"I originally planned to book Toyoko Inn, but then I saw that this hotel was even cheaper for those two days, so I booked it instead. At just over 400 RMB a night, the value for money was pretty good. The location is excellent, right next to Odori Park. The closest subway station is Nishi 11-chome, and it's not far from Odori Station either. It's also quite close to Sapporo Station, Susukino, and the Sapporo TV Tower. Sapporo's city center isn't very large, so transportation is quite convenient. The room itself was on par with an upper-mid-range budget hotel – nothing spectacular, but perfectly decent. It was quiet and comfortable for sleeping."

"It's just a few minutes' walk from the subway station and a 10-15 minute walk from Tanukikoji Shopping Street and Sapporo TV Tower. The room is reasonably arranged and quite spacious for Japan. It has a microwave, refrigerator, washer-dryer combo, and electric stove, which is very convenient. Disposable slippers, toothbrush, toothpaste, comb, razor, and laundry detergent are provided, but no skincare products. There are also free hot and cold tea and coffee in the lobby. The hotel does not offer breakfast. If you need your room cleaned, just put the magnetic sign on the door before 11:00 AM. If you don't need cleaning, leave your trash outside the door, and you can pick up trash bags and clean towels in the lobby. The girl at the front desk who wears glasses is not very helpful; she's not proactive and doesn't smile. The tall girl has a very sweet smile, and the two boys are also nice. Overall, the room rate of around 300 RMB is very reasonable, and I would recommend it."

"This hotel is incredibly close to the Odori subway station exits, with various lines nearby, just a 2-3 minute walk away. If you're someone who doesn't want to drag your luggage far, this place is perfect! And the biggest plus? There's an airport bus stop right in front of the hotel with direct service to New Chitose Airport 🚌. No need to squeeze onto the subway on your way back – it's a lifesaver for those with big luggage! It's also about a 6-8 minute walk to PARCO and Tanukikoji, making shopping and dining super convenient."

"The hotel's location is great, quite close to the JR station. It's a five-minute walk to Daimaru. Although the room is small, it has everything you need, and the staff are very enthusiastic and friendly! I arrived at noon that day, and they arranged an early check-in for me, which I really appreciate!"

"Marvellous location!!! Hotel opened in December 2023. Nice, clean and decent-sized room. Hotel lobby has a small tea pantry with coffee machine, amenities shelf, drinks vending machine and a laundry area. Limited free snack every afternoon. Lift only accessible with your card key. Super impressed with the accessible and fantastic location. - take the airport bus and drop at Minami 3-jo Susukino. Hotel is just diagonally across the street (less than a minute walk) - when you exit from the hotel, make a u-turn to your right and you are less than a minute away from the connector of sectors 2 & 3 of Tanukikoji Shopping Street - Daiso is a 2-minute walk and Mega Don Quijote (opens 24h) is a 3-minute walk from the hotel - a mere 3-minute walk to Susukino Station or 5-minute walk to Odori Station - Family Mart and 7-Eleven are just across the street and Lawson is a 2-minute walk away - nestled right next to the intersection with a prominent and unique-looking facade, high visibility - an abundant array of dining options all around the hotel Switched to this hotel from my original choice 2 days before the trip. "The hotel's location is great, right outside JR Susukino Station. It's next to the Risokoji shopping street, and there are many small shops along the underground JR street too. You'll have no trouble finding food, and there's a supermarket downstairs. The hotel lobby is on the second floor, and they provide free drink coupons – one for each day you stay, based on the number of guests. I booked a Deluxe King Panorama room, which had a good view. The water pressure in the shower was excellent and very comfortable. The air conditioning was super warm in winter."

"The location is absolutely unbeatable. It's just one block past Daimaru department store, and about a 5-minute walk to the JR station. There's a convenience store downstairs, and a whole building full of restaurants right across the street. The only minor drawback is that the hotel is a bit old, especially the bathroom mirror which is a bit worn out, and the lighting is quite dim. There's also no separate wet and dry areas in the bathroom, but for this price, you really can't complain. The room is quite small though; you won't be able to fully open a 28-inch suitcase. Oh, and the hotel WiFi is practically useless. The breakfast is pretty basic – just milk, bread, and pudding – but since it's free, it's a nice bonus."

