"After reading many reviews, I decided to choose this hotel. The location is very good. It is next to the bustling Erdao Street Night Market. There are a variety of snacks. "I stayed in room 8806. The bedding was quite clean, and it was my first time experiencing a Northern Shaanxi-style *tuokang* (heated brick bed), which was absolutely fantastic! However, I did discover some hygiene issues: there was mold in multiple corners of the bathroom shower, and the sink's drain pipe was leaking onto the floor. I hope the hotel takes these hygiene concerns seriously. The hotel lacks a laundry room, and given the hot weather, it would be great to have facilities for washing and drying clothes. Breakfast was decent, and the à la carte dishes for lunch were quite tasty. During my four-day, three-night stay, I visited several 'Red Tourism' sites, including Ganquan Grand Canyon and Wave Valley, as well as some century-old restaurants in Yan'an, which was a wonderful experience."

"房間挺大，採光好，選擇了背街很安靜的房間，是非常適合我的類型，房間簡潔，傢俱、地板顏色都很素雅大氣，也是我中意的。衞生間有窗户，乾濕分離，也比一般酒店大。房間、衞生間空間大，有益於呼吸、有益於身心健康！ 特別想提到的是前台服務員態度非常好，很熱情很周到：2026年4月25日夜入住時出來接我，幫我提行李，送到房間，之後又因為房間馬桶是壞的，幫我換了一間，又主動幫我搬行李，睡前因為電視機無法關閉又一次來幫我拔掉了電源線，否則無法安睡。今天主動詢問我是否需要升級更換房間，端茶遞水、耐心的給我電話指路（夜裡出去吃飯步行回酒店找不到路了）。 酒店的缺點是周邊找不到餐飲！有健身房但沒有按摩椅，勞頓了一天回來特別想按摩以解除一天的疲憊。有洗衣房。 基本滿意。"

"My first trip to Yan'an Baotashan Hotel was a fantastic experience – so worry-free! The room was spacious and bright, and the two beds were just the right firmness for a good night's sleep. The floor was spotless, and the bathroom had a separate shower and toilet. Children's toiletries were available free of charge. Located in the city center, the hotel is very convenient, close to tourist attractions and food streets. The front desk helped with luggage storage and recommended nearby sightseeing routes. There's a self-service laundry room that's clean, safe, and hygienic. The lobby is cozy, the bedding is soft and comfortable, and there's plenty of hot water with stable pressure. The vanity mirror light is perfect for makeup. It's a 5-minute walk to Baotashan, and the surrounding area is full of delicious food. The front desk service was warm and attentive. "I picked this hotel as a jump-off point to visit Guanquan Canyon and Jingbian Wave Valley. It's located in Baota district of Yan'an. The location is great as it's only five minutes walk from the Yan'an High Speed Railway Station. Even if you have big luggage like mine, it's still manageable walk to the hotel. The hotel reception was wonderful. One of the girls, unfortunately I didn't take her name, was extremely helpful and tried hard to retrieve the packages I ordered to the hotel from several storage locations for me. It shows that she was dedicated to her job to assist guests without complaints. Breakfast is available and included in my reservation. It's standard Chinese breakfast. They even provided warm orange juice which I surprisingly like. The hotel has a self-service laundry room with free detergent. This is a great plus for me. The only complain I may have is, although this is not a unique situation in China, the stinkiness of cigarette smoking in the room and corridor. Thankfully it's March when I visited as I had to close window as cigarette smell came through the window. This is very unfortunate indeed."

I genuinely and highly recommend this hotel. I travel frequently for work and leisure, staying in many hotels, but this is the first time I've felt compelled to leave a glowing review. First off, the room is very spacious and incredibly comfortable. It seems like it was renovated recently, as the facilities are excellent, and everything is spotless and tidy! What I loved most is that the toilet and shower are separate! I was very satisfied with the room arrangement [strong]. From the moment I stepped into the hotel, the front desk attendant warmly greeted me and quickly handled check-in. The hotel lobby features many calligraphies and paintings for guests to admire, a tea bar area, and numerous antique items. Overall, the hotel's ambiance is very appealing. The parking lot is large and convenient. The hotel breakfast is also very rich, offering some local specialties from Yan'an, such as 'He Zha Mian' (mixed noodles) and 'Yang Yu Cha Cha' (forked potato dish). They tasted absolutely wonderful [strong]! Next time I come to Yan'an, I will definitely choose this hotel again. It was a truly memorable stay, and I hope Shengxin Hotel continues to thrive [strong].

We chose the Yellow River Dayu Mountain Villa for our waterfall tour. It has a large parking area, making parking very convenient. We stayed two nights and the experience far exceeded our expectations. It's excellent value for money, and the rooms directly face the Yellow River with absolutely stunning views. The staff were attentive and polite, providing excellent care during our stay and even offering water and snacks upon check-out, along with thoughtful reminders to drive carefully – a very warm gesture. The environment was impeccably clean and comfortable, allowing us to relax completely. The villa has its own restaurant, making dining convenient. Overall, it was a very satisfying stay and I highly recommend it!

Xingcheng Yan'an Baotashan Branch was amazing! The location is superb, within walking distance of Baotashan and Erdaojie Night Market, making it incredibly convenient for getting around. The room was clean and tidy, the bedding was soft, and the soundproofing was excellent, ensuring a very restful sleep. The front desk staff were warm and attentive, even recommending local restaurants and sightseeing routes. The breakfast was plentiful, including Shaanxi-style noodles with minced meat sauce—great value for money! A must-stay in Yan'an, I'll definitely choose this place again next time!

I can’t remember whether the room I stayed in was 210 or that room. Outside the window was a very dirty rubbish building and ditch, devastated and in ruins. Of course, this place was beyond the scope of the hotel and I couldn’t control it. The hotel room is very clean. The breakfast has authentic delicious potato tzacha. The front desk clerk, restaurant waiter, and security guard all provide very good service. Thumbs up👍🏻 There has been a strange sound at night, and it sounded just when I was about to go to sleep. The security guard came, the sound disappeared, and soon it started again. It was creepy all night long, and I was always half awake and half asleep. In the early morning of the next day, after running, I was soaked until there was no dry place, because it rained very heavily that day in Yan'an. I turned on the faucet to take a shower, but it made the same strange noise as last night. There was no water, not at all, but the water was smaller than urine. It turns out that the sound last night came from the faucet wall.
