"Staying in Kobe for a night, I booked this hotel after reading reviews that it's close to Sannomiya Station and relatively new. It was super convenient coming from Kansai Airport; I took the airport bus directly to the Sannomiya bus terminal, and after getting off, it was less than a 10-minute walk with Google Maps. Getting to JR Sannomiya Station from the hotel takes a maximum of 5 minutes, and the Hanshin Line is less than 10 minutes away – both are very close! There are plenty of dining options downstairs, and a 7-Eleven right next door. If you walk out the main hotel entrance and turn left, there's a cute dessert shop called Dorsia about five minutes away. Plus, it's not far from the Sannomiya shopping district, so you can easily walk there. I forgot to take pictures of the room, but in a double room, there was no problem opening a 26-inch suitcase."

"I chose this hotel because I had a conference at the convention centre not knowing I have limited choice of getting something to eat (looking for halal option). Despite the lacking, I was able to survive for 3 days as I had to commute the Portliner to get something to eat. The location was quite a distance towards the portliner station therefore you have to walk a bit with your luggage if you are coming using public transport. The hotel surrounding is quiet. This is my first time staying at hotel in Japan, most of the time in airbnb. Towels were changed daily. Did not choose the breakfast. Service was acceptable."

"Taking the bus from Kansai Airport, it's not a long walk from Sannomiya Station. However, we initially went to the wrong hotel, finding another one by mistake. The hotel is located in a bustling market, which is very convenient. It's right behind Nanjingmachi (Chinatown) and extremely close to the seaside and Sannomiya. The hotel has Chinese-speaking staff who were very polite. The room was also quiet, and the toiletries were excellent. There's a 7-Eleven convenience store to the left. A 5-minute walk to the right will take you to Daimaru Department Store. We stayed for three days and were very satisfied. If we come to Kobe again, we'll likely stay here."

"The hotel is located on a slope behind Arima Onsen street. The actual distance isn't far, probably just over 800 meters if you take a leisurely walk through the hot spring town. While there are many hotels on this slope, carrying luggage uphill can be a bit tiring. So, I'd recommend contacting the hotel in advance (or via Ctrip) for their pickup service. A hotel shuttle will quickly pick you up from Arima Onsen Station, and the ride takes only about five minutes. The hotel is situated by the Rokko River. The rooms have been renovated and are quite clean. There's a Japanese-Korean izakaya on the first floor, open from 5 PM to 11 PM. This is very convenient, especially considering that many restaurants in the hot spring town tend to close early. I must especially praise their hot springs! They offer both 'Gold' (Kinsen) and 'Silver' (Ginsen) springs. Guests are generally well-spaced out, so there's often no one else around when you're bathing – many times, I had the springs entirely to myself. The springs are absolutely fantastic, making it completely unnecessary to pay to visit the 'Gold Spring' in the main hot spring town, as the spring sources are reportedly the same. Arima Onsen street isn't very large; you can comfortably explore the entire area in about an hour. If you have some spare time, you could also go for a hike in the mountains behind. All in all, the hot springs are the definite highlight here."