"Perfect location—super convenient! It’s only a 1–3 minute walk to Susukino and Hosui‑Susukino subway stations, Tanukikoji Shopping Street, the airport bus stop, and the bus to Sapporo Station. The hotel has a traditional style and offers a reasonable price, plus free breakfast, which is a nice bonus. The staff are polite, and although the room is quite small, it has everything you need. The outside view faces an alleyway, so there isn’t much natural light, but it wasn’t a big issue for us. You can store your baggage in the lockers, which is very convenient. Do note that there may be some noise from outside the room. Overall, a comfortable and convenient stay!"

GGuest UserSeven years ago, I stayed at a hotel directly across from Jozankei. While strolling nearby, I took a picture of a ryokan because its exterior was so beautiful. By chance, I ended up booking that very ryokan and came here. Not only the exterior, but the interior was also more stunning than I could have imagined. From the lobby to the hallways and lounges, everything has a delicate yet ideal design, and the room was so much to my liking that I felt like I could live there. I've stayed in countless hotels over the years, but this one was the best. The only slight disappointment was that I didn't find the kaiseki particularly delicious. Personally, I can't recall anything special about it besides the shrimp. However, the breakfast was great as it offered a wide variety of options. I definitely plan to revisit in the future.

HHUIN WENG KITI have stayed there for 6 days. Every morning, we were greeted by the energetic and friendly staff who are preparing the breakfast when we pass by. For every single day, the same amount of energy which makes us feel home. They served simple yet good food and we really enjoy it. Every night, when we come back after a long, cold day of trip outside, the staff served hot soup which is suitable. The staff at the reception counter will also greet you. I dont really get what they said but i guess they welcome you home. I hope management who see this comment can please help to tell the staffs that they did a good job. I stayed at many japan hotel and the level of welcoming here is really above the average hotels. Take care and hope to go Hokkaido again! Matane!

AAnonymous UserFacilities: The hotel is quite new. I was given a room on the 14th floor, the highest floor. The wood-toned decor is very cozy. What I liked most were the small sofa and the large table, which were super convenient for placing items and eating. The bed was also very comfortable, more than enough for one person. Cleanliness: The room was cleaned daily and very thoroughly, which I was quite happy with. The toiletries were DHC brand, and there was a disposable toothbrush, tea bags, and coffee. However, there didn't seem to be bottled water, although the hotel mentioned the tap water is drinkable. Environment: The hotel is located north of Sapporo Station's East Exit, which is relatively quiet. There's a 7-Eleven right near the hotel downstairs and a Lawson across the street, making it very convenient for breakfast and other necessities. You can walk directly to Hokkaido University from the north side. Since I was traveling to Otaru and Asahikawa and came to Sapporo on the Hokuto train from Hakodate, staying near Sapporo Station felt more convenient for getting around than the Susukino area. Service: The hotel staff provided excellent service; the front desk always greeted guests when entering and exiting. The price for this booking was also very reasonable, offering good value for money. I would definitely stay here again during the snowy season.

PPatcharakon SIf you’re looking for a spot in Sapporo that’s right in the thick of things without breaking the bank, KOKO HOTEL Sapporo Odori is a total win. It’s tucked just a block or two away from Odori Park—which is a lifesaver if you're there for the Snow Festival—and you can wander over to the Tanukikoji shops or the Susukino nightlife in just a few minutes. The rooms are definitely on the cozy side (very typical for Japan), but they’re super clean, modern, and surprisingly quiet given how central you are. Plus, they have an awesome amenity bar in the lobby where you can grab all your skincare and coffee essentials on your way up. It’s basically the perfect ”crash pad” for anyone who plans on spending most of their day exploring the city rather than sitting in a hotel room.

GGuest UserThe location is fantastic! The building really stands out, and there are tons of restaurants and shops nearby, plus it's super convenient for transport. However, the room itself was a big disappointment. First, the window offered absolutely no view and couldn't even be opened – it felt like I'd booked a windowless room. Second, there were several hairs on the toilet seat, actually stuck in the middle. I was so exhausted after a long day of travel that I didn't even think to take pictures as evidence.
