night's sleep. I booked the pick-up service, and the driver arrived promptly, getting me to the B&B smoothly. The front desk lady spoke softly and politely, making both check-in and check-out a breeze. I also loved the ambiance – it's a quiet oasis amidst the hustle and bustle. The rooms have air conditioning, the bathrooms have 24-hour hot water, and housekeeping cleans daily, replacing toiletries. The antique exterior retains the charm of old architecture, while the rooms boast modern comforts enhanced by smart technology – this fusion of old and new is simply wonderful. Secondly, my attention to detail is absolutely captivating! The cleanliness is impeccable, the bedding is so soft I didn't want to get out of bed 🛏️, and even the toiletries exude quality. The rooms are spacious and bright, with balconies perfect for sunbathing ☀️ and offering stunning views of Chaoyang Tower 🌇. Sipping tea brewed in the guesthouse's unique purple clay pot 🍵 while the gentle chimes of bells create a truly ambiance. Thirdly, the service is incredibly warm and welcoming! From contacting me in advance to provide the location and help with my luggage to recommending local activities, every step was thoughtfully handled. Facilities: New, especially the water heater in the room, which I really appreciated. Cleanliness: Very clean. Environment: Photogenic, although we're not good at taking pictures. Just relaxing in the courtyard was nice. Service: Superb, very friendly. They even helped with our luggage at the station. It was truly better than I expected. I immediately extended my stay the next day. It's very close to the Seven-Arch Bridge, just a few minutes' walk. The guesthouse is right next to Daoli Park, which was still beautiful even though the rapeseed flowers were past their peak bloom. The rice noodles for breakfast were especially delicious. A northerner who had traveled all the way from Xishuangbanna ate them for two days straight, telling his companion he never wanted to hear rice noodles again! 😂 The bone broth and chili oil were incredibly fragrant. We enjoyed a walk in the park after breakfast to digest. 😁 During the day, you can eat at Jianlong (the sign is in traditional Chinese characters) next to the Qikongqiao parking lot. The food is light and delicious; if you prefer stronger flavors, just tell the owner. For those arriving by public transport, you won't be bored without a car. You can rent electric bikes to catch the train (there are shared electric bikes near the RV campsite's restrooms, but the seats are small; we found the nearest rental shop on the map and called the owner, who will tell you where the bikes are). It's a ten-minute ride (there are ancient bridges along the way, so you can enjoy the scenery). The area to Xianghui Station is very photogenic, and the fields next to the station are also quite charming. Inside the station, there are delicious cakes (super chocolate!), freshly baked pineapple buns with pineapple, and freshly baked Litsea cubeba beef pizza – super delicious! Two semi-retired people in their 30s were very satisfied in Daoli. We'll be back in a couple of days.

I booked Fanqi B&B after reading online reviews. On the morning of the day I submitted the order, I received a call from the store telling me about the nearby parking lot. I arrived at the B&B that night and found that the small front door was a different world from the inside. The four-entry courtyard has a history of a hundred years. The store owner was very enthusiastic and upgraded our room and introduced the historical story of the courtyard. He also provided us with scenic spots and food guides for visiting Jianshui. The room and bathroom were also very clean, the hot water temperature was very high, the breakfast was very rich and provided according to our requirements. The B&B also provided free Hanfu for us to take photos and barbecue around the stove. Traveling off-peak, there are not many tourists. We found the feeling of home in Fanqi, which made us start a pleasant journey

I have always been a bit hesitant to book this kind of old house B&B, fearing poor soundproofing, fear of noise, and fear of small rooms, but Zhuye Xuan completely subverted my concept. First, the location is excellent, right across from the tourist train station, so you don't have to worry about catching the train in the morning. The owner can also help you buy train tickets. Second, the facilities are complete and everything you need is provided, and the place is clean. Third, the owner is very welcoming and offers pick-up/drop-off service from the station. They also provide breakfast, and even if it's past lunchtime and they're out of food, the owner will give you a ticket to eat at the restaurant next door (the beef rice noodles there are quite delicious, with a rich broth)... Overall, it's very good, great value for money, highly recommended.

I'm a lazy person who rarely writes reviews, but this time I was deeply moved by the owner and his family. Even the cleaning lady was so friendly and lovely. It truly revitalized my solo trip to Jianshui. The hotel is perfectly located, away from the hustle and bustle, yet very close to the train station and the ancient city—just over a hundred meters away. There are many traditional rice noodle shops just outside the door, so you can leisurely fill your stomach before heading out to explore. When I was going to and from the station, the owner drove a tricycle to the intersection to pick me up, worried about the inconvenience of lugging my luggage, even though it was only a few steps away. In the morning, when they saw me in the room, they asked if I wanted breakfast (my reservation didn't include it). I had already eaten, but the owner insisted on giving me an egg for protein and a box of brown sugar before I left. The ladies said they'd come back next year, and I replied, ”I'll be back in two months!” ❤️ I'm from the north, and this family is so gentle and polite. The entire inn is elegant and grand. The two-story courtyard is surrounded by bougainvillea, where you can swing on the swings, watch the moon, drink tea, and chat—it's so relaxing. The interior is on par with a four-star hotel in the city, with separate wet and dry areas, disposable towels, and brand-new hard and soft furnishings. The air is also very airy. I don't like old, dingy hotels, so this truly felt like home! Thank you again to the owner for his thoughtful hospitality. He booked me a train ticket in the middle of the night, provided me with food, drinks, and hairbands, and offered travel advice along the way. Please keep driving! I'll be back with friends. We booked a mini double room and at the reception they made sure we liked it before giving it to us. In reality, despite being a mini double room, the room was spacious, with all the necessary amenities. We found everything we needed for the shower and hygiene. The cleanliness was absolutely perfect. Chinese-style buffet breakfast, although at the reception we were told it was an international cuisine. The location of the hotel is perfect for those travelling by train (15 minutes by bus from the station) and is a 20-minute walk from the historic centre. I absolutely recommend it!

This was my bad for not checking more closely, but this hotel isn't located inside the ancient city. If you were to come from the train station and then take a bus to the ancient city gate, it's a bit of a walk to this hotel. I believe it'd be a good stay for drivers since there's a parking lot, but not for people without cars. Moreover, there is currently really loud construction right outside the hotel that starts early in the morning, so be mindful of that. Otherwise the room itself is fine, pretty spacious and clean.

If you drive to Jianshui, you don't have to choose a place near the ancient city. There is free parking near the ancient city. This hotel is about 2 kilometers away from the ancient city and the purple pottery night market by car. It's very close, not on the main road. I live on the 4th floor next to the road. I can't hear the sound of cars when I close the windows at night. It's quite quiet. You can park in front of the hotel, but the parking spaces are limited. However, the security guard can guide you to park for free on the nearby roadside, which is very convenient. The ladies at the front desk are very sweet and cute, enthusiastic, patient and meticulous. The rooms are clean and spacious. The hotel is particularly warm and thoughtful in providing the services shown in my photos. The only thing is that the breakfast is average, with not much content, but it is enough.

Awesome, the owner is very nice! Feel at home~ It is indeed the second-ranked B&B. The first place is too expensive and not very cost-effective~ I won’t say much else. The location here is excellent, just near the North Gate. If you want to eat barbecue, you will be killed. Everything is available. They are also very elegant. The entire yard is decorated in a retro and elegant style, and the furniture and decorations are also very new. The most important thing is the yard, it's so comfortable.
