"I had a wonderful stay at City Viva Hotel Macau. The location is incredibly convenient, making it very easy to explore the city and access public transit. For the price, the value you get is exceptional.My room was spacious, beautifully arranged, and impeccably clean, providing a very comfortable environment to relax in. The bathroom was spotless and well-stocked with quality complimentary toiletries. The staff members were polite, professional, and always eager to help. It is a fantastic budget-friendly choice in Macau, and I would definitely stay here again!"

"The environment is decent, but the soundproofing in the room isn't great. You don't need to bring a travel adapter as there are plenty of USB ports. Be careful in the bathroom – the shower area gets very slippery, and I almost fell several times. Breakfast is a set menu, not a buffet, and only one portion is provided per room. If two people are staying, the second person won't get breakfast. Also, you have to hand over the room key for breakfast, even though they only provide one key. The elevator requires a key card to operate. The value for money is average, but the location and public transport links are excellent."

"The room was clean and tidy, and the staff were all very friendly. The best part was having USB outlets next to the bed, so I didn't need to bring an adapter. The location is great, just a three-minute walk from Grand Lisboa and also very close to the Ruins of St. Paul's. We arrived early and our room wasn't ready yet, but we could just leave our luggage at the front desk and go out to explore. We did the same when we checked out, leaving our bags at the front desk to do some last-minute gift shopping. A fantastic experience overall!"

"The Hotel is clean and simple with big rooms and cold A/C but no coffee only tea and water with free sample cookies , breakfast is ok but offering the same everyday and not serving American like bread and butter , pancakes, ham and bacon or sausages only pure chinese cuisine and limited drinks . when you check in they will asked for a deposit of MOP 500 either by cash or credit card even if you have prepaid the rooms way in advance . Until now the amount has not been credited back to my debit card since I checked out 2 days ago."

"The rooms are nice and very clean, the deluxe double room has a sofa and a refrigerator; each room has mainland charging sockets. There's a restaurant on the first floor of the hotel, and a sky garden on the rooftop, which is a bit small. The service is also very good. The location is next to Guia Lighthouse hill, which might be a bit out of the way for some people, but getting around is still convenient. The hotel offers shuttle buses to some attractions, and there's a public bus stop next to the basement level. It's about 900 meters to Senado Square and Grand Lisboa on foot, but the path to the hotel is uphill. There's an elevator that goes directly to the hotel entrance from one point. I'm very satisfied with this trip!"

"## Location: Absolutely a fantastic 5-star location! The hotel is directly opposite Sands, and Fisherman's Wharf is right next to Sands. March is the off-peak season in Macau, so there's no direct bus from Hengqin Port to Sands. You need to transfer at The Venetian, but it's still quite convenient. From Sands to the hotel, you have to cross a pedestrian bridge, but there's a 24-hour elevator. Once you exit the elevator, it's not a long walk in either direction, which is very helpful for travelers with luggage. ## Surroundings: To the right of the hotel, there's a small alley that leads directly to Macao Polytechnic University, less than 100 meters away, making it super convenient for students taking exams there. A 5-minute walk to the left will take you to the Lotus Square, and you can also see the Golden Lotus from the pathway behind the hotel. If you head right out of the hotel and walk straight down the main road for 15-20 minutes, you can reach the Grand Lisboa and Macau Tower. There are plenty of dining options nearby, probably due to its proximity to the university, with choices for all budgets. ## Facilities: The hotel reception is on the second floor. The interior facilities are complete, and the bedding and amenities are good. The room also has a refrigerator. The room isn't huge but doesn't feel cramped. ## Hygiene: The room was cleaned very well and felt comfortable. However, the windows are sealed, so upon first entering, there was a slight musty smell due to lack of ventilation. Thankfully, it dissipated after turning on the air conditioning and ventilation system. ## Environment: The hallway soundproofing isn't great; you can hear people walking and talking outside the room. Traffic noise from the street outside also comes through at night. However, this seems to be a common issue with hotels and can't be avoided. ## Service: The front desk staff are busy but very responsible, and they can switch between Mandarin and Cantonese freely for guests. A deposit is required for check-in, and Alipay is accepted."

"The room size was perfect for my friend and me, and the price was excellent. The transportation was very convenient, with a bus stop just a few minutes' walk away. Overall, it was really convenient! It's just right for traveling with friends and family, and there are many popular restaurants within walking distance, all with great food. The staff we encountered, like Zika, Delia, Leslie, and Yoyo, all provided excellent service 👍"
