"The room was spacious, and while the furniture was a bit minimalist, the bedding was incredibly comfortable – I slept like a baby! The highlight was definitely the 'cinema king bed' which truly lived up to its name. The five-channel surround sound made watching movies from bed an absolute blast, with sound quality I rarely find in hotels. Plus, it's super convenient with a Wanda Plaza right downstairs for food, drinks, and entertainment. The value for money is excellent, and the room's features exceeded my expectations. I'll definitely stay here again on my next visit. And the high floor offers direct views of the bay!"

"The hotel is super convenient in the old town, close to everything, with many great restaurants within walking distance. I slept really well at night; it was quiet, and the room was very clean. The bathroom was spacious, and the shower had excellent water pressure – very refreshing. The in-room button controls were very advanced, much better than other hotels where the panel lights stay on and disturb sleep. The hotel offers laundry service; just a call to the front desk and a staff member from your floor will pick up your clothes, wash them until they're fragrant, and bring them back to your room. Parking is available in roadside spots very close by and convenient. The breakfast quality was also good, and the timing was perfect from 7 AM to 10 AM, allowing for a lie-in. The only, and I mean only, drawback is that, perhaps in pursuit of high water pressure, you can hear everything clearly from adjacent rooms when they use water, especially the sink. You can even feel the walls vibrating. I stayed for two nights, and luckily, my neighbors slept early and woke late, so there wasn't much disturbance after 9 PM. However, if you happen to have neighbors who sleep late and wake early, it could be quite uncomfortable. Oh, and the two young ladies at the front desk were both very warm and excellent!"

"The hotel felt quite old overall, even the TV was hard to operate! 😂 However, the location is excellent. Considering it was 800 a night during the May Day holiday, everyone can decide for themselves if it's worth it. Cons: 1. We had a partial sea view room on the 9th floor, directly facing the Garden Hotel's pool. So it wasn't a full sea view. You could get a full sea view in photos, but for a better view, I'd recommend trying to get a higher floor. 2. No mini-fridge in the room. 3. It's a storage water heater, so the water pressure is low, and you need to time your showers carefully to ensure you have enough hot water. 4. The facilities are genuinely outdated. Pros: 1. The location is fantastic. There are two malls nearby with plenty of food options and a large supermarket. Just cross the road, and you're at Jinshawan Beach."

"Parking is convenient and the room is huge. Very satisfied. A family with a lot of luggage needs a large room like this. The bed is a bit hard, maybe I'm not used to it. The temperature was not high on the day we checked in, but luckily the air conditioner was able to heat the room. Everyone must choose a hotel with heating. The breakfast is quite satisfactory and filling. The girl at the front desk was very nice. We arrived at 12 o'clock in the evening. After driving all day, we were lucky to meet the girl with a good service attitude. Because the room only came with two meal coupons, she saw that we were bringing a child and gave one more as a gift. Thank you young lady. No pictures were taken, it’s the same as the Ctrip pictures. Zhanjiang shrimp cakes are delicious."

"I really have to praise the service, Xiao Qin and Xiao Jia deserve a huge thumbs up! 👍👍👍 When I called to request an early check-in, Xiao Qin learned that I was traveling with two 80-year-old seniors. She thoughtfully suggested I spend a little extra to upgrade to a gold card, which would include benefits like a room upgrade, breakfast, early check-in, and late check-out. I accepted, and looking back, it was such a wise decision! We got two beds, a very spacious room, and a large table perfect for making tea and chatting. Later, my cousin felt the bed was a bit too soft (she's always particular about her sleep but usually doesn't want to bother people, so she just puts up with it, especially since we all found it quite comfortable). Because Xiao Qin had left such a great impression on me, I mentioned it to her. Since all the beds are standard, Xiao Qin couldn't resolve it immediately, but she didn't just dismiss it as impossible. Instead, she reported it to Xiao Jia, who is incredibly capable. Xiao Jia somehow managed to find a firm mattress, and my cousin finally had a wonderful night's sleep. I'm truly grateful, knowing that in similar situations before, she would have just endured it for the night. The hotel has just been renovated. The lobby has a very pleasant aroma, and there's a free self-service laundry and drying room, which is a lifesaver for lazy people like me. The room design is a simple, smart, and comfortable style that young people would appreciate, complete with elegant tea sets and high-quality toiletries. It all brings a smile to your face. A very satisfying stay!"

"I didn't take any photos of the room. Upon entering, there's a sofa instead of a bathroom, which visually makes the space feel larger. The room is near a residential area, so it's not as noisy, but the lighting and air quality might not be as good as those facing the street. The beds and cleanliness were excellent. The front desk service was very good. The beef brisket noodle shop near the hotel is pretty good. There are many restaurants nearby, and it's not far from the pedestrian street, making it a good place for late-night snacks. There's a parking lot outside, but spaces are limited; you can park in front of the bank next door."

"I stayed in a special offer room, which was located separately and overlooked a residential area, making it very quiet. The laundry service was exceptional; someone personally washed and dried my clothes, which was a huge convenience. This is the service I've missed most since staying at other hotels in Zhanjiang. Transportation nearby is very convenient, whether by bus, taxi, or shared e-scooter – I tried them all. It's truly great. There's also a shopping mall a few hundred meters away, and a commercial street with snacks. It's not far from tourist attractions either. If I come to Zhanjiang again, this will be my first choice for accommodation."

Just keep saying don't understand: ”wǒ tīng bù dǒng”. Not helpful at all! Just keep on typing on translator and not in WeChat. Very difficult to know where to park in parking garage beneath the shopping centre building. After driving around, found a sign to hotel, but not at entrance to parking garage. Morning staff as unfriendly as evening staff. Just shouting at me! I kept on saying ”Weixin”. Lateron she registered... The trip.com awards were for 2020 and 2022 - definitely not for reception staff in 2025! 😰 Room can get the reward! Room and bathroom very clean. There are hooks for the towels, which are very rare. Shower floor didn't look good. USB ports to charge directly. Room is small. Bed very good. Large window and balcony. Big mirror with light around it in bathroom and full length mirror next to cupboard. Room doesn't have good sound proof - hear everything next door. Quite noisy from outside from early morning . Night market on street level in front of building and shopping centre. @
